Thank you. Thank you.
No, really.
I REALLY needed a good cup of coffee. Since moving to Richmond in September, we have been on a serious mission to find coffee that was at least drinkable, a step above brown bitter RVA water, something - anything that would come close to the amazing coffee shop we left behind.
I picked up a bag of whole bean Dark As Dark, which promised to be nothing short of a donkey kick - you must be fully committed to caffeine in order to ingest this and survive. Well, that's me in a nutshell. Anything short of a nuclear attack of coffee in the morning and I'm liable to....well....let's just say I am micro-managed by a strong-willed three year old all day. That said, I need it. NOW.
And you know what? This coffee is good! Definitely the best coffee I have had in Richmond so far and the price is more than reasonable. I am excited to try their other roasts.
Basically - if you're in Richmond and you need/like/love/can't live without coffee, Blanchard's is your best bet.
