Backstory: my overseas friend came alone the day before and got the cheeseburger (which was amazing in her words) and was unable to pay as she did not have cash and was unable to pay through the QR code as she did not have paylah or paynow. The boss was incredibly kind and did not take any payment from her then. But of course she wanted to come back to pay for her meal and so we came back today to pay for the meal and to get another meal. Thank you so much for your kindness! We got the potato salad and the angus striploin and thoroughly enjoyed it. The potato salad was very different from others I’ve had - I think it’s worth coming just for the salad alone honestly. The quality of the beef was similar to something you can get at a good restaurant and for a fraction of the price. Prices here are definitely steeper than the average hawker meal but the quality and effort is definitely worth it. Would recommend coming earlier (my friend and I came at abt 4.45pm to queue) so that u get first dibs on what is served. I sat near the shop and enjoyed seeing how well the team worked together to prepare the food and I appreciate the thought and dedication put into each dish. Would love to come back again to try the turbot (hope that it will return on the menu!!) :)

I wish instructions about the queue system had been clearer. If you arrived before they open, you need to get a table, write your name on the clipboard. Go to the head of the queue WHEN they open. We were 4th in the clipboard list but didn't realise you need to go to the front and end up queuing. As a result, we missed the prawns as it sold out. MR burger was good. Do attack ASAP as the juices will start to dry. Steaks are good, do note that thier minimum is 500 gram at 16 per 100gram. 5*16=80. Aston steaks ard ard 150-180. 1.5*16=24-28.8 So it's slightly more pricey than Aston. Egg mayo is pretty subjective. Dessert was meeeehhhh

Very unique flavours. Food was heavily seasoned. Staff were friendly and served food to your table. Chicken burger had a unique Mediterranean sauce, the chicken was well fried and not jelat. Ajumma was DELICIOUS, hojicha flavour was prominent and the multiple textures in the dessert made the dish very enjoyable. Come early! Recommended dishes: chicken burger, ajumma

Agree with reviews highlighting the folks at the Halal stall being hardworking; they were cooking non-stop the whole time we were seated in front of the stall. Food was enjoyable, especially the lamb and sweet corn. Wish it was more affordable so that we can dine more often ☺️ For 4 adults, we averaged $45 per person, and portions were just nice. Orders were served the moment they were ready, with the final order (steak) arriving 30 minutes after we ordered. Would consider again only if in the area & feeling loaded 😬

Everything in e menu was at least a 8/10 .. paid only 160 fr all of this. Included prawn n 500gram steak. Cheeseburger so good, i tabao one home for supper! Would hv cost at least 450 at mbs steak house with gst. No frills plc at hawker. Very hardworking young ppl working hard to serve quality food. Only thg the ajumama desserts abit too sweet fr my taste.. however, kudos to their professionalism To serve restaurant food in hawker setting… Three thumbs up!! I will visit again!

Above average restaurant at a hawker centre setting. 4.5 star. Everything good with some minor stuff. Steak was disappointing. Went to try after hearing a lot. Got the potato salad,Kai lan, squid, chicken burger and a tendervalley steak + the “kappucino”. Potato salad was really refreshing but personally not a fan of green onions so would have liked to know that it had a heaping amount of it. Kailan probably one of the best kailan I have had. Squid is amazing but the filing inside it was unnecessary imo. Chicken burger super good. Probably one of the best in SG. Pity they didn’t have cheese burger today. Was really raring to try it. Steak was honestly underwhelming. It wasn’t bad but for what should have been the star of the show it was the weakest of all we had today. Would honestly not recommend getting it compared to their other dishes. Felt like it was lacking some oomph had to ask for extra salt but it was still average Kappucino was really good and a satisfying end to the meal. Just wish the steak was better as it was the most expensive part of the meal and why we came down.

Tried their food a few years ago when they were still a budding stall, and the story remains the same - Passion oozes from the team much like the juices from their food. I think it can be challenging to manage the expectation of each and every customer especially when you’ve grown so large and so popular (deservedly), yet I think they’re doing an amazing job in spite of these challenges. For every unwarranted complaint, hope Blackgoat know there’s many of us who really enjoy what they do. All the best!

Be prepared to queue. But also be prepared for great food. Highly recommend the corn, Caesar salad, prawns, cheeseburger and steak. Had a cheesecake tart that was quite excellent. Their Instagram is regularly updated with produce for the day.
