Blackbird coffee & vintage

Small coffee shop just few of chairs take one and seat next of river, all the baked goods are homemade. I had a filter coffee and a Dutch sweet. I enjoyed the experience and recommend stopping by this place.

This is the best flat white I had in all of Utrecht. Found this small coffee shop at a corner by chance. Although they don’t have sitting space, the coffee was of high quality. Can highly recommend them

Really enjoyed my coffee at Blackbird. The Americano was well made, and the service was prompt and friendly. There’s no indoor seating—just a small bench outside—but even in winter it’s lovely to enjoy a good cup in a proper mug by the canal. A great experience overall.

Cute little place to have a quick coffee (: Love that they offer organic brews! Had their cappuccino which was good; although I prefer it a tad stronger, I don't blame them because I know that one shot of espresso is quite common, just keep that in mind!

Lovely staff. Nice coffee and plenty of workspace seating if you want to do some work or study. They don't serve substantial food options but there are some great looking pastries and nibbles to choose from. It's close to some great shops in the area as well so come to relax a bit before you continue your journey.

Service with a smile, and in English! She brought my cappuccino to me as I sat out front facing the canal. Exactly the place I was looking for while spending a leisurely day exploring Utricht.

Blackbird is perfectly located on beautiful Oudegracht in the centre of Utrecht and is selling great coffee and vintage items. Blackbird is situated in quite a small space but has lots to offer. Not only they brew good coffee but also sell art, 60-70s style furniture, t-shirts and vintage bicycles. It is one of the first espresso bars in Utrecht combining the possibility of drinking coffee with shopping. Blackbird uses Koffieslab beans which are nice but sometimes have a sour note (don't kill the messenger, it's a personal preference). Apart from coffee Blackbird has a small menu with breakfast, dessert and refreshing drinks options. Baked goodies are made from biological products and are quite ok, but unfortunately very inconsistent and definitely not the best in town. Overall, Blackbird is a nice place for a cup of coffee and definitely a noticeable stop in search for interesting vintage items. Really liked this small coffee place that makes great cappuccino and also apparently sells vintage bikes (!). Coffee is surprisingly good and the atmosphere is laid back and conducive to reading and talking. Plus it's right on the canal so great location.

Delicious coffee, friendly service, and such a cute vintage interior. Loved it. Would def. be back.
