These Are the Best Spirits and Cocktails to Try This Fall

"Monkey 47 Gin is distilled in Germany's Black Forest and incorporates 47 botanicals that include pine, lavender, almond, coriander, lemon verbena, ginger, nutmeg, lingonberries, and more, creating a complex flavor that's been described as herbal, earthy, floral, woody, and spicy. The 47 also refers to its 47% ABV, ideal for cocktails like the traditional gin and tonic or martini." - Travel + Leisure Editors

Great to see where the wunderbar Monkey 47 gin is made. Marvelous experience at one of the most beautiful distilleries in Germany. The staff is super friendly and is more than happy to show you every step of the process.

Great products and tour! The tour guide did a great job. The facility is really neat to visit. Pretty scenery as in the mountains so that requires to drive some distance to make it there. Like previous reviews, you don't really feel very welcome though. It was raining a lot and they make you wait in front of a locked gate outside the property with a small sign "tour meeting point", no cover for rain. Then we went in and were packed in a cold open house for another 20 minutes. Maybe we could have waited in the store? At the end of the tour, we could taste however their credit card machine wouldn't work and we didn't have cash so we couldn't buy anything which was disappointing... wish they would have had an alternative for cards payments.

I love Monkey 47 but when I came here they were very unpleasant and I was not allowed to buy any gin. Don't come here, go to your local store instead.
