We were very quickly served and attended to. The food came out at a reasonable time and the steak was tender, cooked well to our liking and the sauces were delicious. I enjoyed the sides as well and they were plentiful. Waitress seemed slightly annoyed that we didn’t end up getting dessert in the end but we were full. Otherwise it was overall a good experience. No one coerced us into tipping either which is always a plus.

Truly exceptional dining experience. Came with my wife for my 1 year wedding anniversary and can confidently say we were blown away by the entire experience. Our server confidently knew how to answer questions, was friendly and everything was handled in a very timely manner (despite being busy as well). Steak tartare was amazing and rib eye was undoubtedly the best restaurant cooked steak I've had the pleasure of eating. Well worth the money, and I'm sure we'll be back!

The best steak and service I’ve ever had! Thanks to the manager (James?) and chefs for making my dinner a wonderful experience. If you are looking for a decent place for steak, this is a must visit in Brisbane. Black Hide was in my want-to-go list, now moving to my fav list. Definitely will revisit Angus rib eye 🥩 with baked pumpkin 🎃

From the moment we walked into The Black Hide we knew we were in for an exceptional experience.the food was cooked perfectly and so delicious. We loved the cocktails and red wine Super Nanny Goat Pinot 🍷 Definitely will come back again. Highly recommended!

Very expensive for what it is. Be mindful that if you order steak, that's all you get on your plate. Staff very at the table too often asking if we wanted this or that. Lacked a bit of atmosphere for dinner time. The dessert sunder was just ice cream in a bowl - wouldn't recommend.

Very disappointed with the food here. Ordered the 5+ marbling wagyu and barely tasted or had the texture of a Wagyu beef. I asked for medium and got less than medium. My partner asked for medium-well done but got well done. And very weirdly steak pieces were cut up (not what I expect from a professional/high end restaurant). The mushroom sauce taste was super average and under seasoned. Hand cut fries were too thick and not cooked long enough so some pieces were hard. The aioli just tasted like oil. The mocktail also very basic.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Black Hide restaurant and I have to say, it was an absolute delight. The steak I ordered was truly epic - hands down the best I've ever had. Cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor, it was a true culinary masterpiece. But the excellence didn't stop there. The beef tartare was a delightful appetizer, the kingfish ceviche was fresh and flavorful, and the sea scallop was simply delicious. Each dish was expertly prepared and left me wanting more. The service at Black Hide was impeccable, with attentive staff who made sure our dining experience was nothing short of perfect. The atmosphere was also wonderful, with a cozy and inviting ambiance that added to the overall enjoyment of the meal. I can't recommend Black Hide restaurant enough. If you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience with amazing food, excellent service, and a great atmosphere, look no further. I will definitely be returning to Black Hide in the future.

We had a business meal here recently—our first time dining here. We had a bit of trouble understanding the wait staff when they spoke to our table. The meals were tasty, especially the steak; however, they were a bit overpriced compared to other restaurants we've been to. The wine selection was spot on. Overall, the service was quick and mostly helpful.
