Best Coffee not just in Lagos but in Portugal, they also have the best Choc Chip Cookie I have tried. Must have if you in Lagos and want good coffee or pastries, wish we found this sooner. Highly recommend, just reminds me of Australian cafes. They speak great English and the prices are reasonable. nice walkable location in Lagos, very busy so get there early or be prepared to wait. You forget good coffee when you travel until you come here

Loving this amazing Brunch Spot!
Came back twice on two consecutive days, just shows how the food has managed to hit the right spots in the foodie me! Poached eggs were made to perfection! And that amazing homemade Pistachio pesto was out of the world! Many thanks to Jessica and Erina for their amazing service and it made the whole experience complete ❤️

We visited Black and White on a rainy Monday while heading to Faro Airport. Despite being packed, the friendly staff helped us reserve a table, and we were seated within 10 minutes. The coffee and alcoholic kombucha (6%) were excellent, while our kids loved the rich hot chocolate and thick, topping-loaded pancake. The service was warm and efficient, and the cozy atmosphere made it a perfect stop. Highly recommended for a quick bite or drink in Lagos!

Ordered 2 Royal breakfasts meals, hot chocolate and cappuccino. $31. Reasonable price. Good service and cozy atmosphere in Old Town Lagos.

Exceptional coffee and great pastries in the takeaway section, the pancakes were really nice in the restaurant. The bakery around the corner is more authentic Portugal, but well worth visiting if you like coffee or the Aussie style of brunch. There was a bit of a wait for a table at the restaurant but well worth it.

Visited here on a weekday afternoon. The waitress greeted us at the door and took us to a table. She was very friendly.
My partner had a flat white and I had an iced latte. The coffee was strong in flavour but wasn’t bitter and had good body. The chosen blend was great and enjoyable.
We shared a white chocolate and miso cookie and a twice baked chocolate and almond croissant.
The cookie was delicious, a more New York style with a crispy bottom and soft centre. The miso flavour could have been stronger but overall a very enjoyable bake.
The chocolate and almond croissant was divine. A good amount of almond paste and chocolate in the centre paired with a light crisp croissant and crunchy almond topping. It was the best almond croissant we have both ever had.
Everything was great value for money, the 2 coffees and sweet treats came to €13.
Overall, a lovely place for coffee, cake and food. The staff are friendly, the place had a great vibe and serves excellent and delicious food and drink. I would recommend visiting here when in Lagos or making a special journey when in the Algarve.

Really great food, got both a savory and sweet (Eton mess pancake and breakfast burrito) and both were amazing. Not too heavy or overly sweet. Coffee was great as well. Highly recommend. We came around 1030 and the wait was around 15min but we noticed after 11 the queue picked up and the wait was longer. No reservations but they will take your name and let you know how many are ahead of you.
