Very good food. The quality of food is amazing and homemade like. I take my guests here for fine dining experience. It’s cosy place. The menu has diverse options to choose from. Price is very reasonable.

Right next to a lot of popular hotel. Great wholesome and nice place to get drinks and good food. I stayed at Hotel Marshyangdi for 8 days, which is right next to this. It was really convenient to just hop on over and get some good food.

An open-air restaurant with live music, offering steaks, snacks, salads, and a variety of drinks including beer, cocktails, and mocktails.

A nice, cosy cafe with good food options but a bit on the more expensive side. Service was a bit delayed but the food made up for it. It is situated in Thamel and accessible by walking or car. The atmosphere was calming. Not bad for having dinner with family.

Visited Black olives with a friend for a couple of drinks. The ambiance is outdoorsy which is what I usually prefer. The vibe was good. Service is ok and can be improved. The waiters are really sweet but lack training. We had a couple of sangria and Bailey, which was made well and nice blend. For munching we had Chilly Fries, which tasted really good with the right amount of spices. Nice place for a candle lit dinner. PS: they show extra warmth if you are a foreigner. Locals + Browns they don't care much. Nepalis weren't like this but things are changing!

The breakfast options are plentiful and everyone in my party of four enjoyed the meal. The coffee was great, though I heard from my friend at the table that the watermelon juice was not as tasty as at other restaurants. It's a nice environment to eat in, though there is a big strike for the men's room not being available and having a strong smell emanating from that area. I ordered the simple breakfast with two eggs, toast, potatoes and onion and sliced fruit. All four of us basically ate a variety of the simple breakfast menu. The total cost for the meal was only 1,615 nr.

Black Olives Cafe, located on Chaksibari Marg in Kathmandu, offers a variety of cuisines, including Nepali dishes. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating options, making it a comfortable dining experience for customers. Additionally, the mention of the restaurant being clean is reassuring, as cleanliness is an important aspect of dining out. The inclusion of a bar and live music in the evenings on a weekly basis adds to the restaurant's appeal, creating a vibrant atmosphere for customers. The location is also ideal, making it easily accessible for both locals and tourists. The statement about the food being "good snacks and food" is promising, although more information about the menu and pricing would be useful to fully evaluate the restaurant. Overall, based on the information provided, Black Olives Cafe seems like a promising dining option in Kathmandu, particularly for those looking to try local Nepali dishes while enjoying live music and a lively atmosphere.

Food was great, Pizza was mouth watering and loved their atmosphere. We spent the 31st night in there. But they should work on their service. They lacked staff and the serving was pretty late.
