Blackheath Lodge

Blackheath Lodge was our home for our three nights in Cape Town. The building has style as do the staff. It’s nicely decorated. The bedroom was very comfortable, the bathroom had a good walk-in shower, the breakfasts were super (buffet plus hot cooked to order). There’s a small splash pool with loungers and a comfortable bar with tv. We received great advice from Karin who suggested we sign-up for Uber which made our sightseeing really easy. It was 10 to 15 mins to the V&A Waterfront. We had a load of laundry nicely done and our bags were stored on the last day. The staff were great - fun chats with Riano at reception and nice breakfast service from Brighton. Thank you all. We had power during load shedding and didn’t have to shower in the dark (as at prior hotel). Happy to recommend this place I for a boutique stay.

It was my first trip with my family to Africa, and I would like to cherish the memories of it for a long time. Despite having a lot of travel experience, this particular place managed to surprise me and show me what excellent service truly looks like.||As soon as my family and I arrived at the lodge, we immediately noticed the unique features that set this area apart - the people and their culture that surrounded us. The friendly and accommodating staff made us smile and helped us relax. It's clear that hospitality is a top priority for those who work here.||Furthermore, I love staying in places that feel like a home away from home. They should be cozy and peaceful. If you looking for a place with good insulation and peaceful atmosphere, it's an excellent choice.||By the way, you can easily reach all the shops, restaurants, and nearby beaches on foot.

In love with that place . Victorian building Nicky moderated but still managed to keep all its charm. Really quiet and chic place. Sweet, polite and extremely helpful staff! All of them extremely client focused! Everyone is trying to make your stay as good as possible! |Location is also amazing it’s walking distance to all the best restaurants! Also really quiet and safe area!|Great breakfast! And OMG sandwiches that we got before our departure to the airport… something to die for 🤣🤣🤣|Thank you guys over and over again!|Can’t wait to visit you soon again!

We had a really pleasant stay, well looked after by the whole team starting from a pickup from the airport, daily breakfast orders to organising trips and getting tips around the city. The team is friendly and caring. The lodge is situated at the Three Ancor Bay and is very close to the ocean front and daily facilities like cafes, groceries, restaurants. Our room had a beautiful view towards the ocean and complementary tea/coffee. We'd love to come back.

We arrived mid morning, not expecting our room to be ready until mid afternoon. However, the room was prepared straight away and we were made to feel very welcome. Blackheath Lodge is a fantastic place to stay. Very quiet but near great cafes and restaurants. The breakfast was very good with lots of fresh fruit and oat milk was available so no problem if you are vegan or vegetarian.

A comfortable, friendly, welcoming boutique hotel, nestled in the heart of Seapoint, Capetown. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful hotel. The staff could not have been more helpful from check in through to departure. The hotel is within walking distance of the V&A waterfront, yet far enough away to avoid the hustle and bustle. ||||Our room was huge, with a sitting room, kitchenette and balcony. We had a view of the sea in the distance. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, with light snacks available in the bar area throughout the day.||||The pool is so pretty - surrounded by flowering shrubs - with staff on hand to get coffees, drinks etc., if you can't be bothered to get up to go to the bar !!||||Seapoint is handy for Camps Bay (10 mins by taxi) with its lovely restaurants.||||I cannot recommend this charming hotel highly enough and we certainly hope to return to visit again in the future

We had one extraordinarily stayed at Blackheath Lodge.|First … we walked in with such an amazing warm welcome from Riano & Godfrey. They made or stayed extremely pleasant, making last minute reservations and accommodations. |Second day we met Karin and the chef and made our experience even more enjoyable!|Breakfast was perfect and the friendly staff really made us not want to leave. We even try to stay longer but they were sold out!|Highly recommended if you are looking for lodge experience!|Riano - Kudos to you for such incredible skills of customer service and for going beyond and above to accommodate us and our needs … I know Gary isn’t easy lol ||Looking forward to see you guys soon|Renato & Gary
