Blank Street Coffee

A cool place in the corner of Lex & 47 for artisanal coffee ; the moment you entire - the coffee aroma lifts your spirit. It has cute sitting space - nice for street watching (though there's some maintenance work in progress currently).

Employees here were so nice(Kim & David) and I forgot to order an extra shot of matcha in my drink like I normally do and they fixed it for me for free which was so kind! This location has seating which is nice and when I went on a Saturday afternoon it wasn’t busy so I was able to sit and work.

We got the salted pistachio matcha and daydream oat milk latte, which tasted very similar to what an horchata latte would taste like. The salted pistachio matcha was very smooth and blended very well together.

The hype behind Blank Street Coffee is so real. Kim and David looked wiped, but still had a huge smile on their face serving us and asking all about our adventures in NY. We got the cookies & cream matcha and the rocky road latte, so good!!

Honestly, this place has ruined all other coffee shops for me. The coffee is always spot-on (seriously, how do they get it that good every time?), the service is so quick you’d think they read my mind, and they somehow remember my name and my order — even when I forget it myself. It’s like getting my daily dose of caffeine and a tiny ego boost. If you want good coffee and to feel like a local celebrity, this is your spot. ☕️

Praise and David are truly exceptional. Their consistency in delivering top-notch customer service is unmatched. They’re always warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive—even during the busiest rushes, they remember my order, which makes my wait time minimal. I also appreciate how they suggest new items for me to try whenever seasonal options are no longer available. Their dedication and personal touch make every visit a great experience.

I’ve been to 3 different Blank St locations and this one is by far the best one, it’s my daily coffee spot. From the way they make the coffee to the service. David is the sweetest and greets everyone with genuine happiness to see them, whether it’s new or returning customers! Everyone here is lovely :)

Great place to get non-big chain coffee in midtown. Pretty small shop primarily set up to for to go orders. The staff is friendly and fast. Coffee tastes really great, not over roasted. It gets very busy during the week from office workers, weekends are pretty dead. If you're looking for good coffee in the area this is it.

STARBUCKS WHO? LOVE the White Chocolate Raspberry winter drink, Sad that it is only a winter drink. Service was good, I enjoy waiting for a quality drink. Highly recommend purchasing a small Raspberry drink and not the large. The drink is perfect balance of sweet and tart, I hope this assessment is correct for the other shops that prepare this drink. Highly recommend!

Impressive flavor combinations for their drinks! Their Strawberries and Cream Latte, Grapefruit Cold Brew Spritz, White Chocolate and Raspberry Latte, and Mint Chip Matcha all sounded SO good. Honestly, all their options looked great, and I love that they have a rotating menu--there's always something new to try! I'm not even a coffee or matcha person, but I was so tempted by everything. I ended up ordering the Daydream Hot Matcha, which featured house-made vanilla bean, honey, and cinnamon syrup with oat milk and ceremonial matcha. I really enjoyed it! The notes of cinnamon throughout the drink were lovely, and cinnamon, honey, and matcha actually pair really well together. The matcha itself was a little bitter and earthy, but I suppose I just need to drink it more and develop a taste for it.

Last day in NY and I had to try Blank Street before I left. I'm bummed I didn't get to try #Melsmatcha but happy I got to try it in general. The guy was very patient with me as it was my first time. He recommended the blueberry matcha and it was good. I wish it was more blueberry though but still good. The almond croissant was also good. The restaurant was clean and relaxing, which I appreciate.

Stopped by Blank Street Coffee in the summer and was thrilled with their swift and friendly service. I ordered a cortado, which was had a good espresso-to-milk ratio, an iced tea. To pair with my coffee and iced tea, I grabbed a blueberry muffin from the grab-and-go section. The cafe itself was very minimalistic, ideal for either a quick coffee run or a few hours of work. They've got a good number of tables and the place is bright and airy, with a playlist that's a mix of indie and classic hits creating a laid-back atmosphere. Definitely one of my new favorite spots in town! The workers are really friendly and offered a free drink!!

I've watched this coffee shop open location after location and never really fazed me to go try their coffee until recently when my colleagues decided to try the coffee chain out. I got their Pistachio Latte and I am amazing at how good this tastes. Why hasn't any of the other coffee shops I've encountered made this? Well you got me curious how your other coffee drinks taste before I just default to Pistachio Lattes every time I stop by.

Delicious coffee! Highly recommend trying the banana bread latte. I asked for mine to be a little sweeter. The staff were super friendly. This spot is super cute!

Blank Street was a short walk from my hotel during my work trip and I swung by to grab a triple Americano and something other than a bagel for breakfast. The coffee was strong, not bitter, quite smooth and cut with a splash of cream. I then grabbed the vanilla overnight oats in the grab and go section. These were so delicious, filling, and sweet. The service was great, quick, and to the point. They have a few small tables, merchandise and beans for sale, a decent food menu that looks good, and a nice selection of coffee and tea drinks to choose from. I'd definitely go back.

Stopped by here today for my morning pick me up after waiting in line for Ess-a-Bagel across the street. They use ceremonial matcha which isn't presweetened (a win for me) and I loved my latte. Service was friendly and fast. I loved the vibe of this place, it's spacious, clean, and their music selection was excellent (throwback Drake ).

This coffee was ok but definitely not the best I've had. I ordered the cold brew latte with vanilla syrup and whole milk. For $8, I was expecting more. Granted it was a big drink but I felt that it was overly milky (could barely taste actual coffee). Considering it's a cold brew I expected the coffee flavor to come out more. Their pastries are also very average and cold. The almond croissant was quite doughy as opposed flaky and there was little almond filling. The service was fairly quick and the staff was friendly when ordering!

Interesting coffee flavors! We had a blueberry matcha latte where the blueberry shone through and sweetened the drink. There was also a watermelon matcha as well. In NYC Manhattan area, drinks are served quickly.

My sister has seen this coffee shop all over TikTok, so when we saw it across the street, we had to try it out. We both got the brown sugar, shaken coffee, and it was absolutely delicious. Definitely expect to be on a sugar high after drinking. I will say the service was super efficient and quick and we had our order in less than five minutes, the environment is clean and there is a lot seating but we ended up taking our drinks to go and walking around New York City.

I was visiting New York and happened to stumble upon this neighborhood coffee spot. It's got a nice, bright ambiance, a small seating area, and good cold brew and pastries (great pound cakes). I wish they had Wifi so I could bring my laptop and do work. Employees were friendly and made my coffee extremely fast. I'll be back next time I'm in town!

Was in the neighborhood for an appointment and saw this cute cafe. Lots of people walking in and getting coffee to go but seating area was empty so I decided to go in to wait until my appointment. Best decision I made today. It's a lovely spot to grab coffee and a pastry. Cafe is clean, quiet and feels spacious. This would be a great spot also to do work on your computer. Coffee was good although I wished it was hotter (temperature wise). The chocolate croissant I got was delicious. It was flaky, buttery and chocolatey. Perfect with the coffee. The cafe is also dog friendly as evident by the doggy treats by the counter. If I'm ever inn the neighborhood again definitely will make a point to stop by.

I liked the vibe of this coffee shop A LOT! I don't know what else to say other than I'd be back if I ever find myself back in New York City. I did have the pistachio latte and ordered it with regular milk. Excellent! It wasn't too sweet. I bought some beans to bring home. Glad i did. It came with a cup of brewed coffee. So I had a latte and a coffee. I was set for the day!

Tried their strawberry and cream latte- which was reasonably priced for NYC. It was very smooth and the perfect amount of strawberry cream. Will be back to try their fall flavors. The only downside to the cafe was the lack of outlets, otherwise it would be a cute place to study and get some work done.

Really cute coffee shop- now my new favorite! Again, drip coffee is literally $3. Win win win! I just wish it had a bathroom- but the cafe isnt large to begin with. Has a few tables.. more of a to-go place. Great location so centrally located in Midtown east near Grand Central

Surprised at how much I liked this. Very picky with my coffees but wow. I normally never order warm lattes because they're bitter but I got a black and white latte with oatmilk. So good. Daydream latte was amazing as well!! Highly recommend this place. It's a small area so no indoor seating but lovely to grab coffee and continue with your day!

Great coffees and matcha lattes. It's crowded in here since the footprint is on the smaller side. Quick and easy.

I ordered a cappuccino with regular milk. A commercial super-automatic machine produced my Expresso with milk wand(s) was separate. The coffee taste is a bit too bitter/burned, and I prefer a smooth Central American profile, which places like Gregory's serve. Value isn't that great. I've paid only 15-20c below Gregory's price. Service is good. The cup sleeves were missing and the cup was nearly burning my hands. I had to ask for It and got a blank paper cup instead. Bottom line - ok, but Gregory or Iriwing Coffee both nearby serve better cups.

Grear coffee and service. Ordered a katte and americano (decaf choice). Smooth ordering and drinking.

Gabriel's spirit makes the day much better! Never lets me down! I look forward every morning to good chats and good coffee :)

Worst service. Every-time. The older lady charges me then make me wait for all the online orders being prepared which is like 20 drinks

This place never misses! My favorite here is their oat milk vanilla latte or their oat chai latte. I don't usually like chai lattes because they are too heavy on the cardamom but this one is the perfect amount! 10/10 would recommend :) also, their breakfast tacos are sooooo good! Would definitely recommend visiting your local Blank Street Coffee, it does not disappoint!

Blank Street takeover! New location in midtown close to Grand Central, which is convenient. A little hidden to find but look for Cohen Optical next door and you'll see it!

I would recommend go to different location as the staff here is very rude to my friends and I last weekend. While I was checking the menu, the staff just staring at me and gave me the 'hurry up and order' angry look. The vibe is slow and nobody waiting in line. I don't get it what she is rushing for. I got my Macha latte and we quickly left as non of us wanna hang out there.

If your choice was this place or day old coffee from a cart...run to the cart! This place is beyond disgusting! Why I wasted my time and money is my fault and shame...hopefully someone will read this and learn from my terrible mistake! In addition to the swill coffee, the service sucked! If in NYC or beyond...AVOID Blank street coffee! You have been warned!

I just had the most delicious iced coffee! Strawberries and cream did not disappoint! This is by far my new favorite ice coffee flavor! Thanks for the awesome recommendation Blank Street Coffee!!

Pride myself in drinking the best lattes especially my homemade lattes. Never heard of or tried Blank Street Coffee until this morning. Ordered the spiced-honey latte. It was amazing!!! Will try to duplicate it at home. I look forward to returning. Staff were also friendly and seemed happy.

This coffee shop doesn't have wifi or restroom for use so it's not a great coffee shop to lounge around or do your work here in my opinion. However, their iced caramel latte was good and I liked the music they played inside it was a good vibe I'm just disappointed no wifi and restroom.

Excellent breakfast/brunch menu. Also have great sandwich choices, vegan options, coffee & tea options. Staff is very friendly and restaurant is clean.

Trust me, this is the real latte.Other stores only sell milk and water.Their milk bubbles are so dense.They are undoubtedly the best among a group of fast coffee shops.

This coffee shop is my favorite in New York City: all the different coffees and drinks are served remarkably well by very nice and friendly baristas, always offered to help you or address your concerns. I recommend the cold brew!

I had a small Cappuccino with oak milk. Sooo smooth and made to perfection. And the strawberry latte my husband ordered was refreshing!

a new coffee shop on lexington ave and 48th st thats small in space with its chic boutique style decor but they whip up good hot and cold coffee drinks especially the hot latte with a decent selection of sweets including the blueberry muffin which i enjoyed with my latte. good addition to an area that has seen many businesses go goodbye due to the covid nightmare .
