Blackcomb Helicopters - Whistler

Incredible. I've tried out most of the activities in Whistler - this was a stand out. Highly recommend taking the front seat next to the pilot for the most amazing views of your life. From booking to take off to landing, my friend and I felt super fortunate. Between the perfect weather, the kind staff and our fantastic pilot Doug at the helm - it was legitimately a once in a lifetime experience! Honestly was worth every penny paid and I felt safe the entire time. Would highly recommend and would gladly go again if the opportunity arose.

Had an absolutely breathtaking Whistler sightseeing tour with Blackcomb Helicopters. The views were incredible from start to finish, truly unforgettable scenery. The staff were fantastic: friendly, professional, and made the whole experience feel safe and special. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Whistler.

I enjoyed this so much that I did 2 of the tours - the Coast Ranger and the Coast Mountain Explorer with the mountain landing. Both were amazing, but I enjoyed the Coast Ranger a bit more. We flew in between mountain peaks, and above beautiful lakes, glaciers, and a hidden waterfall that they just recently discovered. My photography turned out great.

This helicopter tour was honestly one of the coolest experiences I’ve ever had. From the second we arrived, the staff were so friendly and welcoming — they made us feel relaxed, excited, and totally safe right away. You can really tell they love what they do, and it made the whole experience even better. Flying over the mountains and glaciers was just unreal. The views were absolutely breathtaking — huge snowy peaks, bright blue ice, and landscapes that didn’t even look real. Seeing Whistler from above gave us a whole new perspective you just can’t get from the ground. I caught myself smiling the entire time! The pilot was awesome too, pointing out landmarks and sharing fun facts along the way, which made it feel really personal instead of just a ride. If you’re thinking about doing this — just book it. It’s 100% worth it and something I’ll be talking about for years. Such a special experience!

I was lucky enough to be able to go up in the helicopter on a clear and sunny day in Whistler. The views are absolutely incredible and it doesn't matter where you sit the views are amazing out of every window! The front desk team here are so welcoming and inviting and the pilot was incredible with all the details of what we were looking at! Highly recommend this tour to anyone considering it!

We booked online. It worked out perfectly. We received a friendly welcome. The pilot explained to us during the flight what we were flying over. The view was fantastic and very impressive. The flight was absolutely worth the money. It was fantastic!

Wow, wow 🤩! Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. We had a really brilliant helicopter ride and our pilot Adam was first class, lots of information about the area and a great vibe too….. I’d do it all again in a heartbeat. Thank you.

My husband and I had the most amazing experience. It was our first time on a helicopter, and being mountain lovers, we were completely mesmerised by the view. Our pilot, Jamie, was super friendly and very informative, we were really impressed by her flying skills.

Flying in a helicopter has been on my bucket list since forever. I had to take the opportunity to be in one while in Canada since the scenery was absolutely breathtaking. Andy was such a friendly person and we are truly grateful to have had him as our pilot. He welcomed us when we first arrived and then introduced himself to each of us in the group before takeoff. The safety video you have to watch before going on the helicopter was informational on what to expect and was quick & to the point. The views were breathtaking. I am so glad that we decided to do this tour. Takeoff was smooth as well as landing. We always felt super safe and Andy was informational on everything that we flew over. Truly such a spectacular guide & ride! 10000/10, I would do this all over again!

Amazing views on an amazing flight! It was out first ever flight in a helicopter and it was incredible! Blackcome fit us in without even a booked appointment! They were a fun and inviting batch of people who made the experience fun, safe and a memorable experience. The pilot showed us around the mountains and took photos with us. We would recommend this to anyone wanting to experience going up in a helicopter!

Extremely disappointed with this service. We were scheduled to take a helicopter tour at 10 am. We got an email the night before saying it might be canceled due to the snow and that they would let us know in the morning by 8 am. We never received a call so I had to call them to ask and that's when they informed us that it had been canceled. It'd be hard to believe that these tours aren't canceled 90% of the time with the weather in Whistler. Because they told us morning of, we needed to find other things to do and of course everything was booked already. I wouldn't waste your time booking this when there are a ton of other great tours with a smaller/no chance of getting canceled.

A great company, and takes the safety behind flying very seriously :) We were only up at Whistler for 3 days, and this helicopter ride was supposed to be a b-day present. But because of fog and weather they had to cancel a few booked flights, but they continuosly kept us in the loop of when a possible flight could happen, and when it did actually clear up to fly, they let us know right away. We were blown away, and again because of fog we couldn't do the land onto Rainbow mountian but the pilot did an extra loop along the valley and made the entire trip exceptional. Thank you Blackcomb helicopters!

Simply amazing. I booked their 'BC Experience' Helicopter tour which is a 39 minute flight over Whistler village and surrounding mountains including the Cheakamus Glacier, Black Tusk, and even landing on top of the Rainbow glacier for a short photo session. Right from the get go I was incredibly impressed with the level of service provided by Blackcomb Aviation. My girlfriend and I were at the Scandinave spa just ten minutes down the road when they called and asked if we could do an earlier flight due to worsening weather. While not totally convenient, I am glad they did call as it showed that they were willing to provide us with the best possible experience if we were flexible. Luckily they had called just in time so we were able to get our refund from the spa and then get our butts in the chopper just in time. The helicopter experience itself was once in a life time. Growing up in Vancouver, I've been to Whistler many times and have hiked many of the surrounding trails. Going into it, I wasn't sure if I would be that excited about seeing the same things from the air. I was wrong; the helicopter ride is a blend of excitement and thrill from both the sensation of flying and seeing the amazing sites and views. Our pilot was friendly and relaxed answering any questions we had. I would have no qualms about using their service again or recommending them to anyone else.

Breathtaking tour. We did the BC experience and the views were stunning. I would highly recommend it. The pilot was friendly and knowledgeable. Worth every penny! We got to sit at the front which had the best views, but the helicopter is designed to allow all guests a beautiful scenic viewing perspective.

We booked our heli elopement well in advance and were looking forward to it. Per my previous discussions with the Company, we were expecting to receive a call a day before the elopement related to the weather conditions in case the weather didn't look good.. However, we didn't receive any call. On the day of our elopement, we received a call a couple hours before our flight saying the weather looks good so far but in case anything changes we will call you at 2pm and if we don't call, it's expected that we are good for the fight. This was surprising as on the 1st place since we didn't hear anything from them until a couple hours before the flight instead of the day before.. Later, we didn't receive any call for them but since I wanted to make sure, I called them at 2.05pm to ask if we are good for the flight. They told us they will call us back if weather is bad in next 5mins as the pilot will be updating in next few mins.. We didn't hear anything so we left for our flight scheduled at 2.40pm.. When we reached the parking lot at 2.30pm they called us saying the fight is cancelled.. This was very sudden and disappointing given we made all efforts to make sure we are good and we were literally outside ready to board the flight for our elopement.. They did not offer any alternative options such as dates/ times etc even though they knew the booking was for an elopement. We still had a great & beautiful wedding at a different location and made it all work out at the very last minute. The weather was clear and sunny the whole day and days after and we felt like they cancelled on a 10mins notice without any reason or alternative options in terms of timing. We will go for a heli tour on our anniversary next year but definitely NOT with blackcomb helicopters. We DON'T recommend anyone planning any elopement or engagement with blackcomb helicopters since they can ruin your plans any minute even when you have already arrived to fly.

I enjoyed the tour. We had a great pilot, very knowledgeable, friendly and took good pics of us on the glacier. The scenery was beautiful. However, On our tour I felt that there were only 3 seats on the helicopter that had good viewing potential. I think the company should structure the pricing and have seat selection as part of the purchasing process for the consumer. Instead, they tell the passengers that all seats are great and it's up to you to choose seats among yourselves. People who don't get the window seats, don't get the same experience. I don't think it's a fair policy.

Great experience. I booked a couple weeks ahead of time. I wanted to give my family a treat. They loved it. Chris our pilot was great as well. Friendly and full of information. I would def do it again.

Booked the BC Experience 39-minute tour which toured above Whistler Village, surrounding mountains, and then landed on the Rainbow Mountain glacier. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! It was a beautifully sunny day, but I would imagine it would be spectacular no matter what the weather. Our guide was very knowledgable of the area, friendly, and eager to help with taking our photo once landing. He answered all the questions we had. We didn't feel rushed and had full confidence in our pilot's abilities. Highly recommended and worth every penny!

This was an amazing helicopter tour! So much fun. Some of my best memories and pictures came from this tour. Very pricey but worth it for the views.
