Blackwood Coffee & Bistro

This is a great coffee shop with fresh homemade food and goodies. The food is delicious, the coffee or specialty coffees are many and the choice can be difficult as they all look so good. I am a diehard Vanilla Latte person and I was not disappointed. The staff are friendly and ready to take your order. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and a great place to do a little work or visit with a friend. I would highly recommend taking a drive to Claresholm and visit this gem and enjoy a coffee l, some lunch and the sites.

I ordered delivery for my niece's 10th birthday and then was notified that they were not able to deliver. HUGE disappointment since it was a surprise for my nieces 10th birthday and I live 4 hours away. The coffee shop owner graciously offered to pay for the local cab to deliver it. And the coffee shop team wrote a Happy bday on her hot chocolate cup! 10/10 thoughtfulness.

This location in Claresholm is the sister to the Blackwood in Fort McLeod. The same products are offered here so there will be no surprises if you are familiar with the other location. One nice feature is that there is outside seating here. 5 tables are available on the sidewalk in front of the store. Bottom Line: 8.2 out of 10

Great authentic coffee shop. Freshly brewed coffee was awesome along with a selection of pastries , brownies and other food options. ( soup , wraps, sandwiches). Definitely a must visit. We'll be back.

Americano tasted burnt and was so hot I couldn’t drink for 10 mins; and then it tasted like dirty water. They offer 16oz and 20oz only; a great Americano has never existed in cup that big! Cool space, but that’s about it. And the irony of the writing on the cup was that the two staff weren’t even remotely happy. All in all, I’ll skip this place in the future.

stopped in for breakfast after reading positive reviews and had brewed coffee and breakfast sandwich of egg, back bacon and gouda cheese, toasted. both coffee and sandwich tasty and total for both was $11.45, so reasonable. sandwich would benefit from the addition of butter on the bun and a bit of lettuce. overall, a good experience.

We just found this Bistro on route from Lethbridge to Fernie. What a find! Everything we ordered was delicious unique in its own way and very satisfying. This is a very clean and welcoming stop.
