Black Pearl

We stayed at the Black Pear for the very first time in August. We took their two bedroom apartment. The stay was lovely. This one had its own elevator in terms of the floor it stops on just had our room. The daily breakfast which has an additional charge was wonderful. This room has extraordinary views and the apartment was beautiful with modern appliances and everything you could want. Location was perfect as well. The staff was professional and very responsive in all ways.||This is our third stay in this city prior to a cruise since 2021 and on our next visit we will return here again.

We spent three nights at the Hotel Black Pearl and were absolutely delighted. This apartment-style hotel is located near the old harbor – a central and attractive location. The rooms are exceptionally spacious and tastefully furnished, making you feel at home right away. We’d especially like to highlight the warm and helpful welcome: at check-in, we were personally shown to our room, and any small questions were answered on the spot. Unfortunately, our stay was far too short, but next time the Hotel Black Pearl will definitely be one of our top choices. A clear recommendation for anyone who values comfort, style, and a prime location!

The Black Pearl offered the perfect place to stay for our visit to Reykjavik. Our experience booking the room was seamless. They responded promptly to inquiries before we arrived re luggage storage since most flights from the US arrive early in the morning before rooms are ready. Our room was very spacious, clean, well equipped, and comfortable. We were extremely pleased with how quiet the room was. The hotel is close to everything, with lots of restaurants and bars nearby. However, we never heard any noise at night. The front desk staff could not have been more helpful. One of our group fell on a tour and broke her rib. They were able to get her a cab to the hospital to get checked out and then directed her to a nearby pharmacy to have her prescriptions filled. The hotel is an excellent choice and provided very good value.

Loved the space and comfort of our 5th floor apartment, particularly the direct lift access. Comfortable bed, quality linens and towels. Appreciated the daily service of the room and very helpful check in process. The personal information and tour at check in helped us navigate the apartment electronics. Kitchen was well stocked with kitchen utensils which allowed cooking of meals. Would loved to have stayed longer the 3 nights.

The Black Pearl is a completely luxurious accommodation with parking right in the center of Reykjavik next to the old harbor. The hotel staff is very professional and helpful. On my trips to Iceland this is by far the most luxurious accommodation I have used and the slightly higher price fully reflects the location and quality. Next time I will stay longer than one night.

When I was searching for lodging in Reykjavik, this hotel stood out as being unusually nice. As we arrived, the staff were very friendly, helpful and stored our luggage since we arrived in the morning. The units were spotless, spacious, very modern and included kitchen amenities that we loved. We were within quick walking distance to the picturesque harbor, museums and restaurants. We were also within easy walking distance of Harpa, Sun Voyager and the fun shopping and restaurants that everyone says you should see. When it was time for us to leave, the staff ordered taxis the day before to make sure we could easily get to the cruise port. This stay could not have better!

Our 3 days sojourn at the Black Pearl Apartments was a masterclass in luxury and comfort. Upon arrival, we were delighted by a complimentary upgrade to the penthouse, a sumptuous retreat replete with every amenity imaginable. The kitchen was exquisitely appointed, and the complimentary laundry service was a thoughtful touch. Prime positioning placed us mere steps away from Reykjavik's iconic landmarks, shopping hotspots and delectable restaurants.

We absolutely loved our 3 days at Black Pearl. The apartments are very spacious, modern, and clean. It immediately felt like our home away from home. It is very reasonably priced when you consider the large bedroom, living area, bathroom, and kitchen/dining area. Well equipped for cooking or just bringing takeaway home to eat. The location is fantastic as well and within walking distance of everything in the tourist district. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. I would 100% recommend staying here!!!
