Couldn't think of a much better place to celebrate my birthday. The service here is top notch. Very kind and attentive. Drinks come out with a show and the food is beautifully presented. They were also kind enough to bring me a birthday shot and sparkler! I tried the Rosa Negra Burger and the Tropical. Everything was delicious. The atmosphere and environment simply added to the amazing experience. Definitely worth checking it out!

The food was amazing and the servers were nice. We had the Big Black passion and the Maximo Décimo Meridio burgers. Both were delicious and the best fries! Also the cocktail (a Dragon) was amazing, we ended up drinking a bunch of them. I would recommend and definitely come back. The reasons for the 4 stars are: 1. It is quite expensive and 2. There were two things we ordered that they didn’t have available

We walked by and thought the concept was cool so gave it a try. Service 5/5 We weee served by Carlos who made sure we have everything we need and gave us personal recommendations on the dishes Price: higher end. This is a higher end restaurant so it was about 750 pesos per person for a drink and a main dish. Atmosphere 5/5 The place is very cool and feels welcoming. Chairs were comfortable and the place didn’t feel too crowded. Food 5/5 We ordered a burger and shrimp pasta to share between my wife and I. The food was really delicious and the concept that everything was served black was supper cool. Drinks 5/5 We ordered cocktails which were delicious as well. All the company at the table loved their drinks So it was a very successful dinner.

Had an AMAZING time at Black Legend! Carlos was awesome. He answered all our questions, provided drink recommendations, and gave us recs for other places to go to! The drinks were so yummy, had great presentation, and some fun smoke, cups, and names! The atmosphere was sexy, dark, and vibey. If you want more date night vibes, go downstairs. If you want balcony, DJ, disco vibes, go upstairs! The dance floor wasn’t going off at 10 PM, but we had a blast regardless, and really enjoyed the ENORMOUS disco ball! 10/10 recommend!

100/10 Absolutely amazing, there’s nothing I would change about this restaurant. The spicy tune was fresh flavorful and elegantly plated. The negro aguachiles is possibly the best dish I’ve ever had in my life. Well balanced flavor perfect amount of spice and the sauce was to die for. That dish alone deserves three Michelin stars. I’ll come back to the city just for this restaurant

Black Legend is such a cool, funky spot with an amazing vibe. Great music but not too loud, so you can actually talk. I had their octopus ink pasta with prawns and honestly… wow. The pasta is handmade, super creamy, with basil, parmesan, guajillo chiles — and the prawns were huge, juicy, buttery, and perfectly seasoned. Easily one of the best pasta dishes I’ve had in Mexico City. I also tried a passion fruit–mango–cardamom mocktail and a non-alcoholic mojito — both delicious. For dessert, the pistachio parmesan cheesecake was incredible! Black Legend also does lots fun, touches when presenting the dishes— dry ice smoke on the dishes, sparkler-style candles, and even a blue-flame cacao liqueur poured over the cheesecake. It’s such a great spot to hang out, celebrate a birthday, or just enjoy a really memorable meal. Also great service by Eliu and the whole team.

Incredible food, great service, nice atmosphere. My favorite item was the Inca-style ceviche, although I'm not sure if it was on a permanent or rotating selection menu. I would definitely come back here!

The food options were very good! We really enjoyed what we ordered and the service was on point! This place REALLY knows how to do presentation! You will love how everything comes out and tastes!
