Black Bear Burger - Shoreditch

Ok guys hear me out. This is the best burger i’ve had in my life, hands down. So juicy, so tasty, a real burst of flavors. I had the Double Miso Bacon Burger and from the very first bite it was clear why it’s an award winning burger. Fries were excellent as well! Don’t skip this place cause it’s pure magic

Very good burger. We got there at opening time and were alone for the most part. The food came quick amd was well worth their good reviews. I can't say what it will be like when its busy.

Shockingly bad. Please see pic - yes the chips were as old tasting, over cooked and as gross as they look and yes the burger as also burnt, chewy and just awful. I’m shocked the kitchen sent this to a paying customer. Absolutely awful. The kitchen staff actually saw those chips and packed them up to send via Deliveroo. Waste of money

Visited as I saw that the miso burger was voted national burger of the year — but it was pretty disappointing. Patty was thin and hardly satisfying.

Came here to try National Burger Award winning Double Miso Bacon Burger. It was delicious. The steakhouse rub chips were a little too salty. The burger place is a stand at the Boxpark food court and it was a Saturday evening, so it was loud and bustling, somewhat affecting my enjoyment of my delicious burger. Overall, I would eat again!

Really nice smokey juicy beef burger and well done homemade fries. Definitely recommended and coming back again!

The burger is on a tiny side. To compare, it is smaller than 5 Guys' - Little cheese burger. Taste good with blue cheese though. I like the fries. Their contact less payment is not working so I was asked to order online, which is fine but they also asked me to pick up when ready, although you were asked for your table number during ordering. Weird. Not sure if I will be back. Maybe

Black Bear Burger at Shoreditch Boxpark is a must-visit for burger lovers! Both the standard and steak rub fries were great, and pairing them with garlic mayo was a 10/10 (though that’s personal preference). I got the Double Black Bear burger, and it was amazing—though I didn’t request well-done, and it was a little pinker than I expected. Next time, I’d definitely ask for well-done. My partner had The Classic and requested well-done, but it was just as pink as mine, so I’m not sure if that made a difference or if we just got unlucky. Either way, both burgers were delicious, and we’d absolutely go back! The real highlight for me was the Korean BBQ wings—top-tier, easily my favorite part of the meal. If you love burgers, wings, and fries, you won’t be disappointed!

My friend and I were at Shoreditch Boxpark to watch the World Cup and we recognized Black Bear Burger from one of the episodes on Million Pound Menu so we decided to try it! We both tried The Black Bear, which sounds like their original burger. It has an aged beef patty, american cheese, onion jam, bacon and garlic mayo. It's a pretty meaty and messy burger but I loved it. The patty was so tender and juicy and the onion jam was delicious. I could've skipped the bacon though as there was a bit too much going on. My friend didn't like it as much as he thought the onion jam was too overpowering and the burger lacked crunch (agreed with this one). The buttermilk fried chicken nuggets were really delicious paired with the buffalo and blue cheese sauces. If only they used chicken thighs and not breast, it would've been a lot more tender and flavorful. Fries were also a must. These had the skin-on and were crispy to the last fry. It'd be hard not to have this again the next time I'm at Boxpark!

I was in London for work in May 2018 and I STILL think about this burger! It's really one of the best burgers I've ever had. That burger meat was so well flavored and everything on it was perfectly seasoned. Seriously​ over a year later. I want to go back to London JUST to have another.

Best burger I've had. I had the black bear burger doubled up, with nuggets on the side and shared some fries with the steak rub The burger was delicious. Quality beef, and the bun didn't fall apart but lasted until the end The chicken nuggets were delicious, soft and tender. The chips were also lovely. I'm looking forward to going again!
