This is a new Sri Lankan/Indian restaurant located in Sai Ying Pun. It's close to a fusion of the two cuisines. The restaurant is slightly hidden in a small alley at the top of the hill. It was difficult to call in a reservation, so I went directly to the restaurant to make my reservation. Overall, the quality is really high. The dishes are delicious, and you can tell they use good ingredients. Their featured dish is the roast chicken curry, which was good, but not what I can call spectacular. The naan was really soft and moist, and it was a perfect combination when dipped in the curry. What really impressed me was the Maldivian Banana Fritters from their dessert menu. You can get this wonderful treat for just 58HKD! The handmade dough it deep fried and topped with a handmade sauce. The whole preparation is done right in front of you! I still can't believe that this dessert was only 58HKD.
I really enjoyed everything I had so I hope to try some of their other dishes next time...since I know I'll be back!

The food wasn't bad at all but it just takes a lot of time before it arrives. I waited 45 min atleast and I don't think that the food is that good to wait for. Don't go there if you are hungry. Maybe go there if you think you are going to get hungry. Tables were not clean also, the sides of the tables contained some oil spill and it got on my white t-shirt.

Food is interesting- fusion of western style and Indian/Sri Lanka style! Ice cream is a bit sticky than the majority style in HK. They offer good wines as well, from cocktails to tap beers . Staff is quite friendly and you can spend a relax time for causal dining here.

The first time we went, we arrived before 7 to an empty place. Unfortunately, they said they were fully booked and couldn't seat us even if we said we'd only quickly eat then leave. Ended up eating at a great place across the road, finished dinner and blacksalt never sat anyone when we left around 815 from the other place. 😂
We came back, armed with a reservation this time. We received a complimentary app of papadum with lentils which were great. Ended up ordering paneer (awesome), roti with pulled chicken (meh and too spicy) and BBQ Lamb (ok, too rich). Food was Indian fusion. Wait was long but not too long for the food. The waiter said roti was not spicy at all when in fact it was soo spicy. Barely touched it.

Cool hang out spot with an interesting menu.
Happy hour options have good deals on drinks.
Beer list has several local Hong Kong brews, plus many other imports so you can easily find something to your taste.
Food menu was good, lots of fusion type dishes where you get varying flavors like curry and chorizo. All in all, definitely enjoyed the place, service was great, beers and food we’re good.

Delicious modern fusion Indian Sri Lankan dishes. Great service and atmosphere. No wonder this place is always full.

Chilli cheese fondue, okra fries and the free appetisers are really good!
Didn’t like the wok-fried kothu roti as even though we added pulled chicken but felt like we barely had any chicken
Banana fritters is okay
Service was okay throughout the dinner, except three of us were there and the waiter suggested us to at least order 4-5 small plates and a long plate which we could barely finish 2 small plates a side and a dessert
Also at the end, the restaurant wasn’t full but we were told to leave because “other customers have arrived and were waiting for tables” but we didn’t see anyone waiting outside the restaurant

Yelp
Fantastic very creative menu. We had the lamb and the beef skewers, with homemade naan, yum. The interesting twist on guacamole is a must try. A great selection of craft beer completed the experience. I will definitely come back the next time in Hong Kong
