We stayed in room #9 in the Harbor House. Clean, cozy, and quiet, and what more could you ask for? It was our first time here and we were extremely pleased with the facility overall. Sam was great too. If peace and quiet is your goal, we highly recommend.

We stayed for a relaxing weekend in late September. Our room #15 was comfortably decorated with colonial furniture; the bathroom was large and spacious with a great shower. We particularly enjoyed our breakfast being delivered to our room each morning so we could enjoy it on the balcony, which had a partial lake view (other rooms may have better views). There were always treats available in the lobby (cookies, popcorn, beverages). The beachfront is lovely for sitting on their Adirondack chairs and there are kayaks available. The location was excellent for exploring this side of the peninsula. It was within walking distance of some fine dining restaurants, as well as the Cornerstone Pub, which we enjoyed. Plus the inn was situated between the Ridges Sanctuary and the Shoreline Boat Tours, so just a couple minutes walk to both, which we enjoyed as well. The only reason I give it only four stars is that my husband did not like the very high four-poster bed, although step stools are available. I still highly recommend the inn, although I would like to experience one of the other rooms. Book early!

This is my second time here. I first went about 10 years ago and it's just as serene as I remember. The rooms have that old time feel, but not in the creepy ghostly way. The location is easily accessible and walking distance to Door County Brewing and other restaurants. It's in a more quiet part of the area so it helps to stay here if you want that time to enjoy the lake and have some peace at the end of the day. The staff are very helpful and the pastries for breakfast are *chef's kiss* 10/10.

We spent a few nights at the Blacksmith Inn On the Shore in Baileys Harbor while on our honeymoon and loved it. The room was very spacious and clean. We loved the private view of the lake, the fireplace and the decor of the room. The bed and pillows were quite comfortable, and the whirlpool was a plus. Complimentary beverages, cookies and popcorn in the lobby were appreciated. The complimentary breakfast was surprisingly delicious. Staff was very courteous and helpful. We are looking forward to returning next year for our anniversary, possibly sooner!

Stayed in room 6. This place is awesome. Awesome view. They have bikes, kayaks, stand up paddle boards. Free breakfast. Free snacks all the time. The view from top balcony room 6 or 7 is priceless. This is a hidden gem and should be a place to stay if your two adults. Plus this location is close to some really enjoyable hikes and restaurants/winery.

Stayed in room 12. Beautiful view of the lake from the balcony. Check-in was quick and easy. The decor in the building and our room was a callback to times gone past with modern amenities. The room was clean and the fireplace and jet tub worked with no issues. Plenty of hot water and good pressure in the shower. Coffee pods for the in room Keurig, cold drinks, popcorn and delicious cookies were available in the lobby of our building. You fill out a card each day indicating what you want for breakfast and the time you want it. Breakfast was delivered on time each morning and was good, nothing fancy but filling enough for a good start to the day. Highly recommend! We have stayed here a couple more times since this initial review. Each time our stay has been wonderful. Staff is friendly, our room is clean and charming. Our breakfast is delivered on time each morning. Can't say enough good things about this place. We will continue to make this our go to accommodations when we visit Door County. 10/27/2024.. Another stay for our annual Fall trip and as usual the Blacksmith Inn didn't disappoint. We stayed in Room 6 and so far in my opinion it has the best view. Breakfast was delivered on time each morning and was delicious. Tried the organic homemade granola with yogurt and it was very good. The staff was friendly and accommodating as usual. Can't say enough good about this place.

We spent one night at the Blacksmith Inn On the Shore, and had a wonderful experience. We were greeted so warmly by the staff in the office and offered complimentary beverages and snacks. Our room was very clean and cozy, and decorated beautifully. Since we visited in the winter, we enjoyed the gas fireplace tremendously. Choosing and receiving the breakfast offered, was very straight forward and lovely. We can tell a lot of care and thought goes into the experience that they are providing to guests. Being in Baileys Harbor, we had views of beautiful Lake Michigan and easy access to restaurants and parks. We would 100% come back here again and recommend to others.

We enjoyed a two-night stay at The Blacksmith Inn in Bailey's Harbor. The inn was clean, quaint, and welcoming, immediately making us feel at home.||||We loved the balcony, which offered a great view, and the fireplace, which added a cozy and romantic touch. Despite the inn being nearly full, it was remarkably quiet, allowing us to relax and unwind without any disturbances.||||Breakfast was conveniently delivered to our door each morning and was delicious. We particularly enjoyed the complimentary oatmeal cherry cookies, which were a great afternoon snack.

Yelp
Very quaint inn. We stayed in room #1. Loved that it was the only room down the hall and our entrance was private The furnishings were in keeping with the era of the building . We had a queen size bed. There was also a small fireplace (gas) and a whirlpool tub. Cute patio , that faces the bay. The view is slightly obscured by trees and marsh grasses. The usual amenities. Mini fridge, one cup coffee pot and hair dryer. Unfortunately, we found the bed to be extremely uncomfortable. It was like laying on the floor. The pillows were down, but the kind that flattened and stay flat. The water in the shower is just gross. It left you feeling slimy. Never clean. My hair was a giant knot, no matter how much conditioner I used. Unfortunate. There is no microwave in the room. However , there is one by the coffee bar in the lobby. They also had a mini fridge with juices and flavored water. They did not offer water or ice anywhere. This was a huge inconvenience. We drink a lot of water and ice would have been nice. We did end up buying a case of water. As cute as the Blacksmith inn is, I would not go back. If you're not getting a good nights sleep it really affects your vacation. And not feeling clean after showering ick

Yelp
We always love our stay at the Blacksmith Inn. It's like coming home! We enjoy the views, room, peacefulness of the Inn. The breakfasts are yummy and delivered hot and at the time we requested. If we expect to be a bit hungrier we order a bit extra. Never do we leave hungry! We enjoyed the coffee/brewery down the block called Sway. Always return home distressed!

Yelp
Stayed at the Blacksmith in for two nights for mine and my husbands wedding anniversary. Staff was very nice and accommodating. We really enjoyed the rustic and quaint feel of the hotel and our room. We will definitely be coming back sometime and recommend this beautiful Inn to friends and family!

Stacey S.

Yelp
We stayed two nights for our wedding anniversary in late November and were completely delighted by the blacksmith inn! We enjoyed the in-room whirlpool tub, fireplace, and gorgeous view of the shore, but it was the attention to small details that really wowed us: from the European-style continental breakfast to the cute nightlight in the bathroom, from the lovely selection of snacks and drinks in the communal area, to the welcoming check-in and easy check-out, from the snuggly blankets to the fluffy robes... this place caters to comfort, relaxation, and quiet. We can't wait to come back when it's warmer so we can enjoy the balcony. Don't hesitate to stay here (even if you're a boutique hotel snob); you will not be disappointed!

Yelp
Oh Door County, you wondrous vacation spot from my childhood! Not visiting in years, I recently had a chance to go back to Door County with my husband, sister, and parents- AND it was like I remembered it with the added bonuses of now being an adult who can do more shopping (allowance becomes salary) and drinking (cider becomes cider). These are good things. Yes, it is a nice spot for young families, but you can also have a quality time with a group of adults. If you have never been or never heard of Door County (or DCW for us in the know), it is about five hours from Chicago (four if you speed, but you won't want to). Five hours is a completely manageable drive, when the weather is nice; when it isn't, you basically pray on a loop that you won't hit a deer. The anxiety just makes the drive more fun! In pleasant weather, you pass distracting places with huge signs that simply say "C-H-E-E-S-E" and "F-I-R-E-W-O-R-K-S" on them. Driving from Chicago, you basically follow the coast line of Lake Michigan until you can't drive anymore; DCW is the thumb on the hand of Wisconsin. For my Michigan natives, use your other hand to understand Wisconsin's hand geography. Where we have stayed at friend's cabins and some other hotels, we stayed at Blacksmith Inn on the Shore this time. Blacksmith Inn is beautiful and has many room options (including ones in the Harbor House next door). For this stay, we rented out the Orchard House across the street. The four-bedroom fully-functional house felt more like an airbnb rental than connected to the Inn, which was absolutely perfect. So much well-preserved vintage, comfortable beds, and an excess of bathrooms made this a great place for our group. There are many other stay options in Door County; with all of the inns, B+Bs, lodges, and actual airbnb rentals, you basically need to breakdown what are going to be the most important amenities for your stay and book accordingly, but this place was perfect for us.

Yelp
I just returned from a seven night stay at Blacksmith Inn on the Shore. My husband and I were absolutely delighted with our stay, and we will be returning for another week next year. The decor of the inn manages to be rustic and luxurious at the same time. Every detail was thoughtful and perfect: the whirlpool with bath salts, the luxury pillows, firm mattress, the goat milk bath products, great water pressure in the shower, the vast array of unlimited non alcoholic beverages, the fireplace, the scrumptious breakfast brought to our room at the time of our choosing (the rhubarb walnut muffins were to die for) the DVD and board game library, the immaculate gardens, the free kayak rental, the nature preserve right next door, the super friendly service, I could go on and on. Do not hesitate to book, Blacksmith Inn is a dream come true.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I just spent a wonderful extended weekend at Blacksmith Inn On The Shore and it was lovely. During a time with COVID, their staff all wore masks, encouraged social distancing, offer hand sanitizer in both buildings, clearly shared all new protocols, and shifted breakfast to a preorder delivery to your door. The room was spotless and nicely appointed with in room options and again you had the option to ask for more during COVID. The location was beautiful and the view from our room was amazing. Plus the flower garden walk to the Harbor House, the hammocks and whirlpool tub afforded wonderful relaxing moments. I wouldn't hesitate to go back again. It was truly wonderful and probably the best B&B experience I've ever had.

Shreena P.

Yelp
Lovely room with a fire place, tub in bedroom, amenities, hot cider, snacks available all day and great DVD collection. Morning breakfast was pleasant but wish they had some local artisan cheeses instead of baby bell. We stayed at the harbor house and felt like the views were a little obstructed, so would recommend the Zahn house. Overall staff were friendly and the rooms themselves were very nice.

Yelp
We loved our stay here for our anniversary! Super clean and welcoming. It feels secluded and very quiet on the inside but you are close to restaurants, brewery and wieners are just a short drive away. We have stayed in Door County several times but this was our first at Blacksmith Inn. We won't be staying anywhere else but here in the future. We had room 4 and everything exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed coffee and muffins on the patio in the morning and relaxed in our whirlpool with the fireplace on at night. The staff really know how to make you feel so welcomed and relaxed. Thank you for a perfect anniversary weekend!

Rick J.

Yelp
To the Blacksmith Inn associates: My wife and I would like to thank you for a wonderful, quiet weekend. This was our first vacation as a couple in 25 years and we had a great time. From the welcoming check-in to the convenient checkout, that arrived all too soon, we were in good hands. The rooms were clean comfortable and possessed character. Just a few minutes walk too Chives(have the poutine) and the Door county brewery (excellent beer with a brew hall vibe). Last- bottomless cookies, hot chocolate, popcorn.... nice perks and a great rate. I've already recommended to close friends. Very cool establishment. Thanks, Rick and Jackie

Yelp
This is the perfect getaway. The rooms are beautiful! Quiet! I recommend the Harbor House rooms 13 or 14 which are 2nd floor views or the historic Zahn house 3rd floors for beautiful views yet older rooms. You can't go wrong with any room though! It's amazing!

Rachel L.

Yelp
The Blacksmith Inn is amazing!! If you need a respite this is the place. Everything is calm & tranquil - relaxing is so easy here. First - you might never want to leave the rooms - comfy bed, fireplace, jacuzzi tub and a porch with hammock overlooking the beautiful landscape and water. The continental breakfast was perfect - fresh made pastry, eggs, cereal & fruit - different everyday- perfect for starting off. My daughter and I also enjoyed to free kayaks - we kayaked all over Baileys Harbor - hearing/seeing birds If your up for more adventures Door County offers so many activities, fun restaurants, hikes etc - all within an easy walk or drive. I already want to come back for a longer stay.

Yelp
We had such an excellent stay at Blacksmith Inn. Greeted & welcomed so well and even got to check-in an hour earlier. The room was tastefully decorated and super clean. The fireplace & whirlpool were such a romantic way to end the evening. Thank you Blacksmith, you made our Door County fall getaway very memorable.

Yelp
We were on our honeymoon and was recommended by another B&B to stay here. We got to the Inn and they changed the price and didn't honor their mistake which pretty much cemented the idea that it's about the money and not the stay for the staff. It was later in the day and the staff seemed like they wanted to play chicken in that we drove there and would roll over and pay the higher price. Not happening when it was their mistake. They'd rather lose the money than fill the room when it was pretty clear there were plenty of vacant rooms. We found the the Church Hill Inn which is an English B&B in Sister Bay. The price was $100 less, awesome huge suite with fireplace, fridge, large jacuzzi, and private balcony. By the pictures of Blacksmith Inn, I'm beyond thrilled we found CHI and stayed there vs Blacksmith Inn. If money is no object and you understand money is all the object to staff, stay here. Otherwise there are obvious better options.

Yelp
Located in Door County, Wisconsin, the Blacksmith Inn on the Shore bed and breakfast offers a relaxing atmosphere and great accommodations. Situated right along the Lake Michigan coast in Bailey's Harbor, our room was only 75 feet from the water. We enjoyed our stay in an time-period room (Room 6) with gorgeous woodwork and modern amenities including a whirlpool. A balcony with a hammock, two wooden lounge chairs, and an end table provided a great place to relax and get away from the big city. Staff is friendly, and they offer free use of bicycles and kayaks to get out and enjoy the natural surroundings. Peninsual State Park is within a 45 minute bicycle ride (15 min by car), and is worth the trip. The only downside with this B&B is the cost, it's pretty expensive, and lack of a hot breakfast. Luckily, we had a gift certificate from Select Registry, so we stayed 3 nights. Breakfast was more of a continental breakfast, which is dissappointing considering how superb everything else was.

Einer A.

Yelp
Can't say enough about this lovely B&B. They have though of everything, from the robes in your room, popcorn, cookies and coffee all day, a make-up mirror in the bathroom, I could go on and on. Comfortable beds, wonderful hosts, a fireplace and incredible view. You won't be disappointed. We stayed at the Zahn house in April. Can't wait to come back sometime during the warm months and sit out on the deck or balcony.

Jessica F.

Yelp
The off season pricing was within my work budget, and I was thrilled. My husband and I have stayed here a few times, and there isn't a nicer place in door county! White Gull is nice, but super overpriced and the noise from breakfast crowds make mornings unpleasant. This inn is homey, serene and delightful. I was warmly welcomed, and the small lobby is always filled with popcorn, cider, tea coffee and snacks. Rooms have whirlpool tubs and are keenly appointed with antiques, but still feel fresh and modern. Can't wait for my next stay!!!

Danielle K.

Yelp
This place was adorable and the perfect getaway for a birthday weekend. I read and read the reviews of all other inns and B&Bs in the area looking for a good place to stay during November. I am so glad I picked this place. I was a little worried that Door County might kind of be dead during the off season, but it was perfect! Everything was a little lower priced and an amazing getaway. The Blacksmith Inn was amazing, we were greeted by someone as soon as we walked in. They showed us to our room and all the amenities. The view was beautiful! I loved all the lights and the coast that you could see from the window. We stayed in a room in the main inn. The breakfast in the morning, was so tasty. They had oatmeal, granola, boiled eggs, yogurt, cheese, organic coffee. It was delicious. They also provided nice trays that you could load your breakfast on and take with you upstairs. I loved the touches of homeade cookies, cocoa, tea, coffee, and popcorn that was always available for guests. The Inn is very close to the main street of Bailey's Harbor so you can walk to some very tasty restaurants. The room was very cutely decorated, with adorable little touches all around. The fireplace was so nice to sit in front of while we listened to the waves roll in off Lake Michigan. The lights in the room are dimmable so you can sit in the two person bathtub. The inn provides bath salts and an amazing apple cider soap! The only thing I would complain about is that the bed was really creaky. A small shift while you were sleeping and a loud creak would ensue, but I'm used to a memory phone mattress...haha. I would recommend staying here to all my friends and I would stay here again next time I venture out to Door County.

Bill H.

Yelp
One of the best B and B's I have stayed at. Very tranquil and quiet. Good lake views. The bed and pillows were heavenly. They had good quality bikes and paddle boards to use. Their continental breakfast was tasty and healthy. A must stay in Door County.

Kris L.

Yelp
The Blacksmith Inn is a must when visiting Door County. The staff's attention to detail and wonderful hospitality make each guest feel like they are the only ones at the Inn. Personal service and only 15 minutes from Peninsula State Park and countless other activities. They are open year round and are a perfect location for a winter get away. Stay Here!

Agnieszka I.

Yelp
This was only my second time in door county and I didn't know I chose a bed and breakfast on the quiet side. It made it even more romantic. Delicious breakfast, large DVD selection if you're bored. Adults only too so no early wakeup from kids which was nice lol. Room 4 view was gorgeous. So peaceful. A true getaway.

Erin O.

Yelp
My husband and I recently stayed here on our honeymoon. I grew up vacationing in Door County. Until this trip, my husband had never been. The Blacksmith Inn was new for the both of us! We were SO happy here. Over the years, I've driven past The Blacksmith Inn many times, and I had no idea how wonderful it is! The staff is very nice and accommodating. The inn itself is situated right on the shore (as it says in the name), and it's lovely! When we arrived, we were greeted and given a quick tour of the common area. The host pointed out they set out fresh, homemade cookies each day, and yummy popcorn in the afternoon/evening. They also provide a free breakfast each morning. We had mentioned that we were coming up for our honeymoon, and they set out a bottle of bubbles and two champagne glasses for us! So sweet! Our room was beautiful, nicely decorated, and very clean. The whirlpool was such a treat. We were impressed by how the owners seem to think of everything. For example, they provide bath grains for the tub, which smell so good. The rooms have a fireplace and a ceiling fan - so you're comfortable regardless of the temperature outside. They also provide makeup removing towelettes as well as a black towel that's labeled "makeup" - which is so smart and thoughtful! I know that, in part, they do this to keep their towels nice, but I can't tell you the number of times that I've stayed at other hotels and have been afraid to ruin the pristine, bright white towels. It took the stress out of the situation entirely! I know it's a little thing - but the little things add up, and we really appreciated the thoughtfulness and attention to detail that went into the entire stay. They go above and beyond which makes for a comfortable, happy, and fun getaway. If you're looking for any of the following, this is the place to stay: - great location (right near the water) in Bailey's Harbor (just a quick drive to Fish Creek, Egg Harbor, Ephraim, Sister Bay, etc.) - a clean, cozy place that smells incredible (It smells your Grandmother just made cookies - seriously!) - and a kind staff They really take care of you at The Blacksmith Inn. We can't wait to go back!

Stephanie N.

Yelp
This place is amazing. My boyfriend had been away for a week for work so we decided to meet here for a romantic weekend...we were so surprised at the level of detail to service this inn had. We have stayed in four star resorts and this is right up there. It has everything and fabulous service too! The views are spectacular. We cannot wait to go back! Thank you Brian!!!

Karen D.

Yelp
I adore the Blacksmith inn. The rooms and building are quaintly but modernly decorated. The staff are beyond friendly, and the little extras like daily freshmade lemonade and popcorn are a real treat. You are also right on the lake, and can sit on the catwalk by the lake or use their canoes to go out on it. I'd recommend The Blacksmith Inn to anyone. You'll love it.

Lindsie M.

Yelp
What a lovely charming b&b. We had a wonderful stay with friendly staff, thoughtful touches like fresh baked cookies in the lobby and warm popcorn in the evening. Spacious room with perfect outside space. Hearing the waves along the shore at night was just what we needed. We'll be back for sure.

Yelp
Our stay at The Blacksmith Inn exceeded our expectations. We have been to Door County on numerous occasions and stayed at many different types of properties but none have compared to our experience here. I am fairly certain The Blacksmith Inn will be our only choice going forward, as long as we are leaving the fur kids at home. We stayed in Room 2, which is the only suite at the property. The room, as well as the entire inn, is beautifully decorated. The atmosphere in relaxing, warm and inviting. The bed was very comfortable, as was the rest of the seating in the room. The room had a bird book and binoculars, a nice touch, and a Bose speaker for listening to your favorite music from your phone. The view from the private balcony is outstanding. Games and a video library offer an opportunity to spend some down time in the beautiful surroundings. The owners of the property, as well as any of the staff we met, were very friendly and accommodating. Some reviews comment on the fact that "only" a continental breakfast is offered. First, the website is very up front about that. Second, it is the most thoughtful and satisfying continental breakfast I have seen. In addition to a homemade pastry, yogurt, fruit and granola there are hard-boiled eggs, cheese and cereal. They offer juices and smoothies as well as coffee and tea. Truly, there is nothing about which to complain. The afternoon cookies and the popcorn at night are also a nice treat. The grounds are beautiful and it is so nice to have a dock with chairs where you can look out over the bay. The Ridges Sanctuary is right next door and provides a wonderful opportunity for an educational walk. We always find it satisfying to stay on the quiet side of the peninsula. I cannot recommend The Blacksmith Inn more highly. It was a wonderful, relaxing stay that went by way too fast.

Mizz J.

Yelp
My husband and I had been looking forward to our Door County vacation with friends for months and had reservations here. Unfortunately our son became ill and we were unable to make the trip. According to the policy we had agreed to we were obligated to pay for our rooms unless they could be booked by someone else - at this last minute. It was nice to learn that not only had our rooms been rebooked, the innkeepers were honest about it and let us know via email. They could easily have charged us and we would never have known whether the rooms were booked or not. I look forward to eventually getting to Door County to meet these delightful, honest people and stay in what our friends report to be a lovely and relaxing place.

Cindy H.

Yelp
My husband & I stayed here for our honeymoon and it was the perfect step away from the chaos that we needed. I don't normally dig the country kitsch look, but this place is absolutely adorable and makes you feel like you're at home. Every morning they bake delicious fresh muffins for you (a different variety every day) and have a decent small spread of breakfast goods. Each evening they have the best popcorn for you to take to your room and a decent selection of DVDs if you're in the mood for relaxing in front of a movie. Our room had its own whirlpool tub, we soaked in that every night, which was nice to relieve some of the leg tension from some of the hiking we had done in the beautiful surrounding areas. Every room has it's own private porch & hammock and a great view of Lake Michigan--I only wish it had been a little warmer while we were there so we could have enjoyed them more. The staff was very friendly and helpful. If you have the means, I recommend you check them out!

MJ E.

Yelp
This beautiful inn is located right on Lake Michigan near the Ridges Sanctuary. The attention to detail is amazing. Enjoy the beautifully landscaped grounds overlooking the lake, the beautiful rooms with balcony hammock, the fresh baked cookies and cabinet full of dvds and the shed full of bikes. Great, great place for a romantic get away.

Lauren D.

Yelp
Everything is amazing about the Blacksmith Inn; it's like something out of a dream or a movie. The ambience of exterior of the grounds is breath taking. From the old blacksmith building, to the gardens, to the amazing pier on the lake. The interior of the rooms have such a country, quaint feel to them. We had a first floor room with a hammock that was great to sit in early morning to gaze out at the view of the lake. The fire place was so cozy and added a great romantic touch. The locally made hand soap in the bathroom was so delicious smelling we had to buy some to take home! They offered great opting for breakfast. The inn keepes make homemade granola and cookies, fruit, cereal and delicious oatmeal. They also left out gluten free oatmeal for me to have! They coffee they have is to die for! Along with several juices. In the evening they left out lemonade and fresh popped popcorn, which was a nice little snack to have available. The BnB also offered some complimentary sports. They had bikes to use off the premisses and kayaked and stand up paddle boards. The SUPing was sooo much fun! The cove is mostly calm, for newbies so it was the perfect setting to try out!! I don't think I can wait to come back up to Baileys Harbor. The Blacksmith in will be our go to place from now on, no contest! Thanks to all of the staff for making our stay the best Door County trip we have had to date!

Yelp
My wife and I got married last October. We were not anticipating going on a honeymoon as my wife had just started a new job and didn't think she'd get the time off. Well, last minute she got the time off and we scrambled to find a place to go. We found what seemed to be the last place with a last minute room in Door County (a place in Sturgeon Bay - I won't name it) but it was a HUGE disappointment. The place was clean and nice, but didn't have anything special about it. It just kind of threw off our special week. Well, just shy of a year later my wife is 6 months pregnant and we decide to go on another trip as our last trip together before the baby comes. She didn't feel comfortable flying so we scoured the internet for a nice place within driving distance of Milwaukee. After weeks of looking for a special place we reluctantly looked at Door County again. If soo many other people love it, we must have just had a one off bad experience. Well, we found the Blacksmith Inn and by the website alone, we knew we found a great place. We arrived late at night but everything was set for us. We spent the next day kayaking and just relaxing around the inn. The care and attention to detail just knocked our socks off. We've been home for just a couple days and have already told everyone of the Blacksmith Inn

Debbie I.

Yelp
We had a very relaxing and pampered time at the Blacksmith Inn On The Shore-Baileys Harbor. We arrived on Saturday late afternoon. We were warmly greeted by Bryan Nelson,owner/Innkeeper. He remembered our names, and gave us a tour of all the amenities.Brian has an excellent eye for detail. When we stepped into the room, we felt as if we stepped back in time 100 years. Our room was beautiful! The modern luxuries were blended into the room, without taking away from the historic ambiance. The bed was so comfortabe, with many pillows for added comfort. The view from our room was breathtaking. The continental brkfst was excellent. Homemade cookies were always on hand.(that does not happen at home!) There was always a snack available, and anything you wanted to drink. The entire Inn was emaculate! Bryan was always available and ready to meet our needs with a cheerful manner. He made sure that we felt right at home. The inn was our first stop in a week in Door County. Nothing else compared to our stay at The Blacksmith Inn! Thanks for the memories, Bob & Deb
