I've been going to Blancos since day one. The guacamole is the best in town. All their food is delicious and always presented beautifully on the plate. The bar is first rate. They make delicious drinks. The servers are always well trained and friendly. Sam only hires the best. All I All I consider Blancos to be one of the best restaurants in town.

Our server provided exceptional, A1 customer service from start to finish. We never had to ask for refills or assistance because everything was handled before we even thought about it. The server was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely welcoming. A great server makes all the difference, and this level of service elevated the entire dining experience. Blanco Tacos and Tequila is the perfect spot for a date night, girls’ night out, business dinner, or a relaxed evening with friends. Between the delicious food, excellent service, and vibrant atmosphere, this Scottsdale location delivers a well-rounded dining experience that is definitely worth visiting again.

Went here with my wife for dinner and a date night on our last evening in Scottsdale, and we were immediately blown away by the food. I had the jalapeño pineapple margarita—absolute perfection. My wife ordered a chimichanga, and that was spot-on too. Overall, the food was excellent and definitely worth coming back for whenever we’re in town again. The only downside was the restroom situation—men’s was outside in a trailer, and the women’s was oddly set up inside the men’s area. A little awkward, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience.

AMAZING drinks and food! This was are first stop after a long day of flights and airport fun! The service is not great. Needs to reflect the caliber of the food…. We had to ask 3 people for another round of drinks. The waitstaff need to be more attentive and responsive.

We went here due to a recommendation for gluten allergy, my wife has celiacs so even cross-contamination will make her sick for days. The food was absolutely phenomenal, tasted delicious and they were able to adjust the majority of the menu to be gluten free. Our server, Manny is incredibly professional and quickly adjusted everything on the table. Once we mentioned celiacs. When my wife's food came out it was escorted by the manager as well. Who made sure that gloves were changed and everything was wiped down and everything was dropped in a clean fryer. My only gripe is the music was pretty loud. Had a hard time holding a conversation with my wife across the table but it's a very small gripe for health phenomenal the service was. Outstanding work Manny, dining experiences tend to be miserable because nobody ever takes it seriously when my wife gets sick for it but you went above and beyond.

Just had a nice meal @ Blanco, food and drinks were all nicely prepared, atmosphere was relaxing for a family dinner with kids. We were very pleasantly surprised with Zeeshan the restaurant manager. Even though he was not serving our table, it’s apparent that he was paying attention to see if there was any potential service shortfalls. He stopped by and apologized for the slow food prep (busy Saturday night!), even though we were not at all unhappy with anything. Kudos to Zershan for being a really good supervisor, paying close attention to the dining experience! Excellent service all around from the crew as well!

Great food and service! The cheese enchilada on the enchilada trio was one of my favorites. Everything was fresh and tasty and came out super fast. Drinks looked amazing, but we didn’t try them. Our waiter was Riko, and he was one of the best waiters we’ve ever had. He was so efficient and helpful. We will definitely be back for more!

We closed out our visit to Arizona with dinner at Blanco Cocina. First, let me say that the staff is FANTASTIC at every level. That, in itself, is remarkable given how difficult it is to find good help for restaraunts these days. And the atmosphere was spectacular. Loved the fire place (though they sat two people in front of it and subsequently turned it off while there were there thus killing the wonderful fire vibe). My issue was the food. Now, in the spirit of transparency, I married a woman from New Mexico who cooks authentic Mexican food so the qualms I have with the food is due to being majorly spoiled. Two primary issues..first, the red chili sauce was tomato based. I didn't expect that and I didn't care for it. The second was the rice. I was expecting Mexican rice. What I got was a rice pilaf I could get at any American restaraunt. Needless to say, my wife HATED it. I am being more forgiving. LOL! That said, the fish taco was delicious! And my daughter, who lives in Phoenix (we were visiting her for the holidays) loved her chimichanga. If are you not a stickler for your Mexican food, then this place is great. It was just disappointing for us.

Came by on a Saturday afternoon during the summer. Sat at the bar - great service. Really nice interior. Tried a few appetizers- all delicious. The tacos are the best. Very pleased.

I love this place so freaking much, just another amazing fox concept. The margs are fine, u can find better in the valley at other places but the food here absolutely rips. The chicken carnitas tacos and the tiger shrimp fajitas are my favorites. My gf loves the steak and avocado salad along with the carne asada tacos.. Service is always great. Worth the price!

I adore this place so much and every time I'm here I find something else to love! this is now my 4th time here when I fly into phx this is a must! my last experience was on cinco de mayo I flew in with friends and made the res for a different location by accident we called the right location and rushed over they actually accommodated us which was incredible considering they were closing in under an hour. I went last night with my husband and by accident again had a res for a different location smh we were able to sit at the bar (which we wanted) and had the WNBA finals put on. Manny and Jordan behind the bar I can't say enough about they are a dream team of hospitality!!!! seamless service while being attentive to all. I also love the manager is so hands on, the service bar was a little full and she grabbed a tray and ran drinks. this is everything you want to see in management.. love this place keep up the great work.. sincerly, The NY couple that fly in to dine here

I grabbed lunch with a few coworkers here and had a good experience. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. We were in and out quickly, just over an hour. Be prepared for a short wait during peak lunch hours, but it's definitely manageable. Blanco is always a favorite and I love their happy hour. Everyone in my party enjoyed their meals

Love this Blanco Cocina + Cantina. My girlfriend are regulars: always get the fish tacos. Very good. Today I got the tortilla soup and felt it was awesome as well. Nothing but good things to say. Service is always very good.

Perfect spot for both lunch and dinner! The drinks were excellent, and the food recommendations were on point--warm queso, Mexican corn, and the machaca chimichangas were fantastic. The carnitas tacos were hands down the best, and the street corn was delicious. Service was friendly and quick, which made the experience even better. While there are several locations across the valley, this one is my favorite. Note: They don't offer Taco Tuesday specials, so keep that in mind if that's what you're after. Also the restaurant gets pretty noisy in the main dining area. Weather permitting, they have a nice patio area.

Great service. Fun atmosphere. Good place for groups and family. Food was just ok. Chips and salsa are good, ask for the spicy salsa! Enchilada sauce wasn't good. Shrimp fajitas were good, like the homemade corn tortillas. My husband ordered the tequila tasting. He was happy with it. We would go back for drinks and appetizers. Probably a good spot for happy hour.

I've been here 3 times now and thought I would take time to write my first review on Blanco. I like the atmosphere as well as the staff. The servers have always been quite nice. The bartenders in particular are very attentive and friendly. But, unfortunately, the food just isn't any good. The chips and salsa taste store bought. They cannot be homemade. We have tried everything from the carne asada tacos which were dry and overcooked to mahi mahi tacos which did not taste fresh. The bbq pork tacos, again dry. Short rib machaca cheese crisp which was dry with no flavor, avocado Caesar with steak, overcooked steak, carne asada fajitas, and pork chili verde enchiladas. For a Mexican food restaurant, nothing tastes fresh and everything lacks flavor. It's sad because this is a Fox Concepts restaurant which I almost always enjoy. I'm giving Blanco three stars because the staff and service has been very good. If I go black, it will just be for the drinks and atmosphere, not the food.

I went here a couple of times when I was staying close by. I love the watermelon margarita and taco salad. So good!

Amazing queso and tacos! For all of you vegetarians this meal is for you!! We ordered the grilled avocado tacos and warm queso and chips tonight and it did not disappoint!! Best part, no grease so you don't feel guilty.. A must try for sure.

OK, usually I'm with 100% against Americanized Mexican food. I don't normally go to restaurants like this because it's not authentic food and I was 100% correct. This was the worst Mexican food I've ever had in my life. you may ask then why did I go? I went to this restaurant because I didn't feel like driving far from my hotel and I thought maybe, just maybe it would give me what I wanted. I should've known better when there was so many authentic Mexican restaurants in Scottsdale, why did I choose this one. I got what I deserved I think I would rather have Taco Bell than this restaurant. The service was extremely poor. The only good experience I had was where we sat, which was outside. I do not recommend anyone who loves authentic Mexican food to go to this restaurant.

Service is great. The employees have a lot of tenure and they're very proud of the food they serve. Friendly and attentive and they know the menu well and we're able to offer. Good suggestions. I am about my Carnitas and the way it was described was not to my liking however, I decided to order one just to try it and it was delicious. There definitely are a spin on the traditional tacos.. they use micro greens, fresh vegetables, and unique style that uses Latin spices in a way that seems odd, but it is tasty...ex. What did I have? I had a watermelon margarita with tahine and cumin laced tin...yum! Who would've thought of putting cumin around the rim of a margarita? Great ambience. It was definitely a place where we would visit again..

I am updating my review and increasing to 4 stars based on my most recent experience at Blanco. Everything was delicious, the short rib enchiladas, although not prepared on the cast iron skillet, were delicious; their ratio of cheese, meat, sauce and tortilla was spot on. Their salsa seems better now as well, it has a depth of flavor that was missing before, and the perfect cilantro kick that really came through in each bite. I'm glad I gave Blanco another chance, after forsaking them for several years, they are back in my good graces now :) Highly Recommend

Service was good, food was great, ambiance was good. Great date night place. Menu felt limited and was missing some items I'd love to have seen but overall good place for date night or casual girls night out.

Jason and his staff exceeded all expectations! The food was absolutely incredible--every dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. You can tell they put so much passion and attention into each plate. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff was attentive without being overbearing. From start to finish, it was a top-notch dining experience that I'll be recommending to everyone I know. Huge thanks to Jason and the entire team for an unforgettable meal!!

Love everything about Blanco!! The margaritas are amazing!! Especially the Rosa Bonita or when I am in the mood for spicy, the spicy skinny!!! Food wise ou won't be disappointed and the ambiance and service has always been great!

Best chimichanga I've ever had. Slight crunch with full flavor. Fresh chips & mild salsa. Great service. Outside in sun was perfect.

Mmm...grilled Street corn and queso is always a great start! Machaca short rib and BBQ pork cheese crisps washed down with margaritas...mmmm! We each ordered a cheese crisp but should have shared. I love this location, near old town and with a beautiful mountain backdrop. Great place to take visitors who are staying in one of the many hotels nearby.

The ambiance here is crazy good! I love the whole vibe! They have indoor-outdoor seating which is great! Let's talk about the food! I ordered the machaca chimichanga enchilada style and I was not that impressed with it! It was a little too mushy and cheesy to me and not enough meat! I've had better for sure! The ceviche was excellent, and I don't even like ceviche but I enjoyed theirs! The guacamole was tasty, but the salsa tasted like it came from a jar! It did not taste fresh as all, and it lacked flavor! For the love of God, it's a Mexican restaurant so people expect spicy food!! That was the absolute worst salsa I've ever had!! The drinks were excellent! We did some sort of shot and I enjoyed it! However, the food to me was just okay! Nothing to write home about!! #spiceitup

We were a party of 14 showed up around 6:30 pm on New Year's Day. We had to wait over an hour to get seated! Our server was extremely prompt and provided very excellent service. Their burritos and burrito bowls were delicious. Over all great service and hearty entrees. Highly recommend.

Great atmosphere, nice service, and the Ranges won while we were there! We loved the salsa with chips and the corn as appetizers. The enchiladas were very good, especially my short ribs. Cocktails were delicious. Truly, I would give only 4.5 stars if that was an option, because the flan was full of whole kernels...full!!!...whose idea is that anyway?? I already had corn for appetizer, thank you! no thank you.

This restaurant was so amazing I almost forgot to get pictures of anything we ordered! If you are looking for the best queso of your life, well look no further because it's here at Blanco. It was the perfect start to our delicious meals and margaritas. You truly can't go wrong with anything here. They have indoor and outdoor seating and it's a lively vibe. The service was incredible and our waiter had great recommendations. This is a must try if you are in the area! We will definitely be back again!

Made reservations for a group gathering. Service was amazing. We really enjoyed the drinks and food. We had carne asada enchiladas. It was amazing. I had the shrimp tacos on corn tortillas. Everything was delicious. The rice was so flavorful as well as the beans. Indoor and outdoor seating. Has a parking lot.

You can't go wrong at Blanco. This location has a beautiful interior space, but we always prefer the front patio if weather permits. The staff is fun, friendly and efficient and the food is always good. Tonight we enjoyed guacamole and an assortment of tacos washed down with their amazing watermelon margaritas - YUM. The favorite of the night had to be the braised short rib taco - beautiful flavor profile and melt-in-your-mouth delicious! And oh - the RICE. OMG - I'm pretty sure there is a pound of butter in each serving but I don't care! Chefs kiss! This is by no means "traditional " Mexican, but it is consistently good and the "resort vibe" makes it an especially fun place to bring out-of-town guests!

We were just hungry enough for a couple of apps and drinks: Margaritas: just right...not too tart and not too sweet Guacamole: freshly made, small chunks of avocados, diced onions tomatoes, and cheese sprinkled on top - - 5-star! Tikka chicken cheese crisp: like a little thin crust pizza, with some of the tastiest chicken I've had! 5-star! And the chips/salsa were incredible - a great experience made even greater by our server (Joey)

Service was excellent and ambiance enjoyable. But the food was absolutely horrible. Worse Mexican food I've ever had. I ordered shrimp tacos. I couldn't chew the shrimp it was so hard , overcooked and stringy. My husband ordered the mahi mahi tacos. A bit better but the fish was burned. They were busy do not sure what happened with our order.

Food and service was great! We sat at the bar and our bartender was super informative and so gracious with all our questions as it was our first time! Definitely will go back? Everything was delicious!

Visiting from Calif. We looked up on Google for mexican food, and this place was a preferred result. We were told 10 minutes, but we're seated in 5 minutes. The front reception guests were very polite and inviting. Our waitress Aleez properly introduced herself and was all smiles and relatively happy to be here serving. The place was full of patrons, and the music was not loud at all. The tables are large and spacious around. A bar is at the center of this location and is available for immediate seating. We ordered appetizers, which were delicious. (Photo added) We tried the steak fajitas with added shrimp. It was pretty good. I recommend this place if you're visiting Scottsdale AZ. It seems to be a locals favorite hot spot. Will be back again.

We come here quite often. Sweet potato enchilada enchiladas, Nachos, tortilla soup, carne asada fajitas, and the guacamole are all staples. Service for the most part is friendly and quick. They have indoor searing, bar in the center and then their outdoor patio is really nice. They also have a fire pit. Their margaritas are always a hit! Come for happy hour and get a pitcher for half off!

Was in the area today and of course Blanco was on my mind! As soon as the chips hit the table my kid went to town on them and would hand me one every few minutes. They are amazing and dangerous so be careful haha. I wasn't planning on drinking but I saw the espresso martini and that went out the window. I ordered the braised short rib tacos and holy heck they were bombbb. The service was great and after I left a friend told me I needed to get the nachos and how they are epic so I guess that means I'll have to come back soon!

We recently came here on a trip to Phoenix for the Boise State bowl game and we tried this place out and holy crap. It is amazing. I can't even explain to you. This is one of the best Mexican foods that we've had in a very, very long time recommend it all the way 10 out of 10.

One of my Sunday go-to brunch place when my friend and I just want to relax at the bar. Service and food always consistent, normally I order the same thing but the last 2 time I deviated and ordered a different drink and entrees. I ordered the Jalapeno Pineapple Margarita and the Caramelized Sweet Potato Enchilada and Short Rib Machaca, Guacamole, Charred Onion Cheese Crisp. The Margarita was delish. I wasn't in the mood for meat, so the sweet potato enchilada hit the spot, really good. Last time there, I ordered the Chicken Tortilla Soup and the Cheese Crisp, so good. The soup was weak but the Crisp was a great sharable item. Always consistent... great bar area to chill for us for Sunday brunch.

Grilled mahi mahi tacos were absolutely amazing and delicious. What a great find for me as I love fish tacos. The mojito was good and the food was fantastic. I'll definitely eat here again as I shop at this location when I the PHX area. Service was as expected and the clientele all looked like business lunch crowd. Good experience.

Really solid food and great service. However, it's beyond ridiculous that they have Valet parking for this place. It doesn't need it and looks way too pretentious and "try hard". Not that nice of a restaurant. People just park at Trader Joe's right by it.

Best taco spot in PHX by far. Great fresh flavors and affordable prices. Also love the warm environment and attentive staff. Always love getting to stop here when I'm in town.

Good service. Good flavor. Good location. We sat outside as we had our dog with us. They kindly activated heaters, so we could stay warm. Why 3 stars? The smallest entree I have ever ordered for $17. Two hard Shell Machaca tacos. I wish I took a picture. Small scoop of rice. Saw more plate than food. Uggh. Good machaca beef, though.

We arrived a few mins before our reservation & sat outside. Our waitress was friendly & knowledgeable. We enjoyed everything we ordered. The complimentary salsa needed more flavor, spicier wouldn't have hurt either. Their cocktails were nice but there needs to be tajin for the rim, especially for margs. The chairs were uncomfortable. Overall, pretty good experience.

Fajitas were so good!! Carne asada was so flavorful and tender. Whatever seasoning they use to make the fajitas is delicious. Spencer was very attentive and provided excellent service.

We had a great experience dining at Blanco! Our server was great and made our experi once great. The staff was very friendly and made sure we had a wonderful evening. Very attentive and kind staff. The atmosphere is super cute! Lots of greenery and very trendy. The food came out very hot and was plated very nicely. Delicious! I highly recommend!

Stopped by during happy hour to try some appetizers and drinks. Blown away by how tasty the queso and street corn were. The drinks were equally delicious. The service was friendly and attentive. The restaurant had a modern hacienda look to it that was very nice and pleasing to the eye. I'll definitely be back whenever in the area.

First time in, not overly impressed, overall food was good and service was great. Paying $4.25 for a coke is a bit much.

What a fun night! My parents are in town and wanted mexican so what better place. We had a 20 minute wait on Monday night and got a high top table. The mango stand margarita is absolutely delicious and one cocktail is so good! I had the shrimp fajitas and the Shrimp is spicy but so flavorful. Kayla was our server and check on us to make sure we had a good time! Can't wait to come back and seat at the bar!

I thought this place was pretty yummy, I got the taco salad, with grilled chicken instead of beef, and nix the corn and cheese. The poblano ranch was so yummy, while sure kinda basic, I thought it was good. Hubs who is severely lactose intolerant mentioned to the sever nor dairy on anything, but sonething definitely was cooked with dairy because he was sick after, the way he gets after consuming dairy. He was annoyed obviously. I'd probably give this place another try, but my husband says he doubts he's return. (Insert shrug) Only thing, service was sloooow. We kept looking around for the server, seeing a glimpse here or there. Can we get a refill? The check? Then with my hubs explicit ask of no dairy, and there was, he was peeved. (Insert shrug)

We came on a Friday night with a table of 4. We tried making reservations earlier in the week but there wasn't any available. We arrived at 6:30 and it was a 90 minute wait, though most tables were empty. We luckily got seats at the bar, but will make sure next time to have a reservation or not come here. The bartenders were really awesome! They welcomed us quickly and even helped get 4 chairs together so we could all sit down. It was our friends birthday and they made it special for her. They did a specialty shot just for her to celebrate! We all got margaritas. I had the skinny margarita which was really good! Another person had the skinny marg with jalapeños and said it tasted really good! I haven't had chicken pastor before so when I saw chicken pastor tacos on the menu, I had to get them. Man am I glad I did! I really love the combo of pineapple with any meat really so I was excited to try this. It had excellent flavor, and wasn't fatty at all! Definitely some of my favorite tacos I've had in the valley! The restaurant has a cool vibe to it. The bar area is pretty big with tables surrounding it and some outside too.

had a fantastic time here with lots of delicious food. warm chips were brought out immediately as well as some medium spicy salsa. service was great. i got two tacos (one chicken and one carne asada) with black beans on corn tortillas. they had a ton of gluten free options. the queso and guacamole both hit the spot. the corn was also really good (a little on the sweeter side) overall great vibes.

Had reservation. Seated immediately. Outstanding service. Great food. They have all the usual menu items as any other Mexican place but they also had a few things I had never seen before. Even the rice and beans had subtle differences that improved on standard rice and beans. Drinks were great too. Loved the layout of the place. Big bar in the middle and plenty of tables and booths.. plus outside seating. A lot of tv's for sports. I think I saw free valet service.

The service was outstanding, easily a 5 star. The food was horrible. Shrimp and fish tacos, what could go wrong? The shrimp was cooked to a rubbery texture, awful. The fish was burned beyond edible. I wouldn't go back.

I had made a reservation so we only had a 5 minute wait. Scottsdale is very crowded this time of year for Spring Training. Our waitress brought chips and salsa right away as well as our drinks. Chips were fresh and crunchy and salsa was chunky. I had a Caesar salad with avocado which was a nice twist. Noticing other patrons dishes which all looked good.
