Rooms and location were great, but when it comes to service "cheap" is the first word that comes to mind. The room was comfy and quaint, the locations is walking distance from everything, but the staff don't know what they are doing. Ever pay $300 a night and get toast with two tablespoon of microwaved eggs on top and 3 strawberries as breakfast (on Valentine's Day)? Ever be told to get out or a $50 charge for each additional 30 minutes after checkout will be levied, mind you this is a 8 bedroom place and the 1 maid showed up at noon, 1 hour after checkout, with check-ins being at 3pm. They waited and charged us double for handing them the keys at 11:28am. The staff was the main issue. Cheap food, service, nickle and dime you, also all the rooms are the same size but they are hundreds of dollars apart in price. You can find a better place. Edit: And now they are lying in their response. They waited to charge us, I watched the receptionist do it because I had to walk past her 3 times with the bags, also no help. We and our stuff was out of the room, she sat there with her coffee, pulled up my file a few minutes after the late charge time and charged us, without checking. Also they literally took my gf's ONE egg scramble toast and said "we'll microwave you a new one, give us 5 minutes" because it was so cold. All of there rooms are the same size too, there is a schematic on the second floor, don't pay for the "big ones". Maybe you should have done your job right and just not overcharged us. I also watched the maid drive up and park next to me while we were packing up. Yeah she was not on site.

We came to Napa to pick up our beloved dog’s ashes from a place nearby and decided to stay the night. The trip had somber moments but my husband and I were very pleased with our stay here and plan to stay here again in the future under happier circumstances. The staff were very friendly, the food was good, the house is beautiful, our room was great, the bed and pillows were comfortable and the location is pretty amazing. Downtown starts on the next block of 1st street so we were there in no time. It was great to be able to leave our car parked and just walk over and not worry about parking and were able to enjoy wine and walk back. There was a mixup with the breakfast times and it was totally out my fault, I wasn’t thinking straight when we got there but the person who was doing breakfast the next morning was very understanding and kind about it.

Top notch! The service was amazing, the accommodation and atmosphere was so charming! It was so convenient to everything we wanted to see. 10/10 would stay here again!

My 3- night stay was made incredible because of the location, and due to the other pleasant guests (now friends) staying at the Blackbird Inn & Finch Guest House. ||The staff who served breakfast each morning were slightly helpful, but not unpleasant. Nicole Titus, manager, is inappropriate and unprofessional. As I’m writing this review, I was told by Nicole to write it, after I mentioned to her that I would not want to leave it based on her inability to understand my point of view regarding a fee I was charged for a towels covered with my clean ingredient makeup (I’ve been using Ilia brand for years and it washes out of other towels at other establishments, and my own towels). I was never charged a fee anywhere else, except at this place. Martha, assistant manager, was approachable about the situation. ||On the first night, regarding the room, I noticed that the TV and the fireplace screen was covered with streaks, and the mirror in the bathroom and the mirror on the closet door were covered with streaks. The patio furniture was dusty. Also, I noticed cobweb’s in some areas. I received prompt service from Martha to help me turn on the fireplace. The breakfast and happy hour each day is 3 stars out of 5. And the pillows, bedding, and mattress are average.

We just spent 4 nights here for our honeymoon and the entire experience was wonderfully amazing. We ended up arriving much earlier than anticipated and Nicole at the front desk was so accommodating. They let us drop our bags and watched them while we explored downtown until the room was ready. The building itself is gorgeous, so much detailed woodwork and beautiful stained glass. It felt homey yet very elegant. The breakfast every morning was fresh, well thought out, and delicious. The daily wine and charcuterie board offerings in the afternoons were a delightful touch and we enjoyed getting to chat with other visitors. We stayed in one of the king suites and the room was clean, well appointed and had a balcony that felt like our own private garden oasis. We highly recommend this establishment, the staff were thoughtful and kind, the amenities were abundant, and you are literally a 5 minute walk from everything downtown Napa. Thank you Blackbird Inn, you helped make our honeymoon unforgettable!

We stayed 3 nights and had a great stay. We liked the charm of antique furnishings. It was within walking distance to restaurants and shops in town. They had nice breakfasts, cookies and soft drinks all day, and a complimentary wine hour from 5-6 pm. Martha, the assistant manager was awesome as she helped a with our queries and assisted to book a wine reservation for us. The rooms were spacious and well appointed with the niceties you would find at a small boutique hotel. We will stay there again next time we are in Napa, for sure!

We stayed 2 nights at the Blackbird Inn in Aug 2024, the service was fantastic. The staff went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed, the breakfast and happy hour were both fantastic. The location was close to downtown with great access to area attractions. I highly recommended Blackbird Inn

Google
What a charming place. It felt like staying with friends. There is a daily happy hour with a charcuterie board and a choice of 2 or 3 wines. Beverages are available (free) throughout the day be it coffee or sodas as well a home cookies. The breakfasts are a nice portion to get you ready for your day of wine tasting. This was a nice find and we would stay here again.

Yelp
This place was so cute. Located only about 2-3 blocks from Downtown which made it easy to walk there to drink and not have to worry about driving. Convenient parking in the back, super clean rooms, small breakfast served in the mornings, and good shower pressure. What else can you ask for? My only complaint is that our room, which was room 1, was located next to the breakfast area and we could hear breakfast being set up very early. Otherwise I loved my stay. I highly recommend staying here.

Yelp
Fantastic bed and breakfast in downtown Napa! Blackbird Inn is a super cozy, craftsman style house, with all the added features of a lovely B&B. They have a wine and cheese happy hour from 5-6pm, breakfast at either 8:30am or 9:15am, baked cookies, and a drink station (coffee, tea, soda). We were greeted upon arrival and given the key to room 1. Room 1 had a wonderfully warm fireplace and an outdoor patio with its own entrance. The decor was charming and there was nice craftsmanship throughout the building. The windows had lovely stained glass designs added to it. There was a lovely charcuterie board for happy hour with one red (cab) and one white (Chardonnay) wine. It was a lovely treat. The inn has books to read, photos to look at, and a chess set to play. The inn also has wifi and cable TV with hbo and showtime. For breakfast, we had salmon frittata, fruit, and yogurt. The only downside to this experience was that I found a small, black, rubbery circle in my salmon frittata that wasn't edible. No one knows how it got in there, but they apologized about it. Other than that, the experience at Blackbird Inn was really nice. I would definitely like to stay here again.

Yelp
I stayed at Blackbird's for my birthday weekend and had a very relaxing time. Loved the comfortable bed, luxuriously plush robe, breakfast, cookies, wine and cheese hour, environmentally conscious bath products(Bee Kind), outlets that accommodate to all types of charging cords and the cozy feel of the place. Location was within walking distance to downtown Napa. Last but not least a very quiet setting except for the cars that drove by. Things that got in the way - Guatemalan coffee that I found later is high in caffeine. Couldn't sleep throughout the night. Have to remember to limit my coffee intake no matter where I stay.Didn't understand the heating system fully until 2nd night. They had info in binder but didn't take the time to read it carefully. The system was very quiet so no excuses but something to be mindful of going forward.

Yelp
We came here for a birthday celebration and really enjoyed our time. It was such a great location within walking distance to downtown with lots of restaurants, bars, tasting rooms, and shops. Perfect location. They even left us a welcome wine gift for our arrival. See photo. Breakfast was great. Filling and tasty. Lots of coffee although it wasn't always refilled throughout the day which would've been nice. They have a happy hour with wine and some appetizer/charcuterie bites. This was really nice because at that time of the day it was nice to take a breather and sit on the porch with a glass of wine. They also had little fridges with non alcoholic drinks in each building. It has sodas and sparkling water which was a nice treat. Our room was great. It was spacious with a fireplace and a huge bathroom. There was a jacuzzi tub and shower. The bed was comfy and we heard no noise at night even though we were on the first floor by the entrance. Everything was secure with keys to enter the buildings and the rooms. Check in and check out were easy. There was plenty of parking on site too. My only constructive feedback was that the staff situation felt more like a hotel. There wasn't a lot of engagement like I've had at other B&Bs where the owners/staff are around during breakfast or check in to give hints on places to go or ideas for activities. Check out was just a sign to "leave keys here" and check in was also very straightforward with little engagement. I don't really need this but it was certainly different than other B&B experiences. The lack of availability did frustrate me a bit when I had a question during breakfast and couldn't find someone for over 15 min. I even called the number at the desk and an answering service picked up. I prefer to keep to myself with someone available if an issue arises so this didn't affect my experience much. But something to think about if you prefer more engagement or interaction.

Yelp
If you want to live inside a work of art and appreciate 1920's authentic Craftsman Green and Green architecture, decor and carpentry this is the inn for you. This was a restoration effort by the owner who is a skilled carpenter. Conveniently located walking distance from the Main Street where there are boutiques and a plethora of cafes, Art galleries, restaurants and tasting rooms. If you walk over a short overpass you can walk a bit further to Oxbow market, known as a gourmet food court. The Inn serves a very simply presented breakfast ( plain eggs and fruit ,cinnamon rolls, or biscuits and gravy and no meats )every morning and they can cater to dietary restrictions or preference with a smile. The breakfast is plated cafeteria style wrapped in plastic wrap on the sideboard in the living room due to Covid precautions. Coffee and cold drinks are available in public fridge all day . Also champagne !!!!! We enjoyed our stay. Thank you Blackbird Inn for giving us a chance to live inside an architectural work of art and gem. Amazing restoration. We will be back to live in a piece of artwork again. Five stars for the contribution to the Arts and preserving historical buildings.

Yelp
Our entire experience last week was wonderful. After spending hours trying to find the perfect spot to stay, I chose Blackbird Inn based on the reviews. It was ideal! From the moment we checked in, being greeted by the manager Nicole, to checking out two days later, we enjoyed our entire experience. We stayed in room #9. Choose that one! Huge bathroom with a big (I'm 6 feet tall and I fit comfortably) spa tub. The happy hour was great, as was the breakfast. They will even do a special breakfast. And do NOT miss out on the incredible chocolate chip cookies they put out in the afternoon!

Yelp
Disclaimer - We did not stay here, but was looking to book for a large party, two months. The customer service was not a good experience. 1st call was just to ask if there was availability for our dates of stay for a party needing 7 rooms. The person who answered the phone confirmed the dates and the number of rooms and clearly stated that there was availability. In fact they said to check out their website and review the rooms as they were all different and then we could either book online or call back to make the booking. 2nd call - the next day, since members of the group had questions, called and spoke to the same person from the day before (sounded like the same individual). Asked about breakfast options as the review were poor in that department. Then asked about the availability again for the dates and the number of rooms needed I was then told that there was no availability and that I would have needed to call months ahead to have booked that. I explained that I called yesterday and I was told that there was availability. This individual stated that they were working all yesterday and they did not receive a call. I'm only leaving this review because from the onset this is bad customer service when either 1.) not all employees are on the same page or 2.) clearly the one person answering the phone isn't consistent with their information. I know I called the same number as it's in my call log and I understand that depending on certain factors things can book up quickly, and I understand that people can get busy and not remember details from one day to the next... But to be given opposing information in such a short period of time, it just seems like you don't have all your ducks in a row. And that's indicative of what service may be overall. Hope you can do better.

Yelp
First the positives: good location, walk to stores/ restaurants in 5-10 minutes. Super clean. Bed comfortable. A/C worked great. Staff very helpful. Now the negatives: chairs in room and in balcony felt like sitting on a rock. Shower had two settings: warm-ish and "book me a room at the burn unit" hot. Food was so sub-par. I've had better meals at a Howard Johnson's. Absolutely no effort whatsoever. First morning was salmon on white bread with chive cream cheese. They don't even serve it. They cover it in plastic wrap and leave it out for you at your assigned time- Like I'm a cat. Second morning was almond butter on toast with bananas. WEAK! They leave "fresh" cookies out which actually were pretty tasty but I was scared I'd crack a tooth on them as they were obviously a few days old. The evening "snacks" were one small charcuterie plate to share with all the guests and two (1red1white) bottles of wine. Again, no one serving. No one greeting you. No one checking on how your stay is. It was weird. I've never stayed at a B and B that was so impersonal. Just not what we wanted or expected.

Yelp
We really enjoyed our stay at the Blackbird Inn in late July. When we had arrived, they had wine and individual snack plates available to take to our room. We were not in the main building but the building next door. When we walked into our building, there was a mini fridge with a few sodas available. Our room itself was nice. It wasn't particularly large, but it was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was very nice. We also had a small porch where we had breakfast in the morning. At check in, we were offered 2 breakfast time slots to choose from. In the morning, we went and grabbed our plates that were freshly prepared and took them back to our room to enjoy. Both buildings had beautiful character, the staff was friendly, and the breakfast was good. We especially enjoyed our porch and the wine and snacks when we arrived. I'd absolutely stay here again and I'd recommend it to anyone I know.

Yelp
My wife and I stayed here three days and absolutely loved this place. They served you breakfast every morning. Had a beautiful bottle of wine and cheese at 5 PM, a refrigerator with drinks when needed, and all the amenities you need. The room was clean, temperature controlled and spacious. The employees are super friendly and answer any of your questions. It's located close to everything down Main Street just a few minutes walk away. We highly recommend this place to anybody and will definitely come back with more friends and family in the Spring.

Yelp
This is hand down a hidden gem of Napa Valley and one of the nicest plus cutest Inn I have stayed in. The Blackbird Inn is more like three in one a hotel, a Inn plus a bed & breakfast, I did my homework and found this place to fit our needs. We check with Emily the front desk clerk, she was very warm welcoming helpful and the kindness she showed toward us was just awesome. The had disposable face mask plus hand sanitizer on hand for the guests, Emily gave us our room key in a sanitizer wipe, we stop in the the kitchen and cozy lounge area for fresh cookies daily and coffee and tea. The room was cozy and clean, the wood work here was just Immaculate with framed photos a rug on the wall, a fireplace, a sound proof drape for the front door, a comfortable bed with comfortable pillows, his and her robes a private entrance patio with a chairs a table plus a fountain. Lastly I want to give a great big shout out to staff Emily who went about and beyond to help. I made reservation at Syumin Yu cmt for a couple massage being a special occasion about a week in advance, long story short we get there 30 mins. the door was open a man there stated that they were close due to the rise in Omicrom, he stated that he called everyone to inform them but he forgot me or he lied I didn't received any text. We get back to the Inn Emily took time to call other places in the area, she did not find one, but never the less I greatly appreciate her time and effort, she get an five star all by herself. I highly recommend Blackbird Inn.

Yelp
If you are looking for client care, this IS Not, recommended from two housing Professionals. From 7 a.m. - 11:00 a.m, loud work was performed 5 feet from our bedroom window, for the duration of our, early Valentine Stay, short and much needed get away. I simply asked for a Credit Concession, as we all know, the little simple acknowledgements go along way. The owners declined ANY credit back. While I am now taking my time to share, upon a little early of an arrival, after a long rainy drive, we were told, in a most unprofessional way...front desk employee lacking any, introduction warmth...no restroom was available due to a flooding issue. Lastly, because I think everything matters, she told us the small...but appeared like it could be cozy, happy hour sitting area, would only...use the big, fireplace at happy hour. Simply sharing as we all...have many choices.

Yelp
Sadly we had hoped for a lot better. Pros: The house is really beautiful and in a good location. The room was quite pretty with a jetted tub. Cons: Breakfast. I understand some COVID precautions still being in place, but given what we paid, syran-wrapped metal lunch trays just didn't hit the mark. And then the actual food itself was so bad we left and went somewhere else. We had "eggs benedict." But the eggs were clearly microwaved poached because they had that same shape and they were so rubbery. And then the sauce was a clumpy runny white sauce, nothing like hollandaise. Honestly, until they improve breakfast, I would recommend staying elsewhere.

Yelp
Let's be honest. I felt that the Blackbird Bird only deserved a 4-star rating instead of the 5 if it wasn't for someone who was there not in a service capacity but working on the plumbing in the new building. The Inn is a pretty, warm and inviting place and the staff is super friendly. The rooms were comfortable though Room 5 was a little small for the price. I was tempted to use the bathtub jacuzzi but there were no instructions (or at least I could not find them in any of the obvious places). The breakfast was very nice but it seemed to be made of small food items. I wish I could have spent some time at the afternoon wine and cheese but was a little too tired by that time. As for the plumber, someone broke the quarter window of my car while I was in Oakland having dinner with a friend. The next morning as I was walking out to my car, the plumber noticed the broken glass and he offered to help me tape up the broken glass temporarily. He went out of his way to even bring out his vacuum cleaner so that I could clean up the glass shards in and around my car. He earned the extra star for the Inn and I recommend the Inn for a more romantic visit to Napa.

Yelp
We stayed at the Blackbird Inn during our 4 day stay in Napa - Ms. S originally booked the room as the Blackbird Inn was part of the Four Sisters Inns but we were later informed that they sold and were now independent. We took the ground floor room so I didn't have to lug a full Pelikan wine carrier up (and down) the stairs - the room was large with a private outdoor sitting area. Breakfasts were pre-plated and wrapped (I assume due to COVID precautions), there always was parking in their lot and the location is just a couple of blocks from Napa Town.

Yelp
Another weekend and another great stay. A nice walk into town and then a relaxing glass of wine before heading out for dinner. They always make a great restaurant recommendation. Don't sleep in and miss the breakfast that is provided

Yelp
Hands down the best Inn I have ever stayed at! From the minute we checked in to the time we left we treated with such warmth and kindness from the staff. The inn itself is so beautiful and very very clean! We stayed during Covid so this was something very important to us. Everything had been very deeply cleaned, and you could tell! Our room was immaculate. We were staying for our anniversary and when we got to our room there was a card and some champagne!! What a sweet, unexpected and extremely appreciated gesture. The next morning we had the most delicious breakfast (that was included in the room fee!!) and it was perfectly enjoyed from our private balcony off our room. I cannot recommend this inn enough! Emily the GM and her staff are truly exceptional! Thank you so much for a truly memorable stay.

Kay K.

Yelp
Don't waste your money or vacation time here! On the positive the bedroom and bath were clean and comfortable that is all that was good about this place. We stayed two nights and wish we had chosen another place. There is a major street right next to the home and the noise day and night was ridiculous! The breakfast was horrid! They Saran wrapped over a previously frozen small waffle and grapes and strawberries that should have been thrown out a few days before. They served it on a cafeteria style tray that I am not sure was clean. There was NO one serving the food or no one to ask questions if we had any. The "wine and cheese" was costco wine and literally a glob of hummus and a few crackers slapped on a plate. Again no staff at all! How can you call it a B&B if there is no staff?? A motel has more interaction with staff then this place! Really a sad place.

Jill M.

Yelp
We had an excellent stay at the Blackbird Inn. First, the building is beautiful with hand crafted wood work. There is a daily happy hour of wine and cheese as well as morning breakfast. Our room was cozy with a warm fireplace. The staff is incredibly welcoming and helpful. You can easily walk to bars, restaurants and Oxbow Market...all less than a mile. I highly recommend.

Yelp
The cutest bed and breakfast with a great location! This is a craftsman style house that was inspired by Greene and Greene. Beautiful stained glass door, decor and landscaping. The breakfast was pretty yummy! The have all kinds of breakfast breads and a toaster. I made myself an everything bagel with cream cheese. They had sausages and artichoke quiche, both delicious. They had a dutch pancake which was ok. A variety of juice, coffee, teas, and sodas. The second day there was bacon and cheesy eggs. I enjoyed both days! They also have wine hour with white and red wines and cheese. The staff were all very friendly. The location was great. It was about a 5 minute walk to a street with all kinds of restaurants. We tried Oenotri which was great. It was 15 minutes to Napa wineries and 20 minutes to Sonoma. Perfect location!!

Yelp
Highly recommend the Black Bird Inn for a relaxing stay in Downtown Napa! The Inn has a quaint and historic vibe. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed with daily homemade cookies, coffee, hot tea, charming breakfast, and daily happy hours. Our room was beautiful with a personal balcony, fire place and jacuzzi tub. Great location in a quiet neighborhood, walking distance to Downtown's restaurants, tasting rooms, and antique shops. The perfect retreat for couples, wine enthusiasts, and vacation-goers!

Yelp
We had a phenomenal time staying here for a couple of days for a long weekend getaway. We parked in the private lot in the back of the house and checked in when we arrived. We were given the room & house key (for after hours) and a map for the area. The house is absolutely beautiful and cozy (only 8 guest rooms). We stayed in a room that had robes, jucuzzi tub, balcony & a fire place. The bed was super comfortable. The staff was great. (Shout out to Emily for being so friendly when we checked in and giving us recommendations on places to check out in the area!) This place is in a great location too. It's a very short walk to downtown Napa. And we felt totally safe walking between the inn and downtown late at night. (you actually walk right by the policy station) Plenty to see and do within walking distance including live music, tasting rooms and restaurants. Breakfast is provided every morning as well as wine and cheese hour in the early evening. I don't think I would want to stay anywhere else if I came back to Napa!

Steve G.

Yelp
Filthy and Gross!! We've stayed at many many B&B and hotels and this place was by far one of the worst. I don't how they've got all these great reviews, but I'm convinced that they are fake. This place is NASTY! Carpets haven't been washed or replaced in probably over 40 years. Sheets were dirty. Bathroom sink was constantly clogged from the minute we got there. The whole place was filthy and disgusting. I'd never go to this stinky sh*t-hole again! I'd give them a negative 5 star for my review, if that was an option. Horrible experience!

Yelp
The blackbird in is a charming little place. The property is an old Victorian stylish home in downtown Napa. The location is perfect and just a short 5 min walk to all the restaurants and wineries. Visiting during COVID the staff (Luna) was very welcoming and extremely helpful with our request and made us feel at home right way. The evening wine, cheese and crackers were delicious as well as the eggs and ham in the morning. I highly recommend this Bed and Breakfast to anyone looking for a relaxing night, comfortable bed and high level service in DT Napa. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Cute, cozy, quaint and quiet b&b. With free wine, fresh cookies and a plated breakfast each day it's just an added bonus to the comfortable room with a fireplace. Our room had a jacuzzi tub as well. Our entire stay was very relaxing and just what we needed for a getaway

Yelp
Looking for a calm, cozy, romantic getaway? Look no further, Blackbird Inn near downtown Napa is the place! Here you will receive a very warm welcome, with friendly innkeepers briefly helping you familiarize yourself with the nice wineries nearby as well as pointing out the standout restaurants in the surrounding area. The amenities of this B&B are fabulous. If you are able to, definitely select the downstairs corner room, as it has a small private patio, with your own entrance/exit leading to the street which takes you to great shops and restaurants within a quick, safe walk. The bed at Blackbird is extremely comfortable, the fireplace beautiful and very warming, perfect for chilly nights. For breakfast you have options: enjoy your meal outside of your room, take a plate back to your room, or have the plates delivered to your room for $10/per person per day. Opting for the later, was a great experience. You can stay in the plush robe offered and enjoy your private patio or simply stay in bed - isn't that what a B&B is all about? The food itself was good, and somewhat tailored to the guest's preferences (time of arrival, vegetarian, milk or cream, salsa etc.), however, guests may expect the food to be homey, not gourmet. Melon/cantaloupe pieces, large portion of oatmeal, eggs (hard boiled- not the most ideal for eating on the bed I found - another in a type of soufflé/quiche form), bacon is crisp, American coffee, and a croissant (I've had better bread as this one was a bit cold). It's the extra touches which really make this B&B special. With freshly baked crunchy oatmeal cookies awaiting you in the lobby/gathering area in the early evening, as well as the complimentary happy hour providing wine, cheeses, and crudités, you may want to stay in. Add a large, clean, hot tub into the mix, and you may never want to leave at all!

Yelp
super cute bed and breakfast!! it has a cabin vibe so if you're into that then you will love with place! i highly recommend it

Yelp
We had such a lovely time this weekend at the Black bird Inn. Great location. Easy to walk to downtown Napa. The breakfast was great, they were very accommodating to my allergies!

Yelp
Amazing stay, the rooms were clean and comfy. Amazing location, right on Main street next to all the restaurants, shopping, and wine rooms! Great staff, Emily and Isiah were amazing! Really enjoyed the stay!

Yelp
From the moment my husband and I arrived to Blackbird Inn, we were impressed. The beautiful craftsman style, charming decor, and cozy environment made us feel right at home. After the perfect night in, we were met with coffee and a hot breakfast in the morning. I had my own individually-wrapped gluten-free breakfast; I was so impressed by the thought and concern for our health and safety! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the Blackbird Inn to all traveling in the Napa area!

Yelp
Can't say enough about this place. What a cute little spot for our first time in Napa. Emily, the manager was amazing, so kind and so accommodating when it came to storing my breast milk and my dairy allergy. Great location with a quick walk to downtown Napa!

Yelp
The Blackbird Inn provides a warm and welcome Napa experience...walkable downtown and restaurants, and a quiet and relaxing place for a refreshing getaway. The breakfast is balanced, abundant, and tasty. Rooms are clean, well maintained, and comfortable, and the parlor has a large fireplace and comfortable places to sit that accommodate conversation and good company. We had a lovely stay.

Yelp
The Blackbird Inn was so amazing. We were staying there for our wedding. They upgraded our room, welcomed us with a special treat afterward, and took our best photos of the day. Great breakfast, wine and cheese hour, and parking. Everything was perfect!!!!

Yelp
Just returned from our trip to Napa and we absolutely loved our stay at the Blackbird Inn. The staff is so warm and friendly! The location is perfect, easy walking distance to downtown yet in a quiet part of town. Our room had a small, beautiful and relaxing deck in the back. The room itself was very well appointed and beautifully decorated. We loved the breakfasts and the evening cocktail hours. Very reasonable prices for an Inn of this quality. Without a doubt we highly recommend the Blackbird Inn.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I stayed at the Blackbird Inn for one night while visiting Napa...and I wish our stay had been longer! It is such an adorable B&B in a fantastic location. We had the front room on the first floor with a quaint, private porch and a fireplace. There were chocolates waiting for us on our bed as well as a welcome card. We checked in just in time to enjoy some wine and hors d'oeuvres in the common area before taking a short walk to Downtown Napa for dinner. The next morning, we enjoyed a small yet satisfying breakfast before checking out. From beginning to end, the staff was welcoming, friendly and helpful. We will definitely be coming back here for our next wine country getaway!

Yelp
Cutest, most charming B&B in a wonderful craftsman house in such a great walkable location in downtown Napa. Emily, the manager, was absolutely wonderful and there were so many special touches from the lovely morning breakfasts to the freshly baked cookies to the very warm, homey feel of sitting in the living room or outside on the porch. My room was lovely, clean, quiet and comfortable. Staying here was such a special experience!

Yelp
My fiancé and I really enjoyed our stay here. The location cannot be beat, the staff was very nice and helpful, and the breakfast was yummy. We will be back!

Yelp
Super clean and super cute bed and breakfast. Ample and close parking. We felt secure and safe. Breakfast was good and service was excellent. We didn't hear other guests. Be forewarned though, that it is on a very busy street with a lot of suburban noise. Early morning garbage trucks, loud traffic noise from passing motorcycles and cars. Great location as far as easy on and off of freeway and close to downtown Napa.

Yelp
We had a great time at the Blackbird Inn. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the pictures of the room were accurate. The breakfasts were good and we loved the location. We will definitely look to stay here again on our next trip to Napa.

Yelp
Had a wonderful 2-night stay at this cozy bed & breakfast. I was greeted with so much genuine hospitality upon arrival, and during my entire stay, and the breakfasts were delicious, beyond expectations! And I couldn't pass up the homemade cookies! My room was spotless, and so comfortable. I felt very much at home, and hope to stay here again.

Yelp
Absolutely stunning place. Awesome breakfast, awesome daily happy hour, and even better fresh cookies all day long! No complaints. We had a great stay! The staff is so nice and really helped us pick which places to go, or not to, and they even gave us coupons to help us around Napa. We will definitely be back! Private rooms with bathrooms, we had a private patio and a HUGE tub! It is located a short walk away from downtown Napa, everything was just perfect! If you shop around you can find really fair priced deals here!

Yelp
Location: Great location for accessing downtown Napa - everything was within a mile of the inn making it easy to walk to anyplace we needed. Parking lot was a bit small and when everyone was at the inn it was a little difficult to park. On our first night we checked in after hours and ended up having to call to ask where we should park as the only spot available was the handicap space. Apparently its okay to park there though if needed? There was a sign... Service: All the innkeepers we had throughout our stay were great - we had three different people over our stay actually. All greeted us and we came and went and were friendly. The innkeeper we had over the weekend was great about offering us advice on places to go in the region (it was our first time visiting Napa) and tours we should look into. Our rooms were always nice and clean by the time we returned for the day. And of course don't forget the signature Four Sisters breakfast and wine/cheese reception in the afternoon if you can make it back! Rooms: There are 8 rooms total in this bed and breakfast and from what I understand all are laid out slightly differently. If you can secure a room downstairs, those appeared to be the largest and possibly most desirable. I believe both had a small private patio which the rooms upstairs did not. The end rooms upstairs both have whirlpool tubs and fireplaces - the fireplaces can make the rooms very hot very fast though so beware. Individual AC control in each room was awesome. Only complaint about the layout was there were two large chairs at the foot of the bed which made the pathway to the other side of the room little tricky. A couch might have been a little better for space sake. Food: Not often do you feel the need to review the food at a hotel, but four sisters inn's are not exactly a normal hotel. As a bed and breakfast, this location only boosts 8 rooms total and thus they can provide a fantastic breakfast (all recipes from their cookbook I think) everyday. Breakfast is served downstairs in the living room from 8:30-10 am everyday. We had several different items and all were fantastic. I especially loved the variety of baked goods - a different one each day! There was a different egg dish out each day as well. And the typical cereal, fruit, juice and coffee of course. In the afternoon the cookie jar is put out with a fresh baked cookie of the day - during our stay there was a oatmeal chocolate chip, raisin, and snickerdoodle! Love love love! Overall: We had a great stay but we actually agreed that we prefer another four sisters location that we stayed at previously. Nothing against this particular location - again service and food were great. Just a personal preference. If you are staying in Napa though and looking for a low key, calm bed and breakfast, this would be a great option.

Yelp
Many other reviews tell you about the amazing craftsmanship and super kind staff. FIVE STARS! We had the feeling we were in a Hallmark movie (if one was filmed during a pandemic). As an ICU nurse and NP I was so grateful for all the responsible attention to cleanliness and infection prevention. Another FIVE STARS!!! Thank you for a wonderful place to see and stay!

Yelp
This B and B is so cool and beautiful. Nice large rooms, comfortable beds and nice staff. Its on 1st Street and a 10-15 minute walk to a bunch of great bars and restaurants, also Oxbow mall.

Yelp
We stayed in a queen room in the back building. The place is very cute and designed well. Great location near downtown Napa. Easy walking to restaurants. Good breakfast. The staff is very nice and were very helpful in suggesting places to visit. That being said there was a lot of noise from the street in our room. We could hear every car passing, tires, engines the works. Woke us up very early which was not what we expected from a night away from the kids. The pillows were way too firm for my liking but my husband liked them. All in all we didn't get a good nights sleep but other rooms will give a different point of view. If staying here I would recommend insisting on quieter rooms if there are.

Yelp
We stayed one night and had a great time with excellent service. I checked in with Jodi who made me feel like a long-time friend. She knew it was our two year anniversary and had prepared something special for us. Nick took care of everything in the morning. He is very attentive and make sure his guests want for nothing. Two things previous reviewers mentioned that I would like to address: Breakfast is wonderful! I was told they changed things up a while ago so those reviews are no longer valid. Scones (delicious! we could smell them in our room), waffles, quiche, bagels, english muffins, fresh fruit, coffee, juices are among some of the things we had for breakfast (I don't know if they change up the menu, but disregard those past reviews). Secondly, we stayed in room 1 which is next to the front desk, but that's not an issue. The front desk employee leaves early in the evening so privacy is not a concern. And as to outside sounds- no issue whatsoever.

Yelp
Beautiful! Located just outside old downtown Napa and within walking distance. The home is wonderfully restored and well kept. The rooms are all similar in decor with some slightly larger. We enjoyed an upstairs room with a nice balcony to relax on. Some reviews note traffic noise and we knew that going in. It was not like what was written. It's Napa, not LA or SF. I try to do a lil homework on venues before hand and the location is clearly off a 4 lane road. A fine trade off compared to proximity to Napa, the great accommodations and nightly wine tasting/hors d oeuvres/cookies. Breakfast was awesome! Each morning (four days) we were treated to a spread of fresh fruit, assorted breads/bagels/muffins, and a couple of main dishes. We sampled different quiches, oatmeal, french toast casserole, bacon/sausage, and eggs Benedict. And, coffee, milk, tea, or juices! The staff was friendly and made tons of great suggestions for wine tasting, shopping, and dining. They treated us like family guests. We'll be back!

Yelp
What a great place! Extremely well maintained, cozy, and inviting. Staff was very friendly and helpful, included breakfast was great. We will definitely be returning the next time we do an overnighter in the area. To the great staff- thank you for the hospitality, and I apologize for our absentmindedly forgetting to leave a room tip before we checked out. it absolutely in no way reflects on the services provided. We will be tipping doubly next time!
