Blackfish Cafe

Halibut special was the best, perfectly cooked fresh halibut, lots of crab meat. Very good flavor. Scallops were also good, big size scallops in tasty sauce. We really liked the bread, they did a good job, reminds us the bread we had in Vegas at Paris Hotel. Long wait, better go there early. We had to wait for more than an hour on a Sunday night.

This place is a hidden gem! We have tried nearly all the restaurants in Lincoln City and this place blows them all away! I had the special cheese risotto and green beans with hazelnut crusted halibut and Dungeness crab and it was absolutely amazing! My partner had deep fried oysters and they were SO fresh! Nowhere else in town can even compare to the quality of the food and value for the price. Not even joking, my microwaved leftovers the next morning were STILL juicer and cooked more nicely than dishes we've had at Kyllo's fresh.

PHENOMENAL. We travel from Seattle once a year for our anniversary to eat here! This will be our 3rd year in a row! It never disappoints. The staff is amazing, the food is exceptional and everytime we eat here, they make you feel like long lost friends you haven’t seen in years! The chef is a genius and the whole kitchen crew just knocks it out of the park! Truly an honor to enjoy the food. Everything on the menu is exceptional so don’t be scared off by anything like I was the first time! I went WAY out of my comfort zone and I couldn’t have been happier about it! Update from year 3. Again, phenomenal. I cannot thank you all enough for making this experience so magical! We can’t wait to see you all next year! ❤️

Dinner was absolutely delicious! Most of the menu was gluten free and some things could be made gluten free. Of course, the clam chowder isn't one of those things. The caramel pot de creme is the only GF dessert option but it was so yummy! Service was also really great and very accommodating for our dietary restrictions.

Wonderful meal on vacation at the Blackfish Cafe! I look forward to their salmon when I’m able to visit. Tonight I tried the fresh Oyster smalls, Wow!!! The topping was delightful! New favorite creamy custard caramel desert. Our waitress was so patient and kind, anticipating our every need. Thank you for making me feel special!

The main courses were cooked lovely. The staff was friendly. Parking was a bit tight - way too many large trucks in small spaces. The venue was clean (including windows, floorboards, light shades, surfaces etc...). I would recommend showing up a little before 5pm.

My wife and I went there for our 19 yr Anniversary. Funny thing is we don't even eat fish!! I'm allergic to Shellfish and most fish except a few. I got the Fish-N-Chips and my wife got the Gnocci. The presentation was out of this world and the quality was amazing and well worth it! The prices were reasonable and it is a great small, local and quaint restaurant. I would go there again for sure.

This is our second time eating here when we visit Lincoln City. I was able to call a few days ahead of time and get a reservation. They are closed monday/Tuesday but I was able to leave a voicemail that they returned and confirmed my reservation right away. We were able to get the calamari gluten-free so my partner could eat them with her dietary restrictions, which was great! The chowder was thick and full of flavor. For main dishes, we had duck (GF,Dairy Free), and I had the skillet Roasted Chinook salmon. The salmon was cooked perfectly, and the blue cheese potatoes were paired perfectly with the salmon. We ordered some of the ding dong cakes to take home with us. The peanut butter pie was sold out, as that would have been my first choice. We usually try to make this stop anytime we come down to Lincoln City. Sade was our server, and she was great and knowledgeable about the menu and substitutes they could do to accommodate us for GF/dairy free options.
