Blanco Colima

The best restaurant we've been to during 12 days in Mexico. We'll definitely come back next time. In an impressive historic building lies this beautiful restaurant. It's upscale with prices on the upper end but friendly and accommodating. Service was flawless and the food & drinks unique, fresh, and delicious. They even offer OTH treats. Wonderful spot 🙏

An excellent spot to impress while enjoying an excellent meal but may not fully match the price. First, a shoutout to service overall, which was excellent from beginning to end. Accommodating, attentive, and well trained. And if you’re here for the atmosphere, you’ll love it. Now, for the important matter. All the starters were for the most part excellent. The wagyu was intense but in a good way. You kept wanting to eat more. The shaved octopus was a work of art with a chinese inspired sauce which imho was a bit too salty. The ribeye chichiron was well prepared but the corn was too chewy, maybe intentional? For our entree the snapper was sadly overcooked and while the corn was more tender here, the overall dish was bland. The short rib was full of flavor, one I would order again. Cocktails were midtier. Overall, it’s a great spot to impress a party who will appreciate the ambiance and design. Food was also good? Just executed below my standards at the prices you’re paying.

Blanco Colima was a must-eat & was a perfect dinner spot! The food and drinks were delicious, service was wonderful and efficient, and the restaurant itself was really cool with upstairs and downstairs seating. There was a live DJ which added a nice ambiance and the music was vibey without being too loud. They started the meal with complementary artichokes and there was no wait between courses, everything was spaced out perfectly. Very reasonably priced for the quality of food in our opinions.

What an amazing experience! The food, the ambiance, the service — incredible. Armando was fantastic as well as Alfonso. The vibes were everything — the live DJ spinning tracks was right up my alley. I will definitely be back!

We were walking by Blanco Colima and were immediately drawn in by how beautiful it looked from the outside. On a whim we asked if we could eat there, and they welcomed us in and seated us right away. The food and drinks were delicious, but what really stood out was the hospitality. Truly one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve had. Special thank you to Armando and Alfonso for taking such great care of us and being so kind and welcoming. This was my first time in Mexico City and Blanco Colima is absolutely one of the reasons I will be coming back!

Having just landed in Mexico City, this beautiful restaurant was on our list and close to our hotel. We decided to see if they could accommodate us for a late lunch. The staff are fantastic and made some great recommendations. We started with some grilled artichokes, followed by orders of cudo and ceviche, served with corn tortilla chips and a few different salsas. I ate the entire salsa offering, even though it was as hot as Hades. We then ordered tacos, all of which were paired with a crisp, dry white wine. The property is beautiful, open, and airy, with a few small tables outside overlooking the sidewalk. There is also an interior bar with modern and original details. I cannot recommend this spot enough; it's a great addition to your food tour of CDMX.

Anyone that recommended this spot to me lied to me. This spot is going purely off of aesthetics the food is extremely mediocre. Beautiful presentation of the dishes, and very friendly waiters (though I did have to ask 4x for a new napkin until they brought me one), and really gorgeous interior. If you want to go somewhere for apps and drinks and really pretty pictures this is your spot. However, if you’re looking to come for exceptional quality food… this falls short. Every dish we ordered taste wise was meh. The dishes that did taste pretty good to me were the croquettes, the cold octopus appetizer, and the pork belly fried rice. Otherwise we all got a variety of dishes that just kept falling flat flavor wise. And the artichoke specifically was awful, boderline inedible from the texture alone.

I came here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon, and I absolutely loved the place! I had a cocktail and a main (salmon with mole) - everything was delicious, but it was the environment that I loved the most! I also appreciated the complimentary artichokes on arrival and the (also complimentary) dessert at the end! I would strongly recommend Blanco Colima and I’m looking forward to coming back next time I’m in Mexico City!
