SoBro Guest House

"For a night or a week, the SoBro Guest House offers an admirable combination of convenient access to downtown and the honky tonks of Lower Broad with the relative peace and quiet of a private all-suite guest house. The owners have taken over three floors and two wings of a converted apartment building, outfitting 24 one-bedrooms that are meant to sleep up to four. A virtual front deck and check-in process allows for convenient room access using a mobile device. Each room has a full kitchen—and shoppers can stock the fridge before guests arrive—and a Crosley turntable with a small curated collection of vinyl albums for hi-fi entertainment. Suites are divided into sleeping, bathing, and living areas with fold-out couches, while still maintaining a bit of privacy. Dedicated surface parking is another perk rarely found in downtown Nashville hotels."

"When Nashville natives Ann and Jack Waddey decided to open a hotel within walking distance of downtown, they went all out to make guests feel at home. In lieu of a traditional reception area, visitors check in using their mobile device at the virtual front desk, and though daily housekeeping services are available, staff goes off duty at night. The property’s 24 residence-style suites feature bedrooms with separate living areas, each decorated with dramatic tropical wallpaper offset by white furniture, as well as full kitchens with stainless-steel appliances and penny-tile backsplashes; naturally, they’re stocked with hyperlocal goods like Bongo Java coffee, or whatever you wish should you opt in to the hotel’s grocery program. Rounding out the list of homey amenities are C.O. Bigelow products and velvety robes in the bathrooms, plus dry cleaning services and free parking."

This was such a great place to stay! It was clean and comfortable. Walking to Broadway was fast and safe! The bed was very comfortable. I especially loved the special touches of having olive oil, salt & pepper grinders, and all the shower essentials.

Very convenient and right by Broadway’s night life. Furniture could use an update! Couch was hard same as the bed.

Google
Wonderful stay. Great location for walking to Broadway area. Plenty of close restaurants and bars. Room was very clean, extremely comfortable bed. Full kitchen. Stayed for 5 nights on 2nd floor, was quite, never bothered by noises. Free Parking was a big plus for this area. Highly recommended, would stay again.

We had the best time in Nashville. Having a great place to stay always makes the trip. The location was walkable distance to Broadway! We had been on the road for awhile the washer and dryer was great! The bed was comfortable! The air conditioner was a blessing!

Google
Great Place to stay in Downtown Nashville! We loved it. Easy walking distance to Broadway and Printers Alley. The room was spacious and well appointed, it was almost like staying in someones house it was so comfortable and felt very safe. Thank you for a great visit. 10/10 would stay there again!!

Google
Would stay here again- super close walkability to downtown, museums, and food. We had everything we needed during our stay. We could hear the people above us walking around, but it’s apartment style, so to be expected. It also would get very warm without the bedroom door open but there was a fan. The property team was very responsive and worked with all our needs.

Google
Awesome stay! Not too bad of a walk to Broadway and some delicious breakfast places. Now, like other reviews, it was very dark and the bathroom door didn't lock or have a tongue to close solidly. So bring your own bright mirror for make-up girls. On the other hand, it was VERY clean. From the entrance to the bathroom, the whole place was clean. We had unit 22 on the third floor (top) but it was quiet. (Difficult when you've had a few too many down the street, though that's user error on our part. 🤣) the whole time we only heard a door in the hall once but even that was slight. We did stay from Sunday to Wednesday, too. Martin's BBQ is nearly next door and it is a must-do, excellent food. Back to the apartment we had. The bed was comfortable and there was no doubt that the sheets and comforter were just washed. Because we stayed during colder weather the heat was cranked and there was no way to turn it down. The only thing we had was one of those old hotel air conditioners that sit under the window in the living room. We cranked that baby on high cool and still woke up sweating. Good thing we brought our fan. With all that being said, we will definitely be staying there on future trips.

Not fancy outside but it was nice to have the small outdoor space. The rooms were very nice and the location was good for walking to the honky tonks on broadway.

Yelp
We chose this place for our 4-night Nashville vacation based on the price and proximity to downtown Nashville. It met and exceeded our expectations. Thankfully, we were in a lower level unit because we had extremely heavy suitcases and I didn't realize there are no elevators. I loved the fact that the main door and the unit door are both code locks so we didn't have to keep up with any keys. The apartment is fully equipped: full kitchen with cookware, washer and dryer, plenty of towels, and a portable crib (if needed). We would ABSOLUTELY stay here again!!!!

Yelp
I actually never got to stay at this hotel. I had to cancel my reservation because I did not receive any checkin information until 7 hours before I was supposed to be there. I did not feel comfortable getting on an airplane to fly across the country without any information about getting into the hotel. I started reaching out 24 hours before checkin asking for the instructions. I asked for a refund but they stated they sent me a number of emails. I only received one email from them and that was about 7 hours before checkin. I will never book a place like this again.

Yelp
This is the first review I have ever written but feel I owe it to others so they don't have to deal with this company. We showed up to a room with no floors, just bare concrete. The room was obviously repaired perhaps from water damage. The walls were patched with sections missing. The toilet broken so I had to jury rig a string into the tank so we could flush it. The room with a strong smell of damp concrete. My wife wanted to leave but I felt we would never get our money back and the other 2 couples we came with were in the same building, so we stuck it out. We tried to get someone from management to work with but the best we could do was an automated text chat. We asked for half to cost to be refunded as we did stay for the reasons mentioned and they gave us an insulting $86 off a three night stay and $1000 bill. No plumber ever showed up and we were never contacted by a real person. I travel all over the world and have had many issues, most are just overlooked as things happen, this was the first time I felt we couldn't just let it go. Do yourselves a favor and DO NOT stay here. Have one star because you can't post with zero.

Yelp
Like so many others, I should have paid attention to the reviews. The SoBro Guest House (known on other sites by the more elegant name "Black Swan") was more like a glorified halfway house. Besides the strong smell of cleaners, the room was nice enough. I didn't have much need for the kitchen or a fridge, but some residents might. (The folks who were moving an apartment's worth of stuff out on the sidewalk when I arrived had clearly been there longer than a couple nights.) As mentioned countless times in other reviews, the ceiling above the first floor is paper thin. Everything from a footstep to god-knows-what could be heard above me at all hours. On my first night, I was awakened about 1:30 am by the echoing sound of footsteps that sounded like high heels being driven into the floor. This happened all three nights of my stay. It wasn't anything to complain the the people above me about since it seemed like folks just naturally walking around in their room, and I'd already been told I couldn't switch rooms when booking. It kept me awake for hours. The subsequent nights weren't any better. Basically, if you are on a floor lower than the top you should be prepared to involuntarily learn a lot about your neighbors. This also being just rented rooms without any hotel experience, expect the bare minimum of help and no onsite service. When I couldn't find an email with a code to enter the building, I called the number, waited on hold and talked to a guy who said he'd get a message to someone who could actually help me. I never got a follow up, but fortunately I found an email with an access code. All in all a clumsy system. The landlords are completely disconnected from this place and seemingly all about just milking guests for cash, as evidenced by that fact that they don't respond to any Yelp reviews, post disconnected numbers and barely answer the phone. The two stars is for a room that was clean and stocked and a bed that was comfortable - when I could sleep. I suggest you don't get sucked in by the cheap price as I did and find a slightly more expensive yet actual hotel that isn't a converted apartment building where you can get on-site service and a higher level of quality. Oh, and the much touted record players I read about in every room? Mine didn't have one.

Yelp
Everything about this place is unconventional, eclectic and much needed! First off, there is no staff. Precheck-in (required) is done via email, and access codes to the facility and your room are emailed and text messages before check-in at 4pm. There is free parking at the guest house. Second, the room is the cleanest hotel room I ever stayed in. Everything is spotless. The linens were fresh and the towels bright white. There are luxurious robes in the closet to use. Not to mention they offer complimentary Bigelow lavender and peppermint apothecaries. Nice touch! Third, the kitchen is stocked with every utensil needed to either cook a meal (you need to grab the groceries) or make fresh French pressed coffee (What's French press? No worries there is a recipe box that answers everything from WiFi password to how to French press coffee - so helpful). And they provide fresh locally roasted coffee beans! The space is unique and fun. It feels like a little apartment complete with a record player and some vinyl choices. We didn't even know how much we would love Andy Williams till our stay at SoBro. The guesthouse is a few blocks from Broadway, the home of great music and eating. CMHF is just two blocks along with the Bridgestone Center and the Ryman Auditorium. Great location! Bottom line. Would we return? We are already planning it!

Yelp
My husband and I spent our Christmas vacation at the SOBRO guesthouse! we had a wonderful stay, the apartment was clean and comfortable! short walk to Broadway full kitchen to cook meals, full size washer and dryer all the amenities that you could need! we will definitely stay again!

Leesa E.

Yelp
Our unit was unfortunately on the first floor. We could hear everything upstairs as they rolled in at 3:00 AM. The biggest joke of all we're the miniature coffee cups that held maybe a 3 oz cup of coffee. Kitchen is not well stocked at all. No closet to hang clothes, just a very cheaply made tiny rack to hang stuff up. Lobby entryway reeks of chemical smell like they are trying to hide something. We tried to sit outside in the courtyard but a homeless man was asleep there. Not a bad walk to town. It would've been a quiet location if not for the thin walls and floors. The Sat night cost of $349 was not worth it. We didn't stay the 3rd night we booked. If you are just looking for a place to crash/sleep after partying all night, this is your place!

Yelp
This place was so awesome! I came to Nashville to celebrate my bachelorette party. We originally booked a room at a hotel downtown. As the group of us girls began to grow we decided something bigger than a hotel room would be ideal. My cousin booked with SoBro Guest House and I will say it was the best choice she could of done. The price was so reasonable with all of us splitting it. The accommodations at this place were above and beyond. Everything was decorated with such style and personality. I have recommended this place to several people already and hope they fall in love with it like I did. Hope to return soon!

Yelp
So we've stayed here twice. My wife and I stayed here when they first opened and the place was new. The stay would have been great except we were in Nashville for a football game and the hot water was broke for the duration of our stay. Other then not being able to take a hot shower when it's in the 30s our first stay wasn't horrible. It is because of what happened on our first stay that we ended up back there recently this December. The hotel gave us a free stay because of what happened on our previous stay. Ok great that's awesome right, at least they made an effort to make things right. However the hotel that we came back to was not the same. The lobby stinks like smoke and B.O. We stayed in room 17 which is on the first floor and the floor above us was so thin you can hear everything the people are doing above you( real bad, so bad that if you are going to stay here don't stay on the ground floor you'll regret it). The worst part was the room was filthy. Hair and stains everywhere, the bed and bathroom were straight up gross. So bad that we willingly left and paid over $200 a night to stay somewhere else when we had a free room. It's sad because the potential is there for this place to be great. The location is great, but that's about it. Maybe you'll have a different experience but I would not go back.

Yelp
This place is amazing. Hands down. I recently stayed here while on a weekend trip to Nashville. It's setup as 1 bedroom apartments with no-onsite check-in. You get the access code via email or text which makes check-in a breeze. Rooms have all the amenities including washer / dryer, full kitchen and all the things you would need to make your stay extra comfortable. Soaps, personal care products, board games the whole 9 yards. Perfect for a family, couple or individual! It's a short walk to Broadway / downtown so the location is PERFECT. Quick uber to any other areas of Nashville as well. I would absolutely stay here again.

Yelp
I'm still not sure what to make of the SoBro Guest House. It was the best of times, it was the worst of times... We wanted to love this place and did love much about it. We had some hiccups and a mixed bag of responses to the hiccups we encountered. Our room(s) were gorgeous and conducive to a weekend locked in away from home with comfy beds and lavish robes (ok they weren't that lavish) The Good The rooms are spacious, eclectic, homey but luxurious and very stylish. I loved the turntable and rando records. The bed was super comfy and they had lush robes for us. The sitting area was small, but to have a suite like that for a moderately reasonable price in such a great location is quite a luxury. The kitchen was stylish and beautiful, made me want to make some updates to our kitchen and almost made us think twice about going out for all of our meals. We loved the vibe in the place and appreciate the drive to modernize hotel experiences with technology. We always prefer to support small quirky local places rather than big chains and this place oozes charm and style..The location of the hotel is great for downtown and quick drives to most of Nashville's charming neighborhoods. We were sad not to have more time to just rest there as our home base. The Ugly The parking was a pain in the butt. Their website says they have parking but that they strongly urge people not to count on parking. Um what??? Either you offer parking to your guests, you charge for parking or you guarantee them parking. You don't apply some distorted unhelpful game theory strategy to try and discourage people from a convenience. They said there's a lot for $20 overnight parking if they are full... The parking situation was a major factor in deciding whether we would rent a car or just Uber everywhere and they were terribly unhelpful. There would appear to be ample free overnight parking within several minutes walk. They really should be more clear and helpful about parking. Allow people to have a confirmed spot or provide information about low/no cost parking nearby. My wife stood in the last spot as I ran to grab our car that I had parked free 5 minutes away and I just made it back moments before another guest came in the lot which was now full. There has to be a better way. The building is unique and with old age comes beauty and character and creaking. The floors are loud! That's fine and I'm sure 99% of people have no problems, but the people above us our first night must have had elephants in their room doing Cross Fit from 4 AM until 6 AM. Like it was so massively loud for so long that I was moderately impressed at whatever the heck they were doing above us. We tried to ask for them to quiet down a bit and it didn't seem like there was a way for us to ask anyone to help us have them quiet down a bit. They were not particularly helpful when we asked to be moved saying they couldn't do anything and were fully booked. Somehow after my wife was pleading and complaining they managed to move us to the top floor which was great, but the only problem was that the codes weren't working and it took us nearly 20 minutes to get into our new place which after a frustrating night of not the best sleep was the last thing we needed. The response rate to the text "concierge" was random and inconsistent, often not super helpful. The hallways smelled of poop or vomit and there was a man in a full care bears costume passed out in the stairwell, which while delightfully random and hilarious is not befitting of a place going for the vibe and price tag SoBro is looking for. We would probably stay outside of downtown next time we visit, but we would consider SoBro again if it seems like they've grown up and worked out their kinks. I really hope they do. It's got so much potential.

Yelp
I love that I could check in online and that process of booking a room was easy. But that being said, I feel like this "hotel" is missing the mark when it comes to an easy stay. My boyfriend and I booked the room last minute on a road trip to Florida. We were stoked to find this cute looking spot in the cool hood of SoBro. But "hood" it is. Even tho "nashvegas" is a five minute walk, I am scared I would get raped walking those couples of blocks. Barely street lamps and no one around but homeless. A little to edge-y for the $225/night price tag. So we uber-d to dinner. And I would recommend to management that they add a mini bar for the kitchen. I will pay for food! With no grocery stores in site, we had no options but the gas station to get groceries. The ace hotel is my frequent joint and they're simple mini bar with food I eat all of the time makes my stay that much better. And the bathroom was not like the picture online. It looks like the bathroom in pretty much any clean motel. I feel like I got duped with hipster prices (and I only pay $150/night at the ace?!) for a basic motel with a kitchen. Views? We were given a first floor room with a view of a fence. For $225?! BS to me. Go for the Hampton Inn for $125/night., don't bother with this place. Not impressed for the price. At least it was clean.

Yelp
Loved this place. Cool decor, clean, friendly and super helpful concierre. Loved the text messages each morning, that is a great touch. The robes, coffee, umbrella, washer- dryer. The bed was so comfortable. We had a lot of fun in Nashville, met some great people. Can't wait for our next trip back and so looking forward to staying at the Guest House again. Thankyou Sobro Guest House for a wonderful stay..
google avatar

Patricia C.

Yelp
This "hotel" is beyond over priced. It's a small little condo style "apartment" that does a good job selling how elite and beautiful it is but not worth what they charge. It should be $200. For the price they charge, you are better off at a real boutique hotel where you get real value for the price. I am embarrassed how much I paid for this little apartment.

Yelp
Enjoyed our stay here. It was great. The room was spacious. I loved the kitchen and the amenities. Our bed was very comfortable and everything was clean. Kudos to the wonderful housekeeping team. The only issue I had was the check in email still 10:30am. That was a pain trying to deal with while in a conference. I wish they would send that out much earlier in the day. Thanks

Yelp
Awesome hotel! So it's essentially a little apartment that you're staying in- the small kitchen is very nice along with the beds (one sofa bed) and bathroom. There were so many additional things that just made us love this place- a record player, robes in the closet, washer/dryer, and the unique furniture. We listened to the record player as we got ready to walk to broadway, only a 5 minute walk away. There's a great coffee shop right across the street. There is a free parking spot for each room right outside the building which is perfect. Great find in Nashville!

Andrea B.

Yelp
My husband and I found this on yelp and loved the central location to everything in downtown. It is reasonably priced and includes parking. The decor of the place was so neat and it made us feel at home. Our favorite part of the place we're the large windows that opened up to a beautiful central skyline view of the city. It would have been five stars it if it had a balcony lol Other than that this place is really clean, private and easy to park.
google avatar

Jordin J.

Yelp
This place is super cute and an easy 10 minute walk to broadway! I arrived yesterday and the staff was very accommodating storing my friends and I's bags while the room was getting ready. Pre check in was an easy process and they worked to let us check in earlier which was super helpful. The apartment is super cute and functional with a full fridge! Definitely recommend this place.

Yelp
It's different but very nice. It's definitely more like a furnished apartment then a typical hotel. We checked out of the Best Western to come here and wish we would have booked here first. Super clean just make sure you follow the pre-check in email. If we come back I do believe we would stay here again.

Yelp
We stayed here for 2 nights over Labor Day weekend, on our first trip to Nashville. A+++! We are boutique hotel junkies and SBGH is top-notch. Excellent location - Next door to Martin's BBQ and within easy walking distance of the Broadway scene -- Ryman Auditorium, Country Music Hall of Fame, Tootsies, Robert's Western World, Ernest Tubb's Record Shop, Luigi's Pizza, George Jones' Bar, and more. 10-min walk to Printer's Alley (Skull Room, Bourbon St. Blues, Fleet Street British Pub), if you want to get away from the hordes of drunken bachelorettes in pedal wagons. Hi-Tech Check-In Process -- This was our 1st experience with virtual check-in/virtual concierge and we LOVE it. It's a paradigm shift. Instead of a front desk, SBGH sends texts/emails to communicate status information and exterior/interior door access codes. At check-in time (4:00 pm), we received a well thought out series of texts and emails that provided all the info we needed to stay at the hotel. Accommodations are well-appointed, urban chic, Ikea-inspired 1BR efficiencies with kitchenettes, laundry and a superb bath/shower. The beds sleep like a dream -- comfy, cozy, lots of pillows. Our favorite part: the thoughtful soap/shampoo dispensers and he Bigelow soap/shampoo product -- a cut well above standard hotel fare. Staff -- The staff at SBGH is aces. Everyone -- the GM, Assistant GM and the housekeepers went out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable, fun, and safe. It's clear they are proud to be a part of everything Nashville has to offer and they enjoy sharing their knowledge with visitors. They really made us feel at home in Music City. For travelers seeking a small, upscale lodging experience in a safe urban environment, we highly recommend SBGH. The 24-room size of the hotel - less is definitely more -- is a key differentiator for those who want a memorable stay in Nashville.

Yelp
Stayed here for 5 nights because I had a conference at Music City Center. It was a great location and I felt safe (regardless of what some people said in their reviews). The bed was comfortable and so was my stay. HOWEVER, I was on the bottom floor and it was very noisy. Every step people took above me resulted in loud stomping noises. It shook the ceiling and the walls. As I am typing this review, it sounds like a herd of elephants are above me. I am literally going out of my mind. Called the 24 hr service and all they could do was call them. Not very effective. I would only stay here again if it was on the top floor.

Yelp
We came from Pensacola Florida for our first trip to Nashville. Watched the Jets loose to Titans We also we're engaged at the SoBro Guest House , Amazing Place Highly recommended and we will be back every year to stay. Close to downtown area up hill on the way back

Yelp
This place was awesome!! Looked Air BnB and some hotels. This was the cheapest, and at first didnt want to believe reviews. But they didn't lie. Amazing place. Studio apartment, full kitchen, super clean and modern. My girlfriend and I were shocked at how awesome. Definitely more like a BnB spot. Won't ever stay in a hotel when in Nashville. This is the spot.

Yelp
DO NOT STAY HERE! They are now run by the Stay Alfred. Horrible horrible people that DO NOT care about you as the customer. SoBro's phone numbers don't even work. When we made the reservation it was still the SoBro. We had stayed there before and the main thing we loved about it was that parking was included. We had until June 26th to cancel our July 3rd reservation without being charged the full cost of the room. Two days before our arrival we received an email telling us the parking lot was being paved and we had to now find and pay for our own parking. We called to see if they planned to compensate us for the parking and they said no. They also would not cancel our reservation without charging us the full price. They did not care that we were upset or inconvenienced. They said we were grandfathered in with the old SoBro policy so they would not change the cancellation policy. But the SoBro policy was to provide parking abc they had no intention of honoring that. At the $400 rate we were paying (this included taxes and fees) I expected better customer service. THEN we arrive and there are gross white stains all over the couch that have been hidden with throw pillows. So gross we wouldn't sit on it. The charm of the little things like the record player are all gone. Housekeeping comes into our room at 8am waking us up and scaring us. Toilet seat is too small for the toilet. OH and in their welcome packet it says parking is included!

Yelp
Amazing ambiance and impeccable rooms! Every little detail was thought out here and the location was perfect for the Nashville experience. No need to even Uber as everything is in walking distance. The manager Kim and her team were super responsive to all of my needs and questions. I had friends over that were staying at The Hutton and they were super jealous of the space I had and all of the little details that came along with the room! Imagine my surprise to find a record player in my room with vintage vinyls, one being Fleetwood Mac. Be on the lookout for the monkey theme too. Monkeys greet you at the gate, on your robes and there was even a barrel of monkeys on the entertainment center in the living room. My all friends agree that this is our spot from now on when it comes to Nashville!

Brittany T.

Yelp
I loved the space, really nicely decorated with great amenities (kitchen, french press, fridge, washer/dryer). There was even a record player which was fun to fire up in the music city! Everything was clean & comfortable. I was only in town for a night but this place was homier and better equipped than my apartment! Check in was a breeze and my room was ready early. I wish every hotel had virtual check-ins! As other reviewers noted, there was information in the room on everything I could have wanted. Location was great, right outside of downtown Nashville. Very easy walk to the action. My experience was very different from the other reviewer, I was traveling by myself and felt very safe walking around in the area. My only complaint would be outside noise that woke me up a few times in the night. Ultimately I know that's the price I paid for wanting to be close to downtown but earplugs would help if you're a light sleeper. To be fair, I only heard outside noises (nothing from neighboring rooms). I would stay here again and recommend it to others visiting Nashville!

Gameryoutber1 L.

Yelp
I booked SoBro because it sounded funky and neat. After booking when I got my charges they had added a "mandatory fee" of $100 with no explanation in addition to the $65 in occupancy tax. When I tried to cancel one hour later, they charged me $148 for the privilege. In the future I will find a more honest lodging that will not try to rip me off. It may be nice, but not at this rate. I say "Avoid this place"

Do not stay here. Directly across from two active skeletal construction sites and the Greyhound bus terminal. (At least our window didn't face the construction sight. We had an awesome view of a wall a few feet away). Not a hotel. Condo units. Thin ceilings where we listened to EVERY move our upstairs neighbors made. Smelly room. Newly renovated. But nothing to recommend this place. Would have been disappointed if priced at $200. Feeling fleeced at over $500. Edged out a youth hostel in Amsterdam as the Worst Night Stay ever. And beware the 7 day cancellation policy. Shame on you.

Yelp
Yes the concept of being able to check in online and be emailed the information and code is a great idea, but having check-in at 4 pm is really inconvenient . They claim once rooms are clean they will send you the code anytime between 12:30-4. We arrived at the hotel at 2, and called several times to see if they could switch us to a room that was already clean. They did not, so we sat in their parking lot for over 2 hours waiting. Some may ask why we did that...there is not enough parking for the hotel and they allow housekeeping to park there as well so the spots get taken quickly. We were in town for a wedding and finally gained access to the room at 4:15 which meant we really had to rush for a 5:30 wedding time. If you don't have somewhere to be the rooms are nice and the bed is actually quite comfortable. But do not except any customer service or added bonuses with this hotel. Someone wrote the hotel was in the hood... I never once felt unsafe walking to and from the hotel. Just be conscious of your surroundings.

Yelp
I cannot overstate how impressed I was with SoBro Guest House! The hotel is a bit different in that there is no concierge, but the management texts or e-mails all of the information and details you need, from access codes to check out info. Upon arrival, there is a little box with cards detailing everything you might need for your stay, including a phone number and e-mail for management, where you can reach them anytime. Because this hotel is new, I wasn't sure what to expect, but it is exactly as shown in the pictures. It is basically the best one bedroom apartment you could ask for. The bed is comfortable, the apartment is spacious, and the kitchen is amazingly convenient. With fresh coffee beans (and a grinder), a washer and dryer, one of the best showers I have ever had and two beautiful TVs, I could have moved into this place and happily lived there. The SoBro house is close to everything you might need downtown Nashville - a mere 10 minute walk from Broadway and the Ryman Auditorium, right around the corner from the Country Music Hall of Fame, and on a quiet street so you aren't right in the middle of everything (while still being very close). I cannot wait to return here and will recommend it to everyone I know travelling to Nashville!

Yelp
This hotel is AMAZING! Easy check in and you don't have to worry about keeping track of a key. Cleanest hotel that I've ever been in and the staff is so friendly. Good walking distance from all the fun downtown places. I definitely will recommend this hotel to anyone going to Nashville.

Yelp
This experience was absolutely amazing! The pictures can not even begin to explain how cool this place is. When I travel I'm usually trying to get out of the stuffy hotel that I've over paid for ASAP. Beige and boring rooms are not what you'll find here. For the first time ever a hotel room actually contributed to my experience and I found myself wanting to stay in and invite people over for a change. Recommending to all of my friends and family and I will be back within the month to stay again! #barrelofmonkeys#barrelofwiskey#barreloflaughs

Yelp
Very easy "check-in" process with the codes through text/email. Not a bad location, we took a short Uber ride to Broadway. The room was very clean and nice. Cute kitchen! The products were all CO Bigelow, which I thought was nice. They also have a communal patio with plenty of seating. Very relaxing and clean!

Yelp
We had so much fun here. They give you everything you could possibly need and then some! It's great they set up like apartment living and give you a French press and all the fixings. There is a full kitchen and stove and living area. Plus there is a record player which we actually used the whole time we were at the hotel. The creature comforts are awesome. Oh and we did a ton of walking to all the sites! Great location. We did have a little bit of a confusing time getting into it but lucky for us the manager was on site and helped us. There is no front desk they do it all by email/text including giving you the door codes. I would stay here again.

Yelp
I am at the hotel waiting for my room. Instructions were not emailed to me about accessing my room and no one is answering the emergency line. This is unacceptable.

Yelp
What a breath of fresh air. Somewhat expecting a well worn place to stay. Totally the opposite and un-hotell like. Rooms very clean, very well presented and not a run of the mill stay. Walking distance to downtown. Good communication. Well done

Yelp
Initially we were unable to call as the phone number we were given was disconnected. Once we arrived in Nashville we received all the info we needed to get into the room. Luckily it was ready before 4 pm as we weren't thrilled from the start that check in was so late. Since we were in town to see Garth Brooks, being close to Bridgestone Arena was a perk. We ended up walking back after the concert. First impression upon arrival: hallway floor near bathroom had water damage and was split, bathroom was really small and entire room is too dimly lit. We immediately heard the people above us as we were on the ground floor - and we preceded to listen to our upstairs neighbors throughout the night and early in the morning. The wall mounted heater/fan kicked on and off loudly and was unable to regulate a comfortable temperature. We had to adjust it several times throughout the night. It also sounded like it was falling off the wall when it should shut off. The bed was comfortable and clean. In theory we liked the idea of an AirBnB style set up, but in this case we found we really missed having a concierge. The concept is workable but the accommodations need work. My husband texted the on-site manager about some of the issues we had and they agreed to discount our stay by $50. A nice gesture, but our stay fell short of our expectations. We'll be sticking to traditional hotels in the future!
