Love this spot ! Seriously some of the best pastries I’ve ever had ! The coffee is good too! Just a really good vibe . We went there every morning on our trip there! 🩷ordered a king cake to take home & it was very yummy! the danishes are the best! Can’t wait to go back!

We drove by the Seaside location. Line out the door. Over an hour wait. We drove down 30A to the Grayton location and there was a short line PTL. Amazing bakery. Good choices. Hot breakfast options. We asked for a pump of French vanilla for our coffee. No flavor 😢. Seating available inside and out. And next door. Lots of shops in the area. Parking is limited but there is a $5 (first 4 hours) lot less than 50 yds from location. Atmosphere is nice but a little uppity. Love the glass shop 2 doors down!!!

Black Bear Bread Co. in Grayton Beach is undefeated. My son refuses to order anything but the French toast, and honestly, I cannot blame him. I usually go for the turkey bacon and cheese, then balance out my masculinity with a jasmine honeysuckle tea. The coffee is perfect every time, strong and smooth with that roasted flavor that hits just right. You can smell the fresh bread when you walk in, the staff is always chill, and the food stays consistent every single visit. One of the best breakfast and lunch spots on 30A, casual, local, and never lets you down.

Really great place to stop and grab coffee or meet your friends. The selection of pastries is wonderful. I had a little Ham and Cheese pastry with a small hot latte. Place is usually busy, but worth the wait. We managed to stop by on a quiet Friday morning. Totally recommend this awesome place!

Found this spot on a whim while searching for a quick breakfast stop on our way out of town. The pastries were not only beautiful but delicious. The serving sizes are quite large and are guaranteed to fill you up. The coffee menu was also wonderful. Lots of room to sit either inside or out. We will be back!

We stopped here a few times during our Florida vacation. The food is good, I think my favorite item was the morning bun - it's a bit like a deep fried croissant in the shape of a roll covered in sugar. Pricing is quite expensive.

Had to make 2 trips during our vacation because it was that good! Even as busy as they were, the food and coffee came out at a decent speed, and everything was hot and delicious. They had a fabulous array of pastries and food. I only wish they had sugar free syrups for coffee!

The food was tasty and the coffee was good. They have some unique coffee flavors on their board. I had one with lavender that was very nice.

I've had the food before - pretty good! I do remember it being on the pricier end - but welcome to 30A! Coffee was good too! One thing I can't get over is the "service charge" and then asking for a tip afterwards. Last time I ordered - I got 1 single thing - a coffee to go. What service charge was needed??

Bacon-egg-cheese (BEC) (choice of breads!) and BLT sandwiches were good. Benton's bacon is phenomenal. Fruit danish was good, served room temp. Only thing that came to table promptly (because they handed it to us immediately). Blueberry muffin was amazing. I don't know if the secret was the flour or butter or blueberries but yum yum! Cinnamon roll was good but didn't get delivered with the rest of the food. I don't know if they forgot or gave our order to someone else or if cinnamon rolls take longer than everything else. Long line to get in was tolerable. Seating was available indoors and outdoors and inside in an attached space. Serving food for all but one guest was disappointing. We had to wait more than 15 minutes after the other food came to the table. I understand it's the summer, but reheating a baked good isn't complicated. Oh. My. Word. This place is AMAZING! Warm, welcoming vibes the moment you walk in - and the homemade pastries are next level! The cold brew was spot-on, just how I ordered. Whether it's the Almond Croissant, Key Lime Croissant or the Lemon-Blueberry Scone, every bite was a hit. Worth the stop!

Delicious food. Peaceful atmosphere. Excellent service. We also ordered two iced coffees. The beekeeper and the Tanline and both were delicious and hit the spot.

Everything your tastebuds desire and more! Pastries and robust-flavored coffee were our choice, but they also offer breakfast bowls and other substantial and even healthy items. Staff is friendly and attentive. Icing on the cake when visiting 30A - a few locations to choose from.

This coffee shop has it all! They offer pastries, breads, muffins, cookies, and more. I saw on TikTok that the cookies were amazing and they definitely didn't disappoint. So soft and fresh! The staff was friendly and the atmosphere is great. There's plenty of seating inside and out, plus a small parking lot in the front

This place was so good we went back multiple times during our trip to 30A. We initially came here for their sourdough loaf and it was great! They run out quick in the day so get there early. They also have specialty breads that are like a "flavor of the day" so you never know what you might find here. They also have tons of pastries and their coffee is good too. The second time we came we dined in, with their additional space across the courtyard and outdoor seating in the courtyard (this side has couches and tables), you never have to worry about finding a place to sit. Also, a lot of people get their orders to go. I got the ham and cheese baguette and it was great! The water is self serve and the staff is friendly. We'll be back!

Visited Black Bear Bread and will admit I didn't look to see the closing time on the door. Really wish someone would have said "we close in a few minutes". No. They let 6 of us order, and start to receive drinks. When the last person in our party tried to order, the cashier told her no. She didn't walk in after us - she was in line with us. Again, just tell us when we started to order that they wouldn't be happy to serve all of us. In addition, not to be petty, but the lattes were just ok. Nothing special in the least.

Very limited in Gluten-free options. Only one flavor of a muffin today - Raspberry Peach. I will say it was really good. Many options for different coffees although I opted for a nitro cold brew with coconut milk also very good. Very friendly staff very clean environment. Not cheap for a muffin and a small coffee.

Loved the ambiance at Black Bear Bread, it is such a cute location. The food was good and the coffee was great. I ordered the shakshouka, which can be hard to find on a menu in the FL panhandle, and was definitely pleased with my choice. I also tried the Bear Latte, it was delicious, if I lived closer, I would stop by just for the coffee. My mom had the French toast which was beautiful to look at, along with a latte that she really enjoyed. I bought some pastries to take home and highly recommend the fruit danish and lemon blueberry scone. It is a little pricey but we enjoyed our visit.

Wow! I don't think there could be a more perfect coffee shop / brunch spot in Santa Rosa. Black Bear Bread Co is exactly the type of coffee shop you want to have coffee and breakfast at before having a nice, slow morning on the beach. It is absolutely stunning on the inside and has the most calming vibes! We got two lattes, a French toast, and a lemon cheese danish. The French toast did take some time to make, but totally worth it!! Everything was so good and the coffee hit the spot. Food recs: lavender iced latte, French toast, baked goods!

Just let me start with this, there is good reason there is a line at Black Bear most mornings! I recently visited the 30A area on a bachelorette trip and the Bride decided Black Bear Bread was at the top of her list of places to visit. We were hesitant to wait when we saw the line, but we were so glad we stuck it out! Everything we ordered from the coffees to pastries to breakfast sandwiches were amazing! My personal favorite was the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on their homemade sourdough bread! We loved Black Bear so much, we drove out of our way to visit it a second time on our four day trip. Make sure you add this to your must do list if you are visiting the 30A area!

Adorable place to stop for coffee and breakfast. There was a small line out the door shortly after they opened on Friday morning, so I can imagine the line grows as the morning goes on. I absolutely loved the coffee special: The Tan Line, which was an almond milk latte with mocha. I also had the banana sourdough toast, which was great. It had a nice spice and great crunch from the pecans, and the sourdough was the best part. The chocolate croissant was okay--a bit greasy for me, and the sausage biscuit sandwich that my husband had lacked flavor. I would stick with their speciality while here: anything on bread!

My family and I went here for breakfast. When we first came there was a line out the door which was fine, do we waited. It was busy inside with lots of loud noise from all the people. We ordered our food, none of which came out at the same time. We sat outside and the table and chairs were slightly dirty. We got the fruit danish first because it wasn't heated. Then we waited for around 7 minutes for our first round of food. But I ordered a cinnamon roll the came out almost 20 minutes after we sat down. I asked for it to be heated up but it was already baked that morning. The cinnamon roll was tasty, it was very sweet in the center with the outer parts of it having random bits of salt that I feel like were not dispersed properly.

Awesome local coffee spot. I have been here several times. Lemon blueberry scone is scrumptious. Cafe temperature a bit chilly. Bring a sweater if you plan on sitting inside. Many alternative milk options. Well done.

Great food and perfect breakfast spot. I had the seasonal breakfast bowl scrable and did disappoint. I paired it with a orange juice and iced Chai latte. Wife have the B.E.C. on everything bagel. Yummy

Such a cute little place. I love how all the businesses are like little houses in all different colors side by side. Not really in the need for sweets that day but had to try. The menu is pretty similar daily, but they drop in a few new items here and there each day. I got lucky and got the last key lime croissant. I wasn't sure what it was going to be but happily surprised. Topped with a meringue and filled with key lime. The croissant itself was perfectly flaky. I was secretly hoping it was key lime flavored and drizzled with a powdered sugar dressing. The inside curd was a little rich for what I was in the mood for. Overall great stop. Check 'em out. They have bread and coffee too. They did have sprinkle cookies that day we just really didn't need anymore and honestly I was stressed after I realized I paid $15 for a muffin and a croissant. We also got a Lemon poppyseed muffin. This was my #1 pick of the two. So soft and melty. I would grab one of those next time easily.

Love this place! Plan on spending a minute in line- really worth it. I wish there was a better online ordering system but I'm always happy with what we get!

Staff was so kind and helpful and the food and coffee was divine. I got the cream cheese danish, blueberry muffins, and everything bagel with cream cheese. Everything is obviously and deliciously homemade and so incredibly tasty. I would go out of my way to go again.

Black Bear Bread is a cute little brunch spot in Grayton Beach near a bunch of art galleries. There is seating inside and outside the restaurant but it is very small. Parking is very limited as well. There's a free parking lot right in front of the place but it gets busy. The food was very delicious here! I got the bagel and lox board for $18. It's on the pricier side for a bagel with salmon and cream cheese but it did taste very good. The staff was nice. I would recommend this place to other people.

Very good coffee. The pastries are incredible. The croissants that are stuffed are definitely worth the calories. The staff are very nice and it is a quiet place to chill. I'll definitely come back.

Cereal milk latte iced 10/10. Service is incredible and so fast. Love seeing all the pastries and options coming out!

Pretty good little breakfast spot. I ordered a loaf of bread. Probably wouldn't get a loaf again, wasn't my favorite. Other than that, we enjoyed the food. Chai latte was very good.

This place is fantastic!! We went there twice on our vacation and we enjoyed both of our visits. I especially recommend the breakfast sandwiches--I got the Paris on a biscuit, my husband got it on a bagel--both were perfect. I really appreciated that the egg was nice and jammy/ a little runny and fresh. My absolute favorite from our trips there, though, was the lemon poppyseed muffin. I always tease my husband that he is an old man because he tends to order things like that which seem more old-fashioned to me. That muffin makes a convert of me, though. The lemon is so freshly tart, and every single bite of the pastry is just as soft and moist as the last. We're from the Atlanta area and we have a lot of great bakeries, but I would put the lemon poppyseed muffin from Black Bear up against anything from back home.

Went here to grab some breakfast treats for the family on a rainy morning. The main person running the register was training a newer person and seemed more interested in training than taking my order. I finally got attention and place an order for the granola (best item) ,4 pastries (all were way too sugary and sweet) , oatmeal (nothing special), Chai latte and a plain oat milk latte. After I received my items in multiple separate boxes..I was not offered a box or a bag of any sort-/had to ask multiple times--the bakery was empty. Overall--the lack of customer service and mediocrity of the food and drink is such a turn off. Will not return.

Amazing coffee! The signature lattes are to die for. The prices are decent and the staff is super friendly. The interior is pretty small but nice outdoor deck area of tables.

Automatic tip for ordering at the counter and they drop it on your table. Expensive! A croissant with a thin slice of ham and a thin slice of cheese and 12oz plain coffee $22.56. No special ambience looking at a parking lot. Not exceptional enough to warrant the price.

Breakfast was fabulous. Freshly baked butter milk biscuit with bacon egg and cheese. A fiend had the sausage egg and cheese biscuit. Equally as good. Did not have to wait long for these breakfast sandwiches. We shared an almond croissant and a lemon poppy muffin. I almost forgot the cheese Danish. It was great

Great choices of pastries and coffee! We drove down from Gulf Place and it was worth the short drive! Cute shop. Very clean. Service was quick and efficient!

We ordered the Cinnamon Roll and the Bacon Egg and Cheese Sandwich. The Sandwich wasn't anything special. The amount of Egg and Bacon was pretty light, but other than that, it was fine. The cinnamon roll was delicious though, the icing was especially tasty. We also got some coffee drinks and they were great.

Locations usually dirty with crumbs on floor and dirty dishes on the tables. Kids working there instead cleaning windows instead of reinforcing hygene. Use carton eggs supper expensive for little bowl portions. Coffee ok but cleaner and better at Amavida and much much cheaper at Big Bad Breakfast where fried eggs are superbl!

With limited breakfast choices, Black Bear didn't have to be great to survive, but they went ahead and did it anyway. Food Food options are somewhat limited if you're looking for a traditional breakfast. The bakery takes the ordinary and make them "extra" in all the right ways. Coffee The Stumptown - Hair Bender brew is as sweet and balanced as advertised. It's worth an extra trip to the counter over and over again. Ambiance The place is smallish which helps it maintain its authenticity. It is everything you'd hoe for in a hometown breakfast stop at the beach or Colorado mountains. Service Ordering at the counter could be better. The servers seemed great when dealing with tables. Unfortunately, they picked the one guy with zero personality or care to run the register, which is a miss.

I would highly recommend stopping here for breakfast! The food was great and the staff were super helpful! I will for sure be back to Black Bear!

Nice! The service was good, the workers were really helpful and accommodating to my drink order. The food came out fast - I had the ham and egg croissant (no cheese) and it was yummy and filling! The iced dirty chai was yummy. My friend got the chocolate croissant, wasn't amazing but still would get the scone and cinnamon bun. The place itself in Grayton is tiny but with outdoor seating - although it was pretty hot so inside was the best option, it just gets a little stuffy but nothing to worry about too much. Cool place !

Bread? When you ask someone from Destin what they mean by bread, you will likely be pointed to a Sunbeam brand squishy material sold at grocery stores, a Wonder brand hamburger bun made out of low grade tire rubber spray painted white or another item of similar item that lines a Winn Dixie shelf. Now, this is not to put the people of Destin into a bad light, but it's the reality that most residents of the panhandle and visitors from southern states grew up with. The concept of bread was lost in America in the middle of 20th century through the introduction of other odd creations by Sunbeam, Nature's Own, Wonder and countless other brands that marketed their rubbery, elastic factory product as bread. Over the recent decade, Destin has undergone a huge transformation and Black Bear is part of that beautiful movement. There are now good hotels to stay in, several great restaurants where to eat and places like this. The bread his composed of 3-4 ingredients here, is crusty, wholesome and aromatic. It is world class. The sandwiches, despite being pricey, are absolutely delicious. Even examples like the Bahn Mi may not be traditional in the type of thicker bread used, are simply amazing. The kale sandwich, the croissants and the lattes, all are made with attention and bursting with flavor. One thing to keep in mind is that this is not a cheap place. This level of quality and quickness spoil has a price, so expect to be paying $15-$20 just for a sandwich. With that said, it's absolutely worth it.

Black Bear bread makes some great bread and some great breakfasts. We stopped in on a recent weekday and the line was not too bad (but by the time we received our order the line was waaay out the door as they are VERY popular). We ordered the Country Sourdough Tartine and the Daily Special Tartine. The Sourdough Tartine is toasted sourdough served with butter and house made jam. Their sourdough is fantastic. The butter wasn't necessary as the bread came buttered. And the jam was tasty. The Special Tartine had eggs, salami and cheese on sourdough and it was wonderful! I couldn't help myself when I saw the cinnamon roll in a pan by the counter, so I had to get one. I was asked if I wanted it heated and the person working the counter said if we were eating there, then we definitely wanted it heated. He wasn't wrong: it was delicious! Their Holler Mountain blend coffee was perfect. They have a lot of seating outdoors in front, so you can watch the world go by, and in back. They have some seating inside. And when you order you will pick up your own drinks but they will bring your food to you. When I'm back in the area, they are definitely on my list of must stop places.

I loved this coffee shop! It's so cute and there were so many people inside on a 9AM Thursday. I ordered a vanilla iced latte with oat milk, and it was delicious. It was creamy with the right amount of vanilla flavoring. My friend ordered the fruit tart, and that was yummy. The only complaint I have is that they're not very consistent with their drinks. My friends ordered hazelnut lattes and iced vanilla lattes, but they did not taste good at all. Only my drink came out well.

Better location than in town. The staff are equally friendly but the queue in town is ridiculous and multiple coffee orders were wrong at the register. Sooo, you want great, fast and lovely service, Logan Lane location is for you. YOU MUST order the Ricotta French toast. If you're not a bread person, then you will become a bread person because the pain, the upset stomach is all worth the flavours and food combo with this French toast. Heaps of indoor/outdoor seating. For a later snack, don't forget to pick up a delicious "blueberry scone" they're to die for.

If you go here you'll meet compassionate employees and eat delicious food/pastries! I hear their coffee is great too! The employees we talked with were so kind and recommended great pastries :) They also asked how we were and asked how our time was going which I appreciated. The pastries we had were both croissant like and me and my bf devoured them so I don't have pictures haha. When I come back, I'll definitely come earlier to try their other baked goods!

Black Bear Bread Co looks great when you walk in, as there is a large display of baked goods behind the counter. I ordered a latte and a breakfast sandwich that had ham and egg on a croissant. The seating is limited in here as it's very small, and seems to be set up best for carry out. My breakfast sandwich was not what I expected, the croissant and ham were cold while the egg was hot; I had assumed the entire breakfast sandwich would be warm. Others in our group had the same issue where only the egg was warm on sandwiches. My husband got some baked goods, and said those were good.
