Blakes Manor Self Contained Heritage Accommodation

We booked Blake’s Manor for our sister in law visiting from WA and highly recommend staying here. The owners were delightful to liaise with, the room was very clean and comfortable and the numerous thoughtful touches throughout the property and the delicious breakfast highlights well the care and thoughtfulness of the owners. Thank you.

Great location being walking distance to everything in Deloraine, as well as being a short drive away from Cradle Mountain and the Caves system at Mole Creek. Great atmosphere being very private. I cannot say enough about how hospitable and welcoming both Peter and Georgia were. Breakfast was amazing, with a fresh hot loaf baked that afternoon. Even fresh walnuts from the trees on my last day. Just a pity that I couldn’t crack them open to eat them. Little treats like chocolates, port and a cheese board just overwhelm the arrival. So generous! It was my pleasure to share their home. I felt like I was home and was sad to leave this morning. Very comfortable bed, spacious bathroom and cosy room. Full kitchen that I thoroughly used, with Woolworths just a 5 minute walk away. Just perfect!

Family and I loved the stay here. Hosts were so friendly, made us feel welcome, and the place was fantastic. The hosts really thought of everything to make our stay pleasant! Would definitely recommend Blakes Manor for anyone staying in Deloraine.

Georgia and Peter's welcome was as warm as the freshly baked bread they presented to us upon arrival. Our hosts happily baked a second loaf for us, when requested. Yum!|The Blake's Mews suite was very private, comfortable and roomy, with an excellent bed. We were able to park directly outside, which was handy.|Location is excellent for exploring Deloraine on foot (Platypus hunting!) or the region by car, and our 5 night stay will be extended to 10, next time we visit Tas. There is just so much to see and do in this gorgeous area.|Very, very happy with all aspects of our stay here. Thanks guys!|Andy and Jo.

Absolutely Adorable 🥰 Greeted by the owners with lovely fresh bread 🥖 and fresh treats. Lovely people. We have been here a week and a half and we will be sorry to leave. Very cosy and warm and welcoming visit into a beloved era. With all the modern amenities included. Great information provided on arrival regarding what to do and where to eat. Superb location to all essentials IE Woolies our favourite pub on the corner for great food and conversation. Can not be happier or recommend higher. Kev and Samantha 👏🏻❤️

The hosts, Georgia and Peter, were extremely welcoming and helpful in planning what to see in the region and where to eat in Deloraine. The property is situated in a very quiet area but close to shops & eating venues. The fabulous river walk was only about 100m away at the end of the street and we walked the loop trail each morning. Woolworths is even closer in the opposite direction.|The property’s gardens were magnificent. We were given a generous breakfast hamper, including a delicious freshly baked loaf of home baked bread. We stayed in the Quamby Cottage which has lovely views of the surrounding countryside from both the kitchen and bedroom. It was lovely opening the curtains in the morning and letting the sun shine in. The cottage was very tastefully decorated in the heritage style. It was warm, had a good sized, well-heated bathroom and the bed was very comfortable. It had all the kitchen equipment that we needed and a full sized refrigerator. We will certainly return there when we next visit Tasmania.|

Georgia and Peter are excellent hosts, welcoming you with some warm bread, breakfast hamper, local produce, beverage to warm the soul. They provide you with a brief history of the gorgeous building you will be staying in before showing you to your room. They provide you with interesting information about the local area, suggest some walks or activities to do, places to eat out. The grounds and superb, it was lovely to sit in the garden to eat our meals prepared in our room. The room is decorated to reflect era of the past, is comfortable, clean and tidy. Highly recommend a stay at Blakes Manor.

Lovely accommodation in an excellent location. Rooms were spotlessly clean, breakfast was plentiful. A specialty homemade loaf of bread was fresh from the oven on our arrival. Georgia & Peter were delightful and welcoming. Their knowledge of the local sights and eateries were second to none. We will be back again. Highly recommended.
