How to Visit Bermuda on a Budget in 2025

"I found the café at Cambridge Resorts reasonably priced despite being at a resort; generally most meals cost 10–20 BMD, while a mid-range meal with drinks and dessert can run closer to 75 BMD." - Matthew Kepnes

Came here after many recommendations and it didn't disappoint! They were a bit busy so had to wait a minute or two but after ordering we got the food really fast so no issues there. I got the breakfast burrito with a French toast side and it was delicious and a great portion of food. My husband got the fall panini and it was fantastic. Our server Naomi was delightful on this dreary morning.

AMAZING! Where do I start? The vibe is adorable. Our waitress, Naomi, is the sweetest! Very attentive. The americano was smooth, strong, and not too bitter. The creamy tomato bisque came with fresh homemade French brioche bread. I ordered a fall panini that tasted like Thanksgiving in a sandwich - just the right blend of sweet and savory. My husband ordered French toast with berries and whipped cream. He ate it in less than 10 minutes and wanted more! The compote was perfectly sweet so that the French toast hardly needed any syrup. A delicious and salty turkey sausage came on the side.

We had breakfast at Black Water bakery and loved it. Its a cute little place with delicious food, great service and a good vibe. Everything tasted so fresh. We loved it so much that we went back the next morning as well, and the owner came to our table to speak to us and was very friendly. This place is a definite recommendation from me.

Google
This is an awesome place for a relaxing meal. Everything was delicious. I’d seen the reviews and someone posted that their Toast was almost burnt and the bacon too. Pictures posted were very unappealing so we almost didn’t order the Avocado Toast. So glad we DID! It was so, so good 😊 The Acacia(?) Bowl was super good and refreshing on a hot summer day. It was very cold and the toppings were super fresh. Do not pass this gem by. Soo good. We’re going to try to incorporate these two items into our normal life they’re that good. They even have our pup a bowl of water. We’ll be back 🥰

So good my family ate here three days in a row! Delicious food, incredible cold brew. Kids loved the French toast bites. Salmon BLT was so tasty!

Google
This place was just what we were looking for this morning while in town from out of state with a buddy. We decided to try a “local” spot instead of a larger chain for breakfast and it didn’t disappoint. We chose Black Water because their menu was a bit broader than some other options in the area, which you can easily find online. The staff were all VERY kind from the moment we walked in, despite seeming a little busy. It was evident that our server was learning through her first day on the job, but she did a great job staying attentive to our needs and their team worked in tandem to ensure our dining experience was a good one. The owner, Jamie, was very friendly and she quickly made her way to our table to engage us in conversation, which was nice. The food and drinks were excellent all around. The hand-made breakfast wrap was snugly assembled so as to not fall apart in your hands like wraps at other places often do — and it tasted phenomenal. Upgrade yours by adding the Million $ Bacon… you won’t regret it. Our server also brought me some house-made sauces for an added layer of flavor, which I enjoyed. The coffee was rich and bold, served to patrons in whimsically unique and mismatched coffee cups, as though you had poured yourself a cup at home into a vessel straight from your own cabinet — a nice touch. A pleasant surprise was the selection of adult beverages on then menu — I recommend the Bloody Mary with a pickle spear, olive, and, of course, the Million $ Bacon again. Through some further conversation with the staff, we found out the name “Black Water” is, in fact, a direct reference to coffee’s classic, intended appearance, an interesting revelation. Had we the opportunity, we’d return to eat every one of our breakfasts at Black Water — a place aptly named and worthy of your patronage, without the slightest apprehension.

Google
Great breakfast spot in the heart of Cambridge. The food was colorful and flavorful and the service was great. The loaded breakfast fries were definitely our favorite!

Google
A hidden gem on a quiet street! My 50th birthday in Jamaica was cancelled due to hurricane Melissa (boooo) We decided to stay on the Eastern Shore and found this cute little spot. Often places are cute and the food is just ok. But this place had it all, it was warm literally and figuratively, service was outstanding and the food was GREAT!

Yelp
Great yummy bakery goods and food! The chairs are too high for me due to joint issues. They do have a few standard level chairs and tables.

Yelp
We were visiting Cambridge and went to Black Water Bakery 2 out of our 3 mornings there. It's comfortable, friendly, and quaint. The service was excellent. And the food was really good. We tried the Green Giant omelette, Quiche Lorraine, grits, Avocado & Lox Toast, and Biscuits & Gravy. Everything was delicious, including the coffee. Obviously, we liked it, because we went back and would definitely go back again.

Yelp
Fantastic coffee, great pies, pastries and breakfast all in a beautiful setting. Add the very attentive staff and you have a perfect place for a meal! Highky recommended

Yelp
There is always a line. It's the busiest place in town and for many reasons. Portion sizes are huge. Everything is easily shareable.

Yelp
This was my second time eating at this establishment. The first time I ate here, I was blown away by the food, the service and the coffee and was impressed at the way they managed the very busy morning they had. I still enjoyed it this time around. We were able to make reservations which was a welcome change than waiting for a table. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. Our table in particular was near the tasty bakery items so that was a nice view :) Their menu had a lot of offerings so if you're not sure what to eat, it can be a bit overwhelming. We ordered, some sausage biscuits and grave, avocado toast, a steak wrap, lattes, and a pancake. My favorite thing was the latte (of course because I love coffee and espresso), followed by the steak wrap. All the other food was great but my only comment is that some of the items (pancake, toast on the avocado) where a little on the overcooked side - still tasted great though and if I'm ever back in that area, I will be visiting.

Yelp
Had a grilled cheese with the Dorchester Lemonade. Everything was very good. Service was great

Yelp
Stopped by here on my way back from a conference - my brown sugar latte was DELICIOUS- they have quite the line up of flavors to choose from so pick whatever you want. I ordered the French toast with scrapple, the quiche with Turkey sausage, almond cheese croissant, and a citrus cake. My favorite was the almond cheese croissant then tied for the quiche and French toast. The citrus cake was yummy too and scrapple is always a requirement for a trip to the Eastern shore. I wasn't a fan of the Turkey sausage but everything else I would order again. The space is cozy with a twist of upscale beach charm - it's very cute and seems like a perfect addition for the downtown strip. Menu is elevated classics, some with a twist. It's really more like 3.5 stars because the staff were not entirely welcoming and friendly but I did enjoy my food. I received a Luke warm smile from behind a computer from maybe the owner, The barista was friendly but another cashier/barista gave me multiple mean and ugly stares like I wasn't supposed to be there or spend my money there. I received a few of the same, "shocked she's here" stares from clientele which told me a lot . If I had caught that before I'm not sure I would've supported this business. Would I go back? Sure. Would I recommend it? Maybe, ehhh maybe not.

Yelp
The food is great rather small place and they have limited staff and seating. They make great efforts to make sure that you're comfortable.

Yelp
One of our "must eat at" places when in Cambridge! The atmosphere is charming with all things coffee. As they close at 3pm, we are ususally there for early breakfast... be prepared to wait the later it gets in the day. I have a gluten allergy and there are lots of options. They have a gluten free citrus bread that is scrumptious and the omeletes are spectacular! Boozy drinks, espresso coffees, buscuits, lots of bakery items and did I mention the omelets?!

Yelp
Visited on a Monday morning for breakfast. Cute restaurant located in the heart of downtown Cambridge. There was parking right next to the building and we were seated right away without a reservation. Indoor seating was full but there were tables available outside. The menu is pretty extensive with lots of good options. As a Cambridge native, I was so excited to see scrapple on the menu! I am also a lover of chai tea and whiskey so I had to order the dirty chai. The food came out quickly. While the scrapple was good, the waffles came out extremely hard and the potatoes had no seasoning/flavor. We spent about $75 for our table of 2 (plus an infant) for breakfast and drinks. The service was lackluster and the food was not great. Not sure I would visit again.

Lizette M.

Yelp
Too expensive and they have hidden fees DO NOT GO THERE!!!! They charged us a "Here" charge of $3 for drinking our drinks there and another $3.50 "Here" charge for eating breakfast there. Not to mention my husband and I both had a really bad stomachache after breakfast there.
google avatar

Yelp
There was a little bit of a wait, but it was worth it! We all got drinks. I got the lavender, honey, chai & it was delightful. My sister got the strawberry shortcake or something like that, but we weren't fans. My mom had a Bloody Mary & she enjoyed. We got crab dip & the breakfast fries to share and they were all yummy too. I got the fall panini which was absolutely scrumptious! They actually loaded it with goat cheese which is so rare. It was such a great mix of a flavors. I also got a side of chocolate chip pancake which was rather dry but I appreciated that option as a side. So overall it was a good place, & I regret not getting a party to go!!

Yelp
4 stars for ambience and food; 2 stars for service. My wife and I are staying in the yacht basin and decided to walk to town for some breakfast. Cute place; decent menu with many good breakfast choices. The food was good, not outstanding. They had a wide range of fancy coffees, lattes and the like, but we generally stick with your basic coffee, as we did this time. Like the food, our basic coffee was good, not great. The service is what really brought this place down for us. We waited over 20 minutes for our food after we ordered. Pretty sure our waitress forgot to put our order in, as they weren't very busy (maybe 1/2 the tables were occupied and no more than 1 or 2 people were in the take out line. It was ultimately delivered to the table by someone other than our waitress, and our waitress never checked back to see how we were doing. After we were done eating we waited and waited and waited for our waitress. We tried several times to flag her down for a go box and our check, but she never made eye contact. We tried to flag other waitresses; no eye contact, no luck. I finally go up from the table to ask for a box and our check. A few minutes later, the box came, but no check. Our waitress was at the register ringing out take out customers. I got up from the table, walked to the register and again asked for our check. A few minutes later the check finally came. We weren't in a rush, and we don't mind a bit of a wait. But this was a bit ridiculous. Customer service training is obviously lacking. We won't go back, which is too bad for them, especially if others have a similar experience and decide to take their business elsewhere too.

Yelp
This is a super cute cafe. Our waiter Dominic was very friendly and kind. The food was delicious!! I had the salmon BLT with arugula salad and it was amazing. They have homemade pop tarts which I took to go. I would highly recommend when in the area.

Yelp
Plenty of parking, reservations are recommended. Service was fast, food delicious. I don't usually like spinach but the spinach on the eggs Benedict was tasty!

Bryan C.

Yelp
Food was OK. The menu had enough variety but nothing I ate made me crave it for another time. Food portions were good. Coffee was very tasty and this is where the stars really come into play. Great flavor in the iced coffee even though the diluted ice can overwhelm the coffee quickly this flavor won this test of attrition. Cost of coffee was a little high but it's about the average cost of a good cup of coffee nowadays. Pastry selection was a little underwhelming. Service was great! I'd go back if I was in town for coffee and chatter with friends in the outside seating area. Dogs allowed outside!

Tom K.

Yelp
After having very subpar food at our stay at the Hyatt resort, this place save us so to speak. The food was amazing as was the service. Everything from our drinks, food amd service was wonderful! We were sad we found this at the end of our stay. Highly recommend!!

Ladd B.

Yelp
The food here is epic, truly amazing. But they must be proud of those accomplishments cuz staff are snooty, leaning toward rude. We had reservations and still waited nearly on hour past for a table and they didn't give any sympathy. Everything continued to be slow so we'll not be back on a weekend morning since they can't manage the crowd.

Yelp
Great breakfast spot in the heart of downtown Cambridge! Excellent muffins and breakfast choices!

Yelp
I have generally enjoyed my visits here over the years. The food is incredible. Last time I shared the breakfast triple and the acai bowl and they might be my new go-to combo of items. Side of pancakes are a must. For a drink, I thoroughly enjoyed Jill's recommendation, a hot coconut chai latte with oat milk. Their pastries, muffins, etc. are all great to grab and go. I also saw a catering order being filled one morning. Sadly, they are understaffed. While half empty for our first two days, it took a while for us to get our order in each time. Make reservations early! We went back on a Sunday and it was again half empty but each table was reserved. Even still it took about 15 minutes for one of the servers to get to us and say we wouldn't be able to get a table for another 30-45 minutes. Despite this, I will definitely be back the next time I'm in town.

Yelp
Cute. Easy to miss. Free parking. The Black Water bakery is very homey and inviting. The food is straightforward and tasted good. Service was friendly. They were busy when I came in but I wasn't in a hurry so the wait didn't bother me. They were noticeably short staffed. I got the Bourbon Bacon French Toast which would be better named Candied Pecan French Toast since you totally forget about the Bourbon and Bacon once you start eating and jabbing your fork into hunks of candied pecans. The Caramel Macchiato was perfect! They serve it to you in a mug similar to what you'd have at home. They are all different. The crab dip was salty but it did have noticeable crab meat in it.

Yelp
We were staying in the nearby Hyatt Regency and decided to venture out for some Sunday brunch. Seeing that this place has won some local awards, we stopped by to give it a try. We had to wait about 20-30 minutes (arrived close to noon on Sunday without a reservation). They have both indoor and outdoor seating. We sat indoors, which was a little noisy. Decor is really cute, and the place has an overall bustling atmosphere. Food took some time to come out, but it was super tasty when it did. We got the açaí bowl, banana foster French toast with sausage, and side of home fries. For drinks, we got espresso shot, fresh squeezed OJ, and chai latte. No complaints about anything, just note the latte was really sweet (much sweeter than I would've made myself but they didn't really ask for sweetness preference). We would definitely come back!

Yelp
Absolutely adorable spot in 'downtown' Cambridge! They have an inventive menu with lots of healthy options as well as pastries and decadent, more traditional breakfast fare. You can dine inside or out when the weather is nice, and there's street parking and parking in a nearby town lot. Open til 3 pm, it's ideal for breakfast, brunch, lunch. On the day we visited, we were a party of 3 and did not have a reservation. The place was busy but not packed, and after just a couple minutes wait, we were seated inside at a table facing the street. For our food: -- My hubby had a crab omelet with side of toast and scrapple; the omelet wasn't the largest we've ever seen, but it was perfectly cooked and seasoned with a good amount of crab - hubby thought it was very satisfying. The scrapple was new to us; the hubby loves a good corned-beef hash, so this was recommended as an alternative - it seemed to include all the ingredients for a hash, but was made into a patty and fried and pressed, so it looked like a dark piece of toast. He liked it and ate it all; -- I had the quinoa salad - it was a base of arugula with a couple tablespoons of cooked quinoa, plus pistachios, beets, goat cheese and a nice dressing. They offered me to add a protein and I asked if I could get some crab. Crab was not an option on the menu, but our server asked and was able to get me a small side of lump crab, which made a nice addition. A really nice, though light, brunch salad. -- Our friend had the quinoa breakfast bowl with black beans, salsa, avocado and an egg. It contained a LOT more quinoa than the salad, and looked great -- All of us had beverages, including special coffee drinks and fresh squeezed grapefruit juice. Service was great, and the place was constantly busy between parties, couples, take out orders and stragglers like us. We would definitely go again and try more of the menu!

Yelp
Happy with my pancakes, sausage, and coffee. Specifically, the sausage was clearly fresh made, not a pre-made patty or link. Huge selection of pastry's. Mgmt needs to recruit more staff!! Due to limited staff, miscommunication occurred w them, and we waited forever as our order sat getting cold behind the counter. We visited on a Saturday and the staff were hustling, and clearly needed more hands. There are signs saying Black Water is expanding, which appears there is good business to support.

Heathers P.

Yelp
Outstanding Açaí bowl! Excellent food, gourmet pastries, great coffee! Friendly service! Cute place, a must try!

Yelp
Talk about a gem in Cambridge!! We were in the area for the first time to visit the Underground Railroad site. This place popped up on yelp. Down in historic Cambridge. There is free parking right next door. You walk into the cutest coffee shop/bakery/cafe. The smells are divine. The pastry case called to us and we answered on the way out the door. Great coffee and tea options. Alcoholic stuff too! Could've gone for a mimosa or three but I had to drive. So what did we eat? Eggs and bacon and toast for my dad. Grilled cheese and tomato bisque for my mom. Pancake stack with bacon for the kiddo. Shakshuka for me. Cleared plates tell you how it was. How it was was delicious. Tasted a pancake. Also spot on. Got a blueberry turnover, cookie and bread pudding for the road. If you are in Cambridge, don't miss this place!!

Marjorie J.

Yelp
I love this place and always recommend it to my friends and guests as a "can't miss"! Has great atmosphere and wonderful food and baked goods.

Sue M.

Yelp
This place puts forth a big effort! It gets busy but it's good food made to order. Breakfast and lunch brings on some hustle and bustle so sit back and enjoy the hometown vibe and a very tasty beverage....everything from great coffees to creative cocktails. The Nashville Hot Chicken is on point but absolute favorite is the Green Giant Omelet. Try the Lucious coconut cake, too!

Yelp
I stopped in to grab carryout while staying at an Airbnb nearby. I went on a Monday so it was relatively quiet - lots of tables available and no line at the carryout counter. I ordered the quiche and the plain Jane Sammie on a croissant and added bacon. I also got from the bakery: blueberry muffin, pop tart, and the apple dumplings. Everything was PHENOMENAL!!!! The quiche was one of the best I've ever had - so fluffy and buttery. The croissant for the sammie was huge and flaky - the sandwich itself was humongo! I got an arugula salad for both and it was delish. The dressing was so good. The pastries were to die for - especially the apple dumplings!!!!! I'm in love. I can't wait to come back again

Yelp
This is my second time coming to this bakery on the way back from Assateague Island going home towards Washington DC. The beauty of Yelp is their search function and one of my favorites is always looking for the local bakery. I first discovered this bakery last year, driving through Cambridge as my sweet tooth was in full drive. So happy to have stumbled upon this cute little bakery to pick up some scrumptious and homemade desserts. Now, if you ask me what I had last year, I now that I went a little overboard and got some German chocolate cookies, a piece of cake, and some other desserts. This year, I picked up their apple dumplings a peanut butter cookie and their German chocolate cookies once again. My favorite by far was the apple dumpling, it was so deliciously good that you just want to lick your fork to get the extra sugar all around it. Oh and let me tell you about the epic and moist peanut butter cookie that was so good that I was disappointed in myself or not getting two. Again a fan favorite was the German chocolate cookies, you can't go wrong. I had also gotten an iced coffee and brought it to the restaurant I went to right after and I saw that the cubes were made of coffee...bravo what a great idea, wish they did this in Washington, DC. As I write this, I am looking forward to my next trip to Assateague Island as this will be my traditional layover on the way back to DC.

Yelp
After enjoying a great vacation in Ocean City, we were driving home along the 50W. It was 10:30 am and we wanted to have a relaxed brunch. My wife found this place on Google and decided to give it a try. Super nice staff, good food, nice relaxed small town bakery and a coffee shop ambience! We ordered French toast and breakfast trio with house fries and biscuit as sides, and pancakes for kids. Food was great. I thought biscuit was a bit dry for sides but well, it's generally eaten with gravy, so should taste great with some gravy. Even the butter they gave was so delicious. They gave us coffee refill (no extra charge) and look at those beautiful coffee mugs. They even gave an extra free cookie for kids! This place is quite relaxed...neither the customers nor the staff are in any super hurry. So, if you are looking for a quick service, this may not be the place. To add to this experience, cheese cake was awesome too...not too sweet like ones you get in Cheese Cake factory.

Yelp
I stumbled (literally) upon this bakery and I am so glad I did! When I walked in the smell of muffins, chocolate chip cookies, and baked goodness wafted up my nose and into my heart! To say I was overwhelmed with the smells would be an understatement - it was such a treat to walk into this spot!!! I am not a coffee drinker so their signs explaining the differences was super helpful and I ended up ordering a specialty drink sans coffee and it was divine! Next time I am in Cambridge, I will be stopping by for that carrot cake that looked delicious!!!

Yelp
Great for brunch! Food is great and served in generous portions. Bloody Mary was fantastic. Don't go if you're in a hurry. Service is slow AF.

Lauren S.

Yelp
Food was excellent. Our party of three ordered the crab omelette (delightful!), quinoa breakfast bowl (delicious!) and the chicken pot pie which was medium good and a little heavy. It was hard to choose as everything looked so good. Service was prompt and very friendly. Server Chloe was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Ambiance was quaint (small) with both inside and outside seating. The owner visited our table to ask our feedback. Reservations are recommended as it is small. When we arrived our name was on our previously reserved table waiting for us. We would recommend this place.

Sara K.

Yelp
Black Water Bakery is a gem in downtown Cambridge! A friend and I stopped in for lunch and shared a delicious turkey and cranberry panini, plus a fabulous beet and arugula salad. Service was quick and the servers were very friendly - we will be back!

Yelp
A "hidden" gem in historic Cambridge MD! First impression was "OK, feeling very safe" as 8 local police officers are dining! From coffee, delicious breakfast - I had Chorizo Tacos and Cheddar Grits - and fresh made breads and pastries, everything we sipped and tasted was 5-star good!! Entire staff was hospitable and welcoming. Got there abt 915am on a Sunday, and every seat was taken, so we knew we found "THE place". It was our first visit, and will now be our "Go To" for breakfast whenever passing through Cambridge MD! Ambiance was cozy and peaceful, not loud and busy (even as it was busy)! Give it a try!!

Paul E.

Yelp
Wonderful food, wonderful service. A true gem of not only Cambridge but the Eastern Shore as a whole. Go there you will love it!
google avatar

Angel R.

Yelp
I visited the bakery on a Friday morning while visiting Cambridge for the first time. The vanilla latte was perfect and was served in a fun mug. I ordered the pancakes with the pecan and bacon topping with sausage. The pancakes were very fluffy and the bacon was crispy but I could've had more. The sausage was seasoned nicely and flattened like I make it at home. Service was excellent. I will definitely return!
google avatar

Judy H.

Yelp
We would like to go back and try again but will definitely get there wayyyy before closing time. I wish the hostess explained why they stopped serving food an hour before closing? I mean the right thing to do being in the hospitality industry would be to apologize and given it was our first time there maybe provide a gift card or discount on next visit.
google avatar

Yelp
Yum!!! Delicious coffee and food! Staff is very friendly and it's adorable inside. We were visiting Cambridge and stopped here on our way out of town- we were not disappointed

Tom ..

Yelp
Had coffee and baked goods this morning with a friend. Jamis and the staff were welcoming and attentive throughout our entire time there. Great atmosphere and love the new expansion space. The place for breakfast and lunch in Cambridge

Yelp
Be nice. Do unto others as they as do unto you, or maybe just "drink water and mind your business".

Yelp
Blackwater bakery has some of the most scrumptious pastries, fresh savory flavored coffee, lavender a must try. And of course the crab omlette with a side of home fries will keep you coming back for more. Call ahead for reservations especially on the weekends the place stays packed because the food is just that good.

Katie D.

Yelp
Love Blackwater Bakery! I eat there pretty regularly and always have a hard time choosing from the menu--it's all delicious. Today I ordered the quiche lorraine with arugula, which never fails to impress. The staff are professional, friendly, and efficient. The new space is beautiful and much needed--this is a popular place! Who knew you would need reservations at a bakery?
google avatar

Michelle F.

Yelp
Lovely restaurant in the downtown Cambridge area. I love, love the Veggie omelette and get it to go all of the time using the Toast app and get rewards.
google avatar

Bianca S.

Yelp
Small, very busy make sure you call ahead for reservations on any Friday, Saturday or Sunday morning for brunch or breakfast during the week can be busy as well worth the weight worth the price. The best part about this place Hass to be that they make their ice cubes for their ice coffee out of frozen coffee so it never waters down, here is amazing. You will enjoy this place if you are having a quick breakfast or brunch on a date or a girls breakfast owl not very kid friendly they do provide crayons and there is table cloth made of paper that you can draw on.

Yelp
I loved visiting this cute local bakery on my visit to Cambridge. I came twice during my stay here, one to do a curbside pickup and the other to go inside for a pickup order. The first visit I got the breakfast quinoa bowl, a piece of pumpkin bread, and a honey lavender chai--all on the Toast app which was really easy to order. It even gave me a $5 birthday reward plus a $7 reward with the two orders I placed, which really helped! So I recommend signing up for their Toast account. The quinoa bowl was so good and light, nice and healthy--it gave me a good idea to recreate this to eat for breakfast at home. The pumpkin bread and chai were delicious too. The next time I came, I ordered a slice of pistachio chocolate cake, a peppermint mocha latte, and the green giant omelet (asparagus, smoked gouda, and bacon which I opted out of). This time I used my birthday reward which had to be redeemed in person, so I came in to order. Unfortunately, my order seemed to have been forgotten after I ordered it--I watched as customer after customer came in after me, and after 20 mins I checked in and my omelet was made and just sitting in the kitchen I think. She gave me my food but forgot the latte, so I had to ask for that. She made it quickly and it was nearly 35 mins later when I left with my food. On the drive I took a sip, and the latte didn't taste anything like peppermint so I had to go back and get more syrup added. By then it was nearly 45 mins later that I left with my food :( so I was bummed about that and took off a star for that. The staff was nice, but I think were understaffed and forgot about my order which is never fun. I would give them another chance though and go back if I am in this side of town again.

It was a rainy, but bustling day here at Black Water Bakery in Cambridge, MD. Perfect day for brunch with my girls! (One all the way from Hilo, HI) The atmosphere here at Black Water Bakery is pretty laid back, service exceptional, despite the Sunday morning crowd. For someone local to the area, it's always my go to for out of town guest, as the menu is extensive, and delectable! To start, I had THE BEST GF muffin to date. This yummy muffin was chalk full of chocolate chips and a beautiful banana flavor. It paired perfectly with my oat milk latte. Creamy texture and fantastic espresso richness! I added two fluffy scrambled eggs and added an order of extra crispy bacon. They never disappoint here at Black Water. It's my favorite breakfast stop in Cambridge, MD, here on the Eastern Shore. Thanks for another great visit!
