Disappointing Service & Pricing Concerns – Black Tomato
We booked a trip with Black Tomato expecting a premium, bespoke travel experience. Instead, our assigned representative, Caroline Quinn, was consistently difficult to reach, often only taking calls when it suited her, and was rude and unpleasant in tone.
We paid $15,000 for a trip that, after reviewing the actual costs ourselves, should have been closer to $7,000. When we raised these concerns with the London office, we were told they could not address it immediately due to a company-wide meeting — delaying any resolution and leaving us feeling dismissed.
For a company that markets itself as a high-end travel service, the lack of courtesy, transparency, and urgency was extremely disappointing. We cannot recommend Black Tomato based on our experience.
