Blackcomb Helicopters - Whistler

We took the BC Experience flight, and it was breathtaking. The 24 minutes we spent soaring over the stunning mountains around Whistler felt like pure bliss. Our pilot was skilled and incredibly knowledgeable, pointing out key landmarks and sharing interesting facts about the area throughout the journey. It was a truly memorable experience. What an incredible experience! After living in Whistler for so many years, I finally got to see it from the sky to sky corridor from above. After take off we flew over the Whistler Blackcomb ski areas, then over Cheakamus lake and a near by glacier. This was followed by close up look at the prehistoric Black Tusk as well as the famous Garibaldi lake. We then headed east where the helicopter actually landed on Rainbow mountain and the views and scenery was absolutely spectacular. A big thank you to our pilot Pierre. We felt so secure the entire time with him, and he was very personable with a lot of character as well!!

My husband and I had the most amazing experience. It was our first time on a helicopter, and being mountain lovers, we were completely mesmerised by the view. Our pilot, Jamie, was super friendly and very informative, we were really impressed by her flying skills.

A very memorable tour, the breathtaking mountains, glaciers and lakes, the skill in which Ken manoeuvred us past landscapes beyond words. We landed on top of Rainbow mountain where I threw my husband’s ashes into the wind to be forever embraced by the freedom of this great land.

Soar into Whistler area snowcapped mountains and glaciers with Blackcomb Helicopters! Purchased online with ease, multiple confirmation and reminder emails received including the day before, shuttle pickup noted in booking confirmation, shuttle was on schedule! Smooth ride, up close glacier views, mountaintop landing was amazing. Truly the top of the world (in Whistler). Recommend for anyone but make sure you dress to be on a mountain peak (much, much colder than heliport) so you can really enjoy that part. Safe Travels!
