Black Legend is such a cool, funky spot with an amazing vibe. Great music but not too loud, so you can actually talk. I had their octopus ink pasta with prawns and honestly… wow. The pasta is handmade, super creamy, with basil, parmesan, guajillo chiles — and the prawns were huge, juicy, buttery, and perfectly seasoned. Easily one of the best pasta dishes I’ve had in Mexico City.
I also tried a passion fruit–mango–cardamom mocktail and a non-alcoholic mojito — both delicious. For dessert, the pistachio parmesan cheesecake was incredible!
Black Legend also does lots fun, touches when presenting the dishes— dry ice smoke on the dishes, sparkler-style candles, and even a blue-flame cacao liqueur poured over the cheesecake. It’s such a great spot to hang out, celebrate a birthday, or just enjoy a really memorable meal.
