We came here with a group of coworkers and it was my first time here. The food was delicious. I got the crab fried rice. We shared the appetizer we got the crispy calamari, steamed mussels, Thai vegetables cake, and chicken curry puff. Also for the drink I got the young coconut juice. Dessert we got mango sticky rice.

The owner/manager is super cool. Tried a bunch of different Thai dishes I haven’t had before. Papaya salad had a little kick to it. These dumplings were more pork the shrimp compared to siu mai. Good spot!

This establishment offers authentic Thai cuisine in a beautiful and inviting atmosphere. A friend recommended it, and the service was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed the appetizers, main courses, and drinks. Simply inform your server of your preferences and favorite dishes; you won't be disappointed. I highly recommend this restaurant and plan to return. Thank you

If you're craving authentic Thai food in a beautiful setting, look no further! Google recommendation led me here, and the experience exceeded expectations. From the appetizers to the main courses and drinks, everything was thoroughly enjoyed, complemented by excellent service. Just tell your server what you like – you won't be disappointed! I highly recommend this spot.

This was our second time here. The food was good, but the service was poor. Our server disappeared after taking our order, our water glasses were empty, and we waited a long time before anyone came to refill them. Service like this doesn’t justify an 18% tip.

Google
We went for lunch. Our server was great. We had soup, classic Thai fried rice, red curry chicken, taro custard. Everything was delicious. The price was reasonable and the atmosphere was peaceful.

I honestly have nothing bad to say about this establishment. We’ve had dinner here several times and we also celebrated my birthday/surprise engagement party in their back patio. One of the happiest moments in our lives that we got to share with all our friends and family. We are so thankful for the wonderful staff that went above and beyond to make our night special. Food was amazing as always, ambiance was perfect and everyone working there was so kind and accommodating. Thank you again! Looking forward to making more memories in this place either it be big or small.

Google
Always have a great experience here. It’s not just the delish food but the excellent service that we get really makes the difference. The staff hustles and they work very well as a team. No staff member stands around. If they’re not serving they’re preparing setups or cleaning. Started with the Dumplings. One of my favs. Soft and silky with the best flavors. Four never seems to be enough. Little pillows of joy in your mouth. Next to the muscles. Chose mild as I’m a lightweight with heat. While they weren’t as good as the last time I was here the broth they are in made up for it. I actually poured this sauce over my dumplings and it was yummy! Stuck traditional with pad tai which never disappoints and an order of crispy duck which was tender and flavorful as always. Good was served hot with little wait time. There’s many Thai places in flushing but I like this place better than most because it’s spacious and clean and has some ambiance. It’s more of a dining experience compared to some of the smaller places where you are cramped and pushed in and out.

Yelp
Food is amazing Service is amazing Ambiance is amazing Our favorite restaurant! Michelle is the best!

Yelp
Been here a couple of times over the years. The food was good but the service has declined. They don't listen when your order specific items from the menu. Like sauce on the side and they served the sauce with it. The owner only step in once for ten times they screwed the order. Thai people are very cheap and doesn't offer refund or anything else that is wrong on their part.

Yelp
I was actually surprised I hadn't tried this place before because it's fairly close to me and has pretty good reviews. The menu has some standard fare but also some things I hadn't tried before. Ultimately, it was fine, nothing terribly special and I probably won't be back. I should have suspected as much when a restaurant is SO big and has SUCH a large menu. - Pad gra tiem was not a dish I had had before. I would probably like this somewhere else but it was a bit underwhelming here. - Baa mee grob lad na: I expected to like this one less than the pad gra tiem, but I ended up enjoying this one a skosh more. - Duck roll: We tried this just because it seemed interesting, but we really didn't need this. The sauce was just okay and the filling wasn't as much as I would have hoped.

Yelp
For a large restaurant and somewhat recognizable. I say it's all fluff. The food dishes were not the most delicious, intriguing or at full potential. Drinks were a let down. Chains like Olive Garden makes better drinks - and you have a FULL bar. Drinks came after the food ?!?! Atmosphere and setting/decor is perfect, wonderful and very cultural. There's a lot of customers I know however they need to get it together. There's plates had left over food and they said it's the wind ? Picture taken. One white shirt manager. Said nothing aside from "bye" To add injury on insult the put an involuntary 20% tip ... and ask for more ... YOU don't even deserve or earned a tip. Everything was basic or below. Want a good Thai spot : Thai 101 on bell blvd, bayside Thai social on bell blvd, Oakland gardens Futgi has better Thai ... and it's a half sushi place..... 3.1 of 5 Not Super

Yelp
What a day! I needed to get away. I took a trip and landed at BKNY Thai. I arrived prior to my friend. I ordered a libation, Powder Blue was my choice. My friend arrived and we ordered Thai spring rolls (4), chicken curry puffs (4) and pineapple fried rice with shrimp. The music was a vibe and many people were celebrating. We saw a cake presentation for happy birthday. Waitstaff joined in to sing to the patron.

Yelp
If you have a big group, highly recommend you make a reservation. They laid out exact number and tell you to sit down before they provide extra plates settings. There is a small parking lot in the back though I have found street parking if needed. Employees are efficient and if you need your plate change, they will change it. The place might be a bit dim though if you need they can turn on the spotlight for picture taking. They have plenty of room to accommodate We spend more than 2 hours here with mingling before ordering and eating food (Appetizer and Entrees) and drinks. We shared the dishes so we can try a variety of dishes. Appetizer: Puff Curry Sausage Papaya Salad Mango Salad Beef Salad Chive (complimentary) Curry Chicken BBQ Chicken Entree: Lamb Chops Pan Fried Beef with Rice Noodles Eggplant Rice Seafood Beef with Vermicelli Noodles Tom Yum Soup

Yelp
I came here with my friend for a quick lunch and they had a very nice lunch special. The restaurant itself is very nice inside, they have a full stocked bar and a nice red decor inside. Their lunch special I believe was $13 for a spring roll and chicken pad Thai. They do serve a generous amount and the food itself was very tasty. We also ordered their chicken wings to share which were crunchy and meaty. I also ordered their thai iced tea which wasn't part of their lunch special but was very refreshing. It is also fairly close to my house so I will be returning.

Yelp
This spot is a must visit if you're in the area! The food is always excellent, the service is fast and friendly and it has a nice quiet ambiance to it. My go to is either the pad kee mao (drunken noodles) with shrimpand I add mushrooms or the bkny mixed special (it comes with a side of rice). The portions are a good size and you will always leave satisfied. The appetizers are also amazing! My favorites are the spring rolls, the mussels, and the chicken wings. They also come with a sweet sauce that gives it a little extra flavor. You can never go wrong by visiting this restaurant

Yelp
This place is the best Thai restaurant I've ever been to! Their food is amazing. The lemon chicken I had was delicious. I drank the Wonder Woman and it was very tasty, down to the cherry. The waiter was very funny and pleasant and the place itself is very cozy and easy to hear each other. I would eat here again!
google avatar

Yelp
Solid Thai option in north queens. Interior feels a little corporate if that makes sense. Service is generally pretty quick and efficient. Definitely an go to for some consistently good classic thai dishes. Try the pad see ew and get some chili paste on the side!
google avatar

Yelp
Outstanding as always! This is my absolute go to Thai restaurant and it never disappoints! The food, ambiance and service is always welcoming and attentive.

Yelp
Always a good sign when Thai families are coming here to eat. My wife checked in and got a table, but it was too cold for us, we've been living out in Las Vegas for so long now. They gave us a table tucked away in the corner. Food was fantastic and service was attentive even though it was busy. It was decorated nicely for the holidays without being over the top.

Yelp
I came in today for a $10 lunch special. They have a good selection. Monday through Friday I ordered from the regular menu for the appetizer I-Saan pork sausage. For lunch special, I ordered the pad Thai with chicken and pad Ka Prow with beef. And all lunch special comes with a spring roll. host The servers are very attentive. The food are good and this restaurant definitely can host a large party.

Yelp
Calamari- nice and crispy Pad see eew- good portion, great flavor. Definitely recommend Pad thai- perfect peanuty flavor Green curry- lots of chicken in that deep bowl! Spicy and good Massaman curry- great flavor! Would've liked more rice to come with the curry dishes though!

Yelp
We were looking for a legit Thai restaurant on Francis Lewis Blvd and came across BKNY Thai. This place has a large dining room with a closed in patio for additional seating. Service was friendly, attentive and quick despite a full restaurant. Our waitress was amazing and had plenty of good suggestions when asked. The food was authentic Thai, and approved by my Thai boyfriend. The Pad Thai was perfectly balanced and not too sweet. The Spicy Crispy Duck Salad had great flavor and not too spicy (*You can let them know how spicy you'd prefer). The duck was crispy and not overcooked. The Tod Mun (fish cakes) had a nice texture with subtle flavors served with a side of dipping sauce that complimented dish. My favorite thing was the dessert. The sticky rice with mangoes is one of my favorite desserts and BKNY Thai did not fail to deliver. Overall, I had a great experience and the food and service was on point. I would definitely recommend it. I plan to go back to try their other tasty delights.

Yelp
This used to be my go-to Thai spot for quite some time! The prices are reasonable, and the servers are always friendly. Be sure to start with the chicken satay and roti--deliciously grilled skewers paired with a tangy sauce. I always order the chicken Massaman curry (without peanuts), which is sweet, rich, and wonderfully creamy. It's one of my absolute favorites. And of course, don't forget the Thai iced tea!

Yelp
This restaurant has been in my neighborhood for quite a while and it is our first time here. It is located on main thoroughfare in Bayside. There is street parking at a parking lot behind the restaurant as well. The inside is spacious and nicely appointed. We took advantage of the lunch specials where there is a nice selection. Our entrées were tasty and good portion size. Service was friendly and efficient. Will definitely be back!
google avatar

Mizan R.

Yelp
I thought BK stood for Brooklyn but it was for Bangkok LOL! The entrance is lowkey so it is possible to miss but inside is lovely ambiance plenty of seating and good atmosphere. The service is fantastic everyone is very kind and helpful. they even helped change the spice level for our tomyum soup order it was thai hot and ridiculously too spicy to consume so don't do it the pad ke mao and paanang curry are the star of the show absolutely delicious and shareable portions. skip the soup and get the noodles and curry dish trust me. you might need more rice if you're sharing the thai iced tea is fine too A+ 9/10
google avatar

Mike M.

Yelp
The ambiance was pretty good although you do see holes and marks on the walls. It could use a little bit of love and facelift. The service was pretty good and attentive for the most part. There was only 2 or 3 times where we had to look for the waiter. The food tasted really good and fresh. I was full half way through my dish but it was so tasty I continued to eat until my plate was clean. I would definitely visit this place again
google avatar

Yelp
If you're planning on ordering take away from this place on any holiday forget it. What if people don't want to cook on the holiday (Mothers Day) for example and you just want someone else to do the cooking, have a family member pick it up and eat in the comfort of your own home you cant because BKNY doesn't do take away on holidays!!!!
google avatar

Marcia B.

Yelp
I've lived in the neighborhood for almost 14 years and this is not only my favorite restaurant but my go-to place! The food is always delicious and fresh, the service always provided with a smile and whenever I've made reservations, I've been seated almost immediately. Highly recommend this place to everyone and have in fact brought everyone here and we all love it!!
google avatar

Nicole S.

Yelp
Came here for the first time tonight and will definitely be back. We got the Thai spring rolls, crispy duck, green curry and pad Thai. All were delicious. It was my first time having duck other than Peking so I was pleasantly surprised with how good it was. We also got the fried ice cream which was good. The waiter was very nice and joked a bit with us. Definitely a good spot
google avatar

Yelp
Stopped by on a whim and happened to catch the lunch special (ends at 3:30). Order was taken quickly. Food was delicious and savory. Dumplings were good! I would stop by and try more options! Great lunch special - a spring roll is included.
google avatar

Estela D.

Yelp
Attended a private party in the back room. The room is big and well decorated with flowers on walls to ceilings. Service was attentive. For the party we were given menus to choose appetizers and main dish. The fried calamari was perfect. We also had the fried rice, noodles, pad Thai everything was really good. Their drinks were immaculate. We had piña coladas and margaritas.
google avatar

Juju W.

Yelp
Whew, that Pad Kew Mao was SPICY! My fault tho. When they asked how spicy I wanted it, I figured spicy meant- lo fan spicy. . Ask a canto what that means. I was schooled. It was delish tho. Apps of fried fish cakes and Spring rolls were obvi previously fried and therefore came out over fried. Oh well, can't have it all.
google avatar

Charles R.

Yelp
Just stopped in gor a quick meal and would love yo return again. Terrific cocktails and the best shrimp fried rice I've eaten. They have a very nice atmosphere and the staff is wonderful. I'll eat better and return soon its worth the trip.

Yelp
A staple of the community, BKNY does not disappoint. After all these years of coming here, there's nothing but great things to say the decor has not change much yet it's still great to see. Their food is always delicious and spot on. The service is phenomenal, everyone always so attentive and cordial. Would definitely keep coming back for my Thai cravings.

David G.

Yelp
We went there for lunch. The price for lunch is very reasonable! I ordered chicken and vegetables. The chicken was very poor quality. I even wondered if it was chicken the staff is very nice. The waiter was very nice. The food was so so the price was terrific. You get what you pay for there is free parking behind the restaurant I won't be coming back.

Colin C.

Yelp
It's a great place that is relaxed and the food is super delicious The staff there are helpful and the it can hold large groups.

Sonny P.

Yelp
Very nice, great lunch deals, astonishingly fresh ground spices, made every day. Service is quick. Soda is four dollars, but the lunch special is ten, best deal anywhere. Plenty of food. Tablecloth service.
google avatar

Kevin I.

Yelp
Don't believe in these 4 ,3,2,1 star reviews. If anything dem people have no taste. This spot provides high quality food with precise taste every single time. They never fail trust me . I have never had anything there that was too salty or too anything . Anytime I asked for something specific, every worker made it their duty to get it done . Best thai in queens.
google avatar

Sandy L.

Yelp
If you are looking for a quick Thai good craving fix, this is the place. Fried fish with chili sauce is my favorite. Pad Thai and papayas salad is a hit and miss depending on the chef's mood. The red curry never disappoints. The place decor is very pretty and their service is great. Too bad their food taste is not consistent.
google avatar

Jerry S.

Yelp
Delicious Chicken Satay and Thai Dumpling appetizers. Seafood Pad Ped and Kaeng Subparos(pineapple curry) for main courses, also delicious. My wife ordered a Tito's and soda and I got a Thai beer. I was very surprised that the Tito's and soda was $16 when the bill came. I didn't question it and left a nice tip anyway but now I know for next time to check the drink price when ordering. Overall we've been there many times, it's right in our neighborhood and we'll be back minus the Tito's.

Pete S.

Yelp
This is the best Thai restaurant in the Queens/Long Island area and I've been to quite a few. The food is excellent, service is good and the ambiance is pleasant.
google avatar

Michael J.

Yelp
Found this restaurant on the way back to Long Island from the city. It doesn't look like much from the outside. The inside is pretty large and can accommodate groups of 10+. I got the classic Thai fried rice and it was tasty. Also had good presentation. Food came out pretty quick. The servers were attentive.
google avatar

Sandy S.

Yelp
We have been coming here for the last 10 and it still is my favorite Thai restaurant. Authentic Thai flavors, friendly service, nice portions, great atmosphere are just some of the things that keep me coming back every week. The entrance is unassuming but you will walk into a large spacious place that you would not expect in Fresh Meadows Queens.
google avatar

Jess L.

Yelp
Our dishes were pretty average or a notch below average for the area. Their spiciness level was on point, so that's a big plus. However, the pad baby corn was very liquidy, and the dish was pretty meh, especially for the price. The sausage fried rice was spicy, as we requested, but the spiciness really masked any flavor. Lastly, the duck roll had a very odd wrapper, not like anything I've ever had with Thai food. For the price of the dishes, at least for delivery, I'd try someplace else.
google avatar

Lizcary A.

Yelp
This is one of the best Thai spots I've been to. We had chicken pad Thai, green curry, and fried ice cream for dessert. The service is also amazing, everyone is friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend if you're looking for Thai food in the area!
google avatar

Sydney C.

Yelp
Came here on a Thursday afternoon because it was across from H Mart; pretty empty Very nice open decor Comfortable booth seating Service was quick Got a lunch special for $10 ($12 for beef or seafood) Classic Thai fried rice pretty good, nothing special Pad see ew well flavored, beef is juicy The lunch special comes with a spring roll - it's filled with a medley of vegetables- not my favorite Overall, a decent meal for a decent price
google avatar

Yelp
BKNY THAI is a hidden gem. The food is tasty and the service is really great. The waiters and waitresses are attentive. I went with my kids after a movie trip and they wanted something different. I found BKNY on my favorite go to website - say it with me, "YELP"! The curry my daughter ordered was good, she loved the sticky rice and spices. My son enjoyed the food - chicken wings with pineapple rice. He asked if we could come after the movies and we've been there once again for the same orders. Yet again no complaints and their belly's were full. I think we'll make this our go to after the movies at AMC fresh meadows location - 10 mins away. We always leave with plenty of leftovers so for me it's PERFECT! One issue I had was I ordered two orders of wings and they brought two orders on one plate. The wings looked like they got mugged- extra small. I told the waiter that's not what I ordered and he said he would speak to the cook. He came back and apologized but wasn't able to give extra wings. I'm only bringing it up so it doesn't happen to another Yelper or other guest reading this post. . ENJOY!

Yelp
As someone who enjoys Thai cuisine, I find this restaurant's food exceptional. Their fried ice cream is to die for! The staff was very respectful and ensured that everyone at my table was happy. The service was excellent, and while the decor was simple, it felt cozy. Overall, I would definitely return to this establishment and recommend it to my friends.
google avatar

Evelyn Z.

Yelp
The restaurant provides a great selection of items to choose from. The appetizers and entrees that my friends and I ordered were all very yummy. The place was nicely decorated with many flower arrangements and other details. The staff was welcoming and accommodating upon arrival. Overall, such a great experience and would recommend!
google avatar

M P.

Yelp
Went for lunch on a Thursday just as they were opening. We were greeted warmly and sat at a booth. This place has a lot of booths which makes for a cozy feel. The food was really good; the roti appetizer was amazing! The bread was perfectly crisp and chewy at the same time and the curry sauce was excellent!! We also got the calamari, pad thai, and a pork dish (I forget which one). All was good - the calamari was crunchy goodness.

Jul. C.

Yelp
Have been coming here for a while now and definitely would recommend this place. I usually get the Pad See Ew. I also tried most of their appetizers and the ones I really liked are Thai vegetable cake, Thai spring rolls and the crispy calamari. Service is good also good.
google avatar

Ashley F.

Yelp
I am obsessed with this restaurant. Ever since I visited, I have not stopped thinking about their food. When I visited, I ordered the roti chicken massaman curry for the table as an appetizer, as well as the chicken pad see ew and Thai iced tea. The curry appetizer was the perfect size for two people. It came stocked with all the same ingredients as the entree massaman curry, and was essentially just a mini form of the entree. The roti it came with tasted light, fresh, and delicious. The Thai iced tea was pretty standard, but also very tasty. For the entree, they let you choose the spice level you like. I ordered my pad see ew at medium spice level and it was the perfect level of spicy to enjoy all the flavors but still feel a little heat. The service is friendly, and I've had good luck with parking in the area. If you're looking for casual Thai food where you can enjoy the dine in experience, definitely give this place a try!
google avatar

Victoria F.

Yelp
I Love this place with all my heart! Best Thai in the neighborhood! My family and I go at least once a month! I had my baby shower here! Only go Thai spicy if you can handle it! Large space that can accommodate large groups and seating is pretty spaced out so it's comfortable for families! Staff is also amazing and get the kids their special cups and plates (paper so nothing breaks ) Ambiance is maculate! Plenty of room if you have a stroller! We always get the same stuff, the pad gra prow noodles with veggie duck, the pad gra prow fried rice with crispy pork, the calamari, and the wings! It is always good and consistent! The veggie cakes are also super good and crispy! The Tom yum soup is so comforting on a cold day, and their thai ice tea is always refreshing! For dessert, the fried ice cream and home made ice cream is amazing! If I could give this place 6 stars I would!
google avatar

John J.

Yelp
This is a great local Thai restaurant, been coming for years and still going. Food is always on point and has great taste. Service is always very good and place is well kept and spacious. Man we always order so much when coming here because everything is really good. A lot of Thai restaurants are normally smaller and tight. This place is huge. I like how also most employees seem to be Thai which I think is always nice. Portion sizes are always good. Price wise I think they are pretty fair as far as Thai food goes. They have a nice sized menu and lots to offer. Nice that they also have a bar with beers and cocktails. If around I would say for sure stop by and give them a try, you will not be disappointed.
google avatar

Tony M.

Yelp
Was hungry and wanted to eat some good Thai food and was in the neighborhood decided to eat at BKNY. Of course not the first time to the rodeo. Really enjoy this place. Great atmosphere, wonderful service and fabulous food. Like always will go again.

Yelp
Nice restaurant for decent Thai food. We had appetizers, pad Thai, basil duck and pineapple fried rice. You can request the level of spice desired. They also have a tray of spices at the table. If you like it hot, you can add that extra kick! The wait staff was not very attentive but it you can hail them over, all is fine. The restaurant is elegantly decorated for a party or a cozy date. The place has a circular bar area. They offer takeout as well. Worth coming back!
