"Wander the Walkway at Black Dwarf Cave Black Dwarf Cave (also known as Black Ghost Cave) is located on Xiao Liuchiu's west coast. It's more of a walkway through a maze of precipitous lava rock formations than a tunnel into a cliff like one normally expects of a cave. The cave has a morbid history; more than three hundred aboriginals were burned alive here by the Dutch during their occupation of Taiwan . The cave, however, is beautiful, with several vistas like the one pictured here overlooking the Taiwan Strait."

Not quite the cave I was expecting but you can enjoy scenery of sea upclose by going through the path created between the cliff and the rocks. Also you can enter other cave spots with just one ticket payment. You just need to get your ticket ticked by the ticket office before entering the site after first purchase of the ticket.

This is my favorite cave. You can enjoy a long walk with a view of the sea and boulders. Near the exit, there is a small gallery of wood sculptures and food stands. And a cave that you need a flashlight to explore. It's full of mosquitoes, so be prepared. I went there on a Saturday at 8 am and by 9:30 am it was full of loud tourists. Outside there are also a couple more food stands and a big restaurant.

Surprisingly great! The main devil cave has such a long queue, we decided to explore the other areas, it was way quieter and was much more worth it. The areas are well maintained, the caves were spectacular as well and the ticket price of $120 could be used for 4 places on the island. A must come when in 小琉球

Very scenic spot where you can enjoy the sea view and the small cave walk. We felt this was the most scenic and enjoyable spot amongst the 3 paid attractions that you can visit with your ticket. Take note that they close at 5 so, unlikely you'll be able to catch the sunset from this spot.

Area of caves with a dark history. The paths can be very narrow and low however they aren’t long, just a few metres and you’re out the other side. The main attraction here though are the viewing platforms. From here we could see wild sea turtles swimming in the sea! There is an area selling food and drink if needed and toilets available.

The entrance to the cave is very very tight. Not recommended for old or very young kids. It’s dark so need a torch to see where you going. Apart from the cave itself the trail path that runs along the coast is nice with some look out decks situated for viewers.
