Blackbird has been outstanding. Every person from the beginning has been amazing. They are patient, understanding and professional. They take their time and actually listen. They make suggestions and always make me feel like my son’s needs are a priority.

1/5/26 Blackbird reached out to see where they can improve. I appreciate the effort. I seems the portal system is new amd listed availability that wasnt actually there on 12/31/25. We will continue care and update review in a couple of months 12/31/25 No way to contact office directly. I have had 3 appointments canceled on me with NO NOTICE AT ALL, no phone call, no text, no portal messages, nothing! Communication is awful. I'm angry I have wasted months for this place to help my son, and no one seems to care.

Updating to share that I was contacted and very happy with the resolution and response. I felt our “provider” was flippant, diminished our experience, and was not at all affirming or even curious about our concerns. I am going to continue with the treatment plan because hopefully we will see other people now -but I will not subject my child to another minute with that man in person or virtually.

My granddaughter‘s therapist Chara Is very professional and really relates with my granddaughter. Therapy sessions are going great very impressed with the entire system at BLACKBIRD health. They are helping her tremendously.

I was so excited when I found Blackbird Health because of how difficult it has been to find services for my son. The communication is terrible. Everything goes through a portal which doesn't seem to be monitored very well. I had to call every day for a month to finally receive the OT evaluation. When I finally completed that, and called to schedule an OT appointment, the woman who answered told me they don't offer OT. It clearly states on their website that they offer OT as well as several other in person therapies. Being a special needs parent is so challenging, and it's so upsetting to have zero communication or understanding how to get support. If anyone has had success navigating this with Blackbird I'd greatly appreciate insight

Britney is a wonderful NP Counselor! She is easy to talk to, tells you like it is but gently delivers what she has to say to my teen daughter in the way that makes sense.

I was able to schedule an appointment for an initial eval rather quickly; however, when the Dr called to do the initial 90min eval w/ my daughter (who is in need to care) she asked her questions that NO child would answer to a stranger; especially on an initial phone consultation, and in front of their parent! My daughter has a severe eating disorder, and the DR claims she needs a follow up in 3 weeks before they’ll consider counseling!!! Her pediatrician said if she loses any more weight within the next 4 weeks, she will be hospitalized for her eating disorder. She’s only 16, and has lost 70lbs in a few short years!!! I’m SO angry, and will not be continuing care w/ them!!! My child needs help asap!!! What’s up with our mental health system?!?! Why are they SO flawed?!!!

We seen Chelsea and she was great, very thorough, informative, down to earth and seems to really care. Answered a million questions with a smile. This finally seems like we are going in the right direction!
