First visit for a birthday celebration. It was amazing! Dajon and Stephanie were super friendly and very helpful. Dajon made amazing drinks and Stephanie paced our meal perfectly. The food was exceptional and exceeded our expectations. We will definitely become regulars.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I attended Black Sheep’s monthly Entrepreneur Takeover night and was blown away! The space is upscale yet welcoming—fun, vibrant, and full of great energy. Josh, Bri, and the entire Black Sheep team worked seamlessly with guest chef Tyler and the florist from Pomp and Bloom to create a truly special evening. We ordered both from the guest chef’s curated menu and the phenomenal Black Sheep regular menu—every bite was outstanding, and the cocktails were perfectly paired. You can tell everyone involved genuinely loves what they do. Whether it’s a casual drink, date night, or group outing—Black Sheep delivers joy, quality, and unforgettable hospitality. One of our fave places for date nights. We love to sit at the bar, but honestly everyone who works here is amazing. The espresso martini is perfect, and we love that they host guest chef nights to mix things up. Ian and the team at the bar are top notch! ♥️

My Boyfriend and I ate here last night and the food was absolutely amazing. We split everything besides the drinks we each got our own. Our waiter Joe was very knowledgeable and helpful while making decisions and very enthusiastic well explaining dishes. 10 out 10 would and will come back

So glad and appreciative to have such a fun new place in Columbus! You walk in and feel instantly transported to an upscale eatery in Manhattan. The vibes are fun and classy but not pretentious, and the food and cocktails are always excellent. I’ve been at least four times, and have always had such a great experience. We love to sit at the beautifully designed bar and enjoy watching the bartenders make the most amazing cocktails. Deidra is our favorite and we always enjoy chatting with her as she mixes up the best margaritas! On our most recent trip, she suggested I try an espresso martini made with reposado tequila and it is now my new favorite! And the PIZZA. I like them all, but the Lazio with ricotta and chili oil is *so good.* Black Sheep has easily become our new favorite spot and we’re so glad it’s here. I highly recommend checking it out!

My friend and I went here last night for the first time. The restaurant was collaborating with one of the most creative floral designers in the US called Pomp & Bloom. Together, with an amazing Chef, they developed an all Flower menu! 🌼 we couldn't decide what to order so we got it all! , yes the entire menu for this event. We were able to talk to the Chef who created the recipes as he visited a couple of tables. Our server, Bree, was a delight! She had an aura around her like she was in her element, maybe a hippy flower child in a previous life? She has good energy and zest for delivering a fun girl's night. Make sure you ask for Bree if you visit Black Sheep. We will be back!!

I got the short end of the stick here for sure. The lamb was good, as well as everyone else’s pizza. I took our server’s recommendation and ordered the potato pizza and it was beyond overcooked -I should’ve taken pics of all of the burnt parts that I picked off of the bottom. The atmosphere was great, service was okay, nothing special. No one checked on our food, just our drinks.

Great service and awesome food. Ordered meatballs appetizers and pizza for lunch. Have no complaints. Beverage was served in an retro glass...kinda of cool.

Wow! Was in town last week to visit my parents and I had to check out the newish spot at the commons mall. First off, the ambience and feel of the restaurant was on point. We were greeted by Jenna. She had such an inviting smile, and ended up being our server. She was knowledgeable about the wines and what we should pair with our meal. I personally had to stick to the dragonfly IPA of course. I wish we had Upland in Phoenix. We ended up getting the Lolli-chops(4 lamb chops over a bed of whipped feta and pesto, served with focaccia). The pecora nera pizza( thick pancetta, pepperoni, sautéed onions and fresh mozzarella). Finally we decided on the porkchop. The Lolli-chops were seasoned and cooked to perfection. I couldn't stop dipping the focaccia and my pizza into the pesto and whipped feta. Soo damn good. Then the pizza, it was a light airy thin crust that I couldn't put down. I let my wife have A piece and I demolished the rest. I wish I would have saved more room for the porkchop as i only took a bite or two but that smokey flavor was amazin and damn near fell off the bone. I asked for the manager because I had to compliment the food, the service(I suggest asking for Jenna) and the overall feel of the restaurant. His name was Mike and I thought he was one of the chefs as i saw him on the line because he greeted us as we walked in. Extremely nice guy and he appreciated the feedback. If you are ever in downtown Columbus, this is a must try! Thanks again and will be back when I visit again. Or you could always come out to Phoenix as well!

My girlfriend and I came here for a lunch on a day trip to Columbus. Upon arrival, we were seated quickly and promptly attended to for drinks and appetizers. We ordered the garlic bread and it was brought out pretty quickly. The bread was not what I had expected, instead it was more of a cheesy bread (but no complaints from me--I love my cheese!). Along with that, we were given three sauces to choose from: whipped fetta, pesto, and marinara. Our server, Joseph, recommended the whipped fetta and pesto and I whole-heartedly agree with that recommendation! The pesto was the best I've had (albeit in my limited experience) and the whipped fetta was just heavenly, especially on the crust of the bread! For the main course we went with the pecora nera pizza topped with pepperoni, slow cooked onions, mozzarella, and pancetta, served Neapolitan style! It was a very delicious pizza that was neither greasy nor burnt. It had the right level of crunchiness without crumbling, while also being juicy with toppings, but not being overly soggy. To top off the meal, our two dessert options were either tiramisu or a lemon style crème cake. We opted for the lemon crème cake since tiramisu is abundant in Italian restaurants and we wanted to branch out a bit. We made the right choice, as the cake was just the perfect amount of lemon to not be overly sweet or sour, but just perfect to satisfy my sweet tooth! Served chilled, the cake just melted right into your mouth giving way to a fantastic lemon cake flavor! Although the cake was meant to have a strawberry topping (they had ran out), I felt it was perfect just the way it was! Overall, Black Sheep has fantastic food nestled in downtown Columbus just steps away from Mill Race Park that offered a casual but elegant dining experience. We will definitely be coming back next time we're in town!

The pizzas and salads at this place were pretty good! I'm not a fru-fru pizza person- I want an old fashioned NYC slice that I can fold and chomp into. However, Black sheep was chosen by the family and it was a pleasant surprise. They had several pizza lunch specials and I got the veggie pizza with arugula salad. I asked what the veggies on the pizza were and was told zucchini. That was fine with me and it was still fine when the zucchini turned out to be eggplant! Another diner had the pepperoni pizza with arugula salad. In Both dishes, the arugula was on top of the pizza. (Fru-fru, right?) One diner had a Caesar salad, o e had a Greek salad and I don't recall the third, but, everyone enjoyed everything. We loved the large black metal sheep welcoming us at the door and we enjoyed the silhouettes of black sheep on the wall. Pretty place. Modern and clean. It was a good lunch!

My partner and I came by on a Sunday afternoon, to find this was one of the only restaurants open on a Sunday in the area. The ambiance is lovely inside, making a luxury feel with still a very casual and relaxed atmosphere. Our server was super nice and conversational, but I don't recall his name. He came by frequently to check on us and often shared about how the food was made and talked about how nice Columbus is. We agree! Foooood. Woooooooh! Starter - garlic bread. Comes with marinara, pesto, and whipped feta. The trifecta. Enough said. Main - pecora nera pizza. Pepperoni and pancetta topping. Yummmmmmmmmmmy. Dessert - lemon cream cake. As recommended by our server, we only missed the strawberry topping. However, I think it was great without it. Nicely lemony! I wish I was closer by to Columbus, but it's likely I'll be back again when I'm in the area!

The best neopolitan style pizza in indiana. Upscale atmosphere. Great staff in house bar in patio. We got a cheese pizza and tried some of the black sheep beer. Well worth the forty minute drive from home. Try. The ice cream parlor across the street.It's over a hundred and twenty five years old.

Black Sheep was a great lunch experience. My family and I loved the decor - so many cool black sheep to look at, from the life size ones at the entrance to the lit up wall displays to the wallpaper in the bathrooms. We also happened to have great pizza and salads. My sister and dad got the Greek salad, which they both said was fabulous and looked great, with lots of fresh veggies. My mom and I got the lunch special, which was a pizza with arugula on top (and a drink too). She got the roasted veggie, which she liked a lot. I got the pepperoni, which was excellent. We both liked the incredibly flavorful cheese and fresh tomato sauce. I wish the crust had just a bit more salt, but it was pillowy and chewy and lovely overall. Our server was friendly and efficient, as well.

This restaurant has a good reputation but it ended up being even better than we were expecting. The general ambience of the restaurant is really nice. A lot of small details that restaurants don't think you will notice are actually taken care of here with care. They have very comfortable chairs, the layout and design of the restaurant is well thought out, and the service was great. The food was also especially good. The Rita is made just right in the Neapolitan tradition. The dough comes out soft, not crispy and overdone, and the crushed tomato sauce was flavorful. The steak piadina was full of flavor and the sauce really brought the steak, onions, red bell peppers, and fresh mozzarella together. The only thing I'd recommend is to mix in shredded Parmesan into the arugula salad before serving instead of just sprinkling on top. It would the perfect amount of flavor.

This is by far the best pizza in Indiana hands down! The waitress was the one who suggested what the best pizza was in there and it did not disappoint.

Awesome crust on the pizza and their little fold over sandwiches. Very very tasty and the service was very attentive!

We had a wonderful dinner at their bourbon tasting night. The meal was as good as any dinner I have had at premium restaurants in Indy and honestly around the world! I hope that Black Sheep will continue to expand their menu to include options such as the ones they served. They definitely have a talent chef!

This has become our favorite restaurant for a date night in Columbus. Everything we have tried has been fabulous. Definitely recommend getting the garlic bread and meatballs as an appetizer. Be sure to dip the bread into the whipped feta....you won't be disappointed. The drinks were also fabulous as well. If you like citrus, try the cosmopolitan.

This is a really nice spot with a good location. I look forward to returning so I can try some other items from the menu. I love what they have done with the renovation as well.

Live this place! Upscale, but not pretentious, pizza. Great lunch spot for business lunch or with friends. Great venue, great service, great tasting Za!

Food was good! The smoked burrata was good, but needs more bread. Their Pécora Nera Pizza is really good! Drinks on the higher end and small.

Wonderful fire roasted pizzas and italian items. The crusts / bread items are all baked perfectly. The sauces and dressings all balanced for savory and sweet. Atmosphere is modern and warm. Looking forward to dining here regularly in the future. (Meatballs are amazing, definitely get them). Great service from the staff.

Service was good. A group of us ordered meatball piadinas and none of us were impressed with the sandwiches. We all thought they were flavorless and over cooked. We may return later but doubtful.

Love the vibe, location, and ambiance of this place. Food was delicious. But service was terrible. I'm really not that person. I'm easy to please. We sat at the bar, which is fairly small, so it's not like he didn't see us. Got us drinks fairly quickly. Mine was meh. Friend's was great. Asked for water twice; he said sure thing both times but never got it. Dude was literally four feet away. He was fairly busy making drinks for the tables, but still. We had to ask someone else. He never asked how our food was and never asked if we wanted another drink. Maybe he was having a bad day, but clearly not the vibe we expected when we sat down.

Food is consistently delicious. Thanks for offering additional bread with the Burrata appetizer. Chopped Salad is fabulous. Service is excellent- so friendly and smart with recommendations when asked. Appreciate the attention to special requests made when booking a reservation. Love the energy. A most favorite place.

Best pizza since I was in Naples Italy. Salad was fresh interesting and delicious. And the bartender Ian was not only handsome and charming, but also mixed the best cocktails. And made us feel so very welcome. My new favorite restaurant in Columbus. You have to try it.

Food was great, fabulous crust on the pizza. Our service was excellent with a very attentive waitress, however the atmosphere was very loud and didn't need the music in the background to make it noisier. We will definitely be back because the food was great!

Great vibe in this restaurant, and it came recommended to me. I was very excited to try a pizza with pistachios on it, as it was a new combination I hadn't thought of. Unfortunately, all the flavors / toppings were concentrated at the very center of the pizza, but then the whole outer ring was really quite bland. My Old Fashioned was very strong, so that was a bonus. Service was honestly atrocious. We were encouraged to sit at the bar, as it is "full service". However the three bartenders/servers behind the bar just reallllly did not want to sell us things. lol. Multiple times we flagged them down for the same thing, they'd nod and say they'll go get it / refill it, and just.... didn't? It was one of the only times in my life I have only tipped 10%.

The Ambiance is perfect! Love brightness and looking out the windows! Service is great! The oven is amazing. Prices are reasonable. We really appreciate the hours they are open. Starting at 11:00. We are so excited to have a place like this in Columbus. Congratulation's to the creators!
