A really nice quaint area to walk around and take in the various murals! Some restaurants and coffee shops to stop in and take a break if needed. You can see everything in about 30-45 minutes.

This is a nice alley with a great coffee spot, beautiful murals and artwork to look at. Also, they have a very popular dim sum place. Lots of people come here to walk with their dogs, so it’s definitely gorgeous to come here on a sunny day from the Mount Vernon metro, which is only a few blocks down.

Blagden Alley, center of the UNIVERSE!!! Its not your typical alley. PHOTOSHOOT destination, many colorful murals, cool restaurants, great bars. Though a diverse locale, can be over run with hipster/frat types and the overly entitled😒😞🙃.....still A SECOND HOME❤❤❤

I recently had the opportunity to photograph weddings and engagement sessions at Blagden Alley NW in DC, and I was blown away by the beauty of the location. The alley's historic charm and urban feel provided the perfect setting for my client's special moments. I captured stunning and unique images that truly reflected the love and joy of the couples I worked with. I highly recommend Blagden Alley as a photography location for those seeking an unforgettable backdrop for their special occasion.

Blagden Alley is one of many historic alleys in Washington, D.C. with brick pavement. However, this one is restored into a gold mine of restaurants, shops and murals. With several entry points, once inside the alley you'll find a Michelin-star restaurant (The Dabney), a top-rated cocktail bar (Columbia Room), a coffee shop (La Colombe) and the D.C. Alley Museum, an outdoor museum of street art by local muralists.
