First time at the Black Goose Cafe and they did not disappoint! Where do I start? The iced chai latte was the best I’ve tried thus far! The food was amazing the panini Margherita was superb! But my favorite was the spanakopita yummm 😋 If you’re in town make sure to stop by this cafe!

This little mom & pop restaurant goes beyond just a sandwich shop, offering fresh grain bowls, açai bowls, and plenty of gluten-free options—all in a beautiful waterfront setting. The atmosphere was just as great as the food! Absolutely looking forward to coming back (and highly recommend getting Buddha bowl)

Unfortunately, I almost got into an accident trying to get into the parking lot, but that’s an issue with the road not the establishment. They do have a cramped parking lot the time I came which only allows for pull-in parking. That makes pulling out to leave really tricky I only ordered the bubble milk tea but looking forward to trying the food some other time (when I have the courage to dive into the parking lot again). Bubble tea was all dairy free which was wonderful for me as a lactose intolerant person. For a place that doesn’t specialize in bubble tea, I was pleasantly surprised with how good it was! The tapioca pearls were slightly hard but it wasn’t a deal breaker for me. Atmosphere was lovely, and staff were nice.

We came in on a Saturday for lunch and there was about a 10-15 min wait to order. Then there was another 15-20 wait for the food to come to the table. The food was delicious!

Google
Stopped here for lunch. One of the few places open for Easter. And the menu is pretty good. Pink rock salt on the table is a great accent too. Cozy place

Google
A small group of us were looking for somewhere nice to go after doing some wedding dress shopping. The Black Goose was highly recommended and It did not disappoint. Many thanks to Landry for making our first visit an amazing one! The food was spectacular. We will be back.

Google
Cute atmosphere to grab a bite to eat. I love local cafes. My son and I went to have some lunch and we were not disappointed. The staff is very friendly and the food was great. They customized his sandwich and the cook Bailey even came out to check on it. Thank you Bailey and staff for a great experience.

Google
Black Goose Café is a fantastic spot for breakfast! The menu offers plenty of delicious options, but the Eggs Benedict is hands-down my favorite. It’s consistently cooked to perfection, with a perfect balance of flavors—the hollandaise is rich and velvety, and everything is beautifully plated. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, making it the perfect place to start your day. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a flavorful and satisfying breakfast!

Yelp
The sandwich was fantastic, the bread was so fresh, and the service was first rate. I would highly recommend

Yelp
Cafe with amazing views, indoor and outdoor seating available. Large menu with varieties of pastries, coffees, teas, sandwiches, bowls, and more. Everything came out delicious and we enjoyed sitting outside on the patio for a while with friends. Definitely recommend!

Yelp
Terrible. Overpriced. $9 for a bacon egg and cheese but if you want that on anything other than white bread it's an extra $2. The bacon looked and tasted like leather. Egg was microwaved and looked like styrofoam. Tasted horrible. All show, no flavor. Will be recommending this place to people I despise.

Yelp
Went to Black Goose Cafe today on the recommendation of someone in a sangwich group. I got the Parisian: grilled chicken breast, caramelized onions, herb cheese spread, provolone, and baby spinach. This normally comes on country white bread but I substituted multigrain for no extra charge. It was $9.95 before tax. I rate this 8.3/10. I rate my sangwiches from a rubric of three standards: taste, eatability and texture. Taste 8/10. Overall a delicious sandwich. Good balance in toppings, the herb spread was tasty. Me personally, I needed something tangy/acidic to cut thru the richness of this beauty (do you see the cheese pull in the photo??). That and a little heat, so maybe a house hot sauce I could buy on the side would do the trick. Eatability 8/10. A little herb spread dripped out, but had no issues keeping clean while eating with the paper in my lap. However, I took out most of the spinach in one bite on one of the halves. Texture: 9/10. Not all their sandwiches are paninis but I highly recommend you get one. The crunch on this was incredible and it helped balance the creaminess of the insides. The multigrain is extra good this way, the press toasts the seeds on top Other things to note: decent menu with mix of cold and hot sandwiches, wraps, salads and Buddah bowls. This Cafe offers a variety of espresso drinks AND BOBA (which I was thrilled to find!) Customer service was a little cold at first, they didn't greet me when I arrived and kind of ignored me until they served me. But once they said hi, they were very sweet and gave good service. GORGEOUS view of the water and they have a patio on the side to enjoy both your order and the view. Parking was easy enough out front but could be tricky if they're terribly busy. I believe on the street parking is also available. I'm definitely coming back, this is right down the road from work

Yelp
Food was so good. Landry made such a positive environment and made me and my friends feel so welcomed and it was a great experience

Yelp
Another adorable coastal cafe in Tiverton! One thing about me: I WILL find all the coffee shops. Black Goose Cafe is a quaint spot with a nice patio to enjoy the incredible views. The inside is tiny but bright and inviting. The menu is plentiful for a small cafe, I was impressed! We came in the AM, so I went the breakfast route and ordered the Huevos Rancheros Wrap. The sun dried tomato wrap was made with scrambled eggs, salsa, avocado, sour cream, tomato, and cheese. It wasn't listed on the menu, but there were actually black beans mixed in there as well. I don't like beans, but this wrap was bombbb, so I didn't even care! Everything was super fresh, flavorful, and filling. I washed it down with a fresh OJ, so yummy! Loved this spot. Hope to be lucky enough to be in the area again and come back one day!

Yelp
It's okay. Stay away from entrees and stick to the sandwiches. The stuffed French toast was bad, but my friend had a great sandwich. We were slightly turned off by the owner/manager. There was one employee working her butt off and he was walking around outside shooting the breeze with the regulars. Maybe if he was monitoring the quality of went out and made sure his staff wasn't overworked my meal would have been better.

Yelp
The sandwiches are amazing. Haven't tried the ramen yet, but it looks delish too. I had always passed by, but only recently stopped. With Simmons in Adamsville closed for so long, this is a great alternative! Maybe even better.

Yelp
The only good thing about this place was seeing an actual black goose as I walked away from here after canceling my coffee. Walked here with my dog for the first time. Upon entering I was not greeted but after about 5 minutes of waiting in line I was told I couldn't have my dog inside (there was no sign, most local cafes at least let me order or come in to pick up my food with my dog so I thought this was the case) I complied and immediately went outside without thinking to order first. after discovering all the chairs and tables were not bolted down and no one came out to take my order, I tried to order online but I wanted a Bloody Mary which you couldn't order online so I decided to go in and quickly order when there was no line (to minimize our time inside of the restaurant) The ladies were less than friendly but I ordered anyways. The sandwich I ordered was almost inedible (the chicken was hard and the Caesar dressing tasted like mayo) when they brought out my food I was not asked if I needed anything else like the patrons next to me, nor was I ever checked on (I wanted a coffee and a to-go bag.) After waiting for 30 minutes with no assistance I went to the register and asked if I can order a coffee and get a to-go bag and before I could get a total someone from the back yelled and said I can't be in here at all. So I immediately left to be polite but turned around and said you could cancel the coffee since they don't come outside for service. Again, I waited a bit and no one came out to ask me about the coffee or to give me a to-go bag. So I left the restaurant, disappointed and hungry with half of a sandwich wrapped in a napkin because I refuse to be wasteful in this economy... I'm never going back here but it seemed like that was their goal, to make me uncomfortable... As a recent Harvard grad I'm new to the area looking forward to spending summer in Tiverton - just not at this restaurant Please be nicer next time, you never know what people are going through! (My dog is a service animal)

Yelp
The Goose has had its ups and downs over the years. After being previously turned off by a previous experience years ago, we finally decided to give them another shot this year. More than once they were able to make a delicious sandwich, the Parisian has always been our go to sandwich here, and is absolutely delicious! I think we will have to make another stop here next week for a tasty lunch break!
google avatar

Yelp
waited 40 minutes for a simple sandwich and then after asking them waiting repeatedly they were like oh sorry we put it to go bag service sucked but godfather sandwich was retty good even cold;(

Bobby P.

Yelp
Came here with a few friends and had breakfast , well attempted to finish breakfast but couldn't the food had no flavor no seasoning and the coffee was watered down one of us got a hot chocolate and it was warm at best and tasted like powder mix.

Frederick K.

Yelp
Food: bagel and lox. Absolutely the best i ever had. Good bagel too. Ambiance: rustic cafe. Appropriate. Service: quick and efficient. I will return.
google avatar

Yelp
Terrible Service, food was ready and sat in a cubby with the wrong name for 25 minutes. We were told our food would be ready in a few minutes when it was in fact done and labeled wrong. Now soggy and gross and cashier tried to play it off like they had just made it. TERRIBLE SERVICE.

Yelp
Bland potatoes, bland eggs, bland everything. Went for a company outing here, and the consensus was clear; subpar at best. Not to mention, the pricing was outrageous. Workers were treating us like inmates. Overall, we are extremely disappointed, will not return.

Karen D.

Yelp
The Ricotta Stuffed French Toast accompanied by blueberry compote was underwhelming and served cold. It appeared that the compote was likely a canned blueberry pie filling. My aunt's breakfast consisted of basic eggs, bacon, home fries, and toast, which was not properly toasted. She requested the counter staff to toast the bread; however, instead of providing her with two fresh pieces, the irritated counter staff returned the bread to the kitchen, where it was heated until it became rock-hard. By the time the toast came back my aunt had eaten most of her breakfast. It is worth noting that my aunt had already taken a bite of the bread before the counter staff returned it, having toasted it on a communal cooking surface, which raises concerns about sanitation. Lousy food, even worse service, beautiful location.

Yelp
An adorable cafe with Delicious bakery selections and wide variety of breakfast and lunch choices. I've been here for lunch and breakfast and both times got a specialty coffee and treat to go and they did not disappoint! I can't wait to enjoy the patio in the summer time and sip coffee while watching the water.

Yelp
Godfather?! More like god awful. All the meat was condensed into one slab instead of folded and the peppers tasted like butt.
google avatar

Harry C.

Yelp
Outstanding!! Mid-priced, but the sandwiches eaten by my friends and I were huge. I enjoyed The Gobbler with the most tasty turkey meat I've ever experienced. The other two were equally hefty. Deserts are made there and should not be experienced unless you REALLY LIKE dessert. Very serious stuff . Absolutely recommendable.
google avatar

Yelp
I ordered an eggs Benedict at the counter from a polite young lady, paid, waited. I was served a different order instead by another woman, and was told "oh we aren't serving eggs Benedict today". ??????? How about telling me that at the counter, so I could've ordered something less greasy than what was served to me? I didn't want to eat the food that was served to me but I was starving and said I'd eat it anyway because I didn't feel like waiting another 20 min and wanted to get on with the day. No apologies or offers to give me a breakfast I'd actually want to eat. Just whispers behind the counter. Make sure to get a receipt here & confirm your order.

Sheila F.

Yelp
The good: chocolate cake & French toast soufflé were delicious. The ok: the coffee was good. We've had better, we've had worse The bad: it was not clean. The floor was a mess, the table wasn't cleaned.
google avatar

Ron C.

Yelp
This is a solid spot to grab lunch. I ordered the Sonoma sandwich and it was good. It took a while to get my sandwich as it appeared they had a lot of to go orders. This is also a really cool spot to eat as its right on the water and also offers outdoor seating.
google avatar

Yelp
Not impressed ! I went there based what was on the menu from their website and they had a sign hanging up saying oven broken. I got a sandwich, not what I wanted . I won't be back I believe the oven thing was a lie because they did not wanna cook traditional breakfast with home fries etc. Just another disappointment.

Yelp
Food here is always perfect. Great selection, especially when you're with a group that all have different interests in food. Added bonus, they have a liquor license and you can also enjoy a coffee or some of their amazing strawberry lemonade. All around yumminess!

Yelp
Food was unique and delicious. I was impressed by the blend of Mediterranean and American brunch culture. The service was fast and staff was charming. Overall 5/5

Yelp
Conveniently located right off of the main road in Tiverton, Black Goose made a great place to stop for a quick lunch in the area! The views of the water from the patio are great! They had a lot of interesting specials (including ramen!), but not many of them were vegetarian, so I ordered the caprese panini. It had tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, baby spinach, and herb spread. The flavors were good, but the bread was pretty thin--I think the sandwich would taste better on a different type of bread. The tuna burger looked amazing; it came with a huge piece of tuna considering the reasonable price! Some of the sandwiches come with chips but some don't, so check if you want to be sure! The highlight of my experience was definitely the dessert: the key lime pie was amazing! Key lime pie is my favorite, but the other items in the dessert case looked really tempting too. You can call ahead if you're curious about what they have! As others have mentioned, the people working here seem kind of young. You're supposed to order and pay at the counter, and if you're eating in they will bring your food and drinks out to you. Overall, the Black Goose Cafe is a really cute spot! It's also convenient that they have a liquor license and serve a variety of beers. I would definitely come back for some of the delicious homemade pastries!
google avatar

Jonathan C.

Yelp
Solid spot for breakfast. Order at the counter and then have a seat- inside or out. I got some coffee cake to go which was pretty good, but I also got a breakfast sandwich with some special sausage that had orange in it. Interesting dish. My only big problem is that I wasn't offered a choice of bread and it ended up coming on white. Also, I don't think they seasoned the egg at all so I added salt and pepper.
google avatar

Theresa B.

Yelp
From the many tasty sandwich options like the grilled panini's and fresh sliced breads or home made soups, fresh salads and breakfast options- wait! First you have to get by that dessert counter with cakes, muffins, brownies, cookies, key lime pie squares- Oh My! Yes, I left with a bag full of their home baked goodies! Before I go, Thank You to the really pleasant, patient, helpful young lady and her co-worker! Stop by even if you place a to-go!

Celeste V.

Yelp
Ordered a spinach pie and it was hard . The women told me to use a fork & knife .., she then said I'm going to give you a sharp knife .. gave it back to me and said Eat It!! Very rude!!
google avatar

Brittany H.

Yelp
The Chicken Caesar wrap is the best. Online ordering super helpful also! They have a large assortment of food to choose from and I always end up taking a dessert home because they look tooooo good!
google avatar

Terri C.

Yelp
I love the food here. My favorite is the summer salad. It's the perfect combination of greens, walnuts, and I add the grilled chicken. You can sit outside on the patio and enjoy the water view. The service is always excellent. Do not just drive by. Stop in and check out the amazing deserts also!
google avatar

Nicholas H.

Yelp
Beautifully situated on the Nannaquacket Pond. You cannot beat a foggy fall morning sipping an amazing coffee or tea looking out the window of The Black Goose. A tried and true local spot that also has incredible food, specialty drinks and great service! Also a great outdoor area to enjoy during warm months.
google avatar

Liz S.

Yelp
This is our go to when we don't want to cook. We just wish they delivered. During the summer, we LOVE the key lime pie and I adore the gazpacho. In the fall, the pumpkin desserts are to die for. The sandwiches are also amazing! I love the Parisian Panini and my husband adores the Nanaquaket roast beef sandwich.
google avatar

Julia B.

Yelp
Love the Black Goose Cafe. They have a variety of yummy breakfast treats, salads and sandwiches for lunch. They used to have the best crab cake salad that was out of this world several years ago. Great little spot near the water with an outdoor patio! Closes early. I think mostly a breakfast and lunch place.
google avatar

Monica B.

Yelp
My son and I stopped in for a coffee. The spot has a beautiful water view and the coffee was good. The berry lemon mascarpone cake well that was yummy!!!
google avatar

Yelp
Moved to Tiverton a couple years ago and keep coming back here. More often than not I order food to go and it's always great. Lots of variety, and quick/friendly service. Whether you go breakfast or lunch, or for drinks in the evening they do a great job. Some personal favorites: the Spicey ramen special, the et tu brute sandwich, and the Buddha bowls.
google avatar

Genesis S.

Yelp
This small cafe is located right by the water. Very scenic spot! The service was great, prompt and welcoming. I really enjoyed the roast beef sandwich and it was a generous size. The parking is a bit uncomfortable, but understandable given the location. I'm glad I live less than 10 mins away because this cafe is awesome!!

Amelia O.

Yelp
Talk about a menu. They have everything. Such a great coffee and food place. The staff was super knowledgeable about the menu and friendly. The ambiance was cute. Good for sit down or take out. And such tasty food, the drinks were perfect and the price for the quality and service was amazing. Cannot say enough about how good this place is
google avatar

Kathleen L.

Yelp
Dessert isn't great. I had a white chocolate raspberry cake that tasted like it was a few days old or extremely over baked. I also had their Italian sandwich. It was just okay. Too much sauce so the bred got soggy pretty quickly. The best thing I had was the half and half.
google avatar

Matt S.

Yelp
I spent countless hours here from 2010-2012 doing computer work and staring out to beautiful Nanaquaket Pond. It's been many years since I moved from RI, but I hope it's the same staff. The owner and staff were always so nice and let me hang. Their pasta and potato salads are top notch, and great sandwiches and pastries. This is one of those community hub cafe's where everyone from town stops in daily at some point. Always packed at lunch. I hope to finally return some day!

Sacha S.

Yelp
Friendly, cozy with a great view. Great small plates and sandwiches with a Greek flair!
google avatar

Catrina S.

Yelp
Simply the best. I've been going here for years and it never gets old. The staff is wonderful. Best chai lattes and blueberry muffins. All the menu food is delicious and the monthly specials are great too. As a regular I can't say enough good things about this place.

Lee C.

Yelp
This is such a great place with good food and service. The staff is friendly and helpful and they offer a good amount of gluten free/ sensitive food. Try one of their Budha Bowls and sit by the window overlooking beautiful Nanquacket Pond. Guaranteed you will want to go back often!

Brenda M.

Yelp
If you want to be disgruntled with a fowl odder of a dead animal or garbage coming onto the outside patio, we had to leave. It was so gross. We couldn't finish our breakfast.
google avatar

Vanessa M.

Yelp
Who doesn't love a lunch spot that pumps Michael Jackson. Super cute, super clean local place overlooking the water in Tiverton, RI. Very friends staff. Sandwhich like homemade, nice selection of beverages (yup! Alcoholic treats as well). Very homey place that I would be regular at if I lived down here!
google avatar

Alissa D.

Yelp
This is a great spot for a sandwich when you're in Tiverton (or on your way to the beach). They have changing sandwiches every month and season and some classics. I've never been disappointed with any of the sandwiches (most run $8-10 each). Each sandwich usually comes with their house made Buffalo pasta salad. It is so amazing and such a classic. Sometimes we pick up a container to take home and indulge on. (depending on size runs $6-10). They have delicious desserts. I've tried the blueberry pie which almost has a cookie like top cost, truly delicious! Rice crispy treat and s'mores bars are yummy also! Coffee drinks run a little high for the quality, but are decent. My favorite is the peanut butter cup latte made with real peanut butter! I haven't tried brunch yet, but that looks great as well, along with breakfast cocktails! They also have a few bottled beers to enjoy with your dinner. Excellent views of outside. Seating available outside. Clean bathrooms! Only 4 stars because they're not always friendly here. Sometimes I've been ignored. And also for the prices, some things aren't worth what they charge. But the food and views are great so I recommend stopping by next time you're in the area!

Jim F.

Yelp
The food was decent and the view was a plus but the staff could use some training. We sat at an outside table for some time before we realized that no one was going to take our order. A sign would help. Once inside we felt as if we were unwelcome and an inconvenience. Some small procedure changes and staff training would help to make this small restaurant a jewel.

Yelp
My family and I went to Pocasset Ridge trail for a beautiful hike. After the hike we were quite hungry so we decided to stop at the Black Goose Cafe for lunch. The service was friendly and quick. My kids had grilled cheese and loved it. I had a Shamrock panini that was delicious. I also had a very good ice coffee.

Yelp
Love the Black Goose! I am a huge fan of the et tu brute sandwich and that is my usual go to when I visit! Their food always tastes fresh and the environment is comfortable, no one will bother you if you sit with a laptop or a friend for awhile. In the summer there is outdoor seating that my friends and I always enjoy. I was disappointed when they stopped serving their buffalo pasta salad with the sandwhiches, especially since the prices are a little higher than I usually pay for a sandwhich, but I keep coming back for more!
