The 7 Best Hostels in Seville (Updated 2025)

"I appreciated the central location and the freebies — including a free flamenco show — and the sunny terrace and garden patio give nice glimpses of Seville’s skyline. Dorms are comfortable with cozy wooden bunks, each with a reading light and earplugs (no privacy curtains) and lockers under the bunks; there’s also a female-only dorm for solo female travelers." - Matthew Kepnes

Excellent hostel, AC works (needed In Sevilla). Top bunks are very high up but all beds have privacy curtains. Good prices during the week, gets expensive on weekends (as do all hostels in Sevilla). Rooftop terrace nice and chill. No bar but a vending machine with beers and you can BYO. A highlight is the dinner that they have daily, it’s free with a suggested donation of helping out with the cooking. Natalia made a good risotto and even made a veggie bowl for me.

I had an amazing stay at the Black Swan Hostel in Sevilla . Ramon from the Black Swan team was incredibly kind and helpful with absolutely everything - always friendly and ready to assist with any questions I had. He also gave me great advice for handling the tricky parking situation in the city, which made things so much easier. The hostel is perfect for travelers who want to stay productive while exploring - it has a great balance between a social and relaxed environment. The kitchen and living area are very welcoming, creating a warm community atmosphere where it’s easy to meet people and feel at home. I can only recommend this place to anyone visiting Sevilla - I’ll definitely come back!

I stayed for about a week and I got a very good group of people who had great energy. Mostly solo travelers which is always really nice! The hostel itself was fantastic - clean, cool layout and a nice rooftop for sunset! Will be back. A specifically lovely volunteer who approached many guests to just chat and make people feel welcome was Natalia!

I stayed at the hostel for three nights, and it really couldn't have been better. First of all, it's in a great location. The place is very well equipped, the shared rooms have curtains (essential for getting some rest), a fully equipped kitchen, a refrigerator, and above all, a great atmosphere! The staff who work there are the best, they organize lots of group activities and give you advice. In my case, Martin Yawakim welcomed me and helped me with everything. He's the best! And a great chef: one night they cooked a meal for everyone to share, and another day we all went to see a flamenco show together. Made my stay in Seville wonderful. If I return to Seville, I will definitely stay here again ❤️

Such a blast at the Black Swan! Great social setup with a kitchen and a lovely rooftop spot to hangout/enjoy a sunset. Lots of great activities like a paella cooking class and adventures to flamenco shows. Staff was great, Natalia was our super fun guide to flamenco/lead hostel guitarist. Vibes were great all around, one of the best hostels I’ve been to!

I absolutely loved my time at Black Swan Hostel Sevilla. The atmosphere is super friendly and social — perfect for meeting other travelers without feeling overwhelming. The staff were genuinely welcoming and went above and beyond to make everyone feel at home; they gave great local tips and organized fun activities every day. The rooms and bathrooms were spotless, with comfortable beds and big lockers. The kitchen is well-equipped and spacious, and the free dinners were such a nice touch — great food and a perfect way to connect with others. The common areas, especially the rooftop terrace, are beautiful and full of life in the evenings. The location couldn’t be better: right in the heart of Seville, close to all the main attractions, yet the hostel feels peaceful and relaxed inside. Overall, Black Swan Hostel Sevilla is one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed at — clean, social, and full of good vibes. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Seville!

Loved it. My first experience in a hostel where they do a lot of group events to meet fellow solo travelers. I signed up for free family dinner, food was ready, and met people. I enjoyed my stay and the staff were nice.
