My boyfriend and I came here on our monthly date night away from the kids, it’s new in our area so worth checking out. Upon walking in the hostess was extremely polite and even allowed us to pick where we felt most comfortable sitting. Our waitress, Ashley, was very kind and attentive. She made suggestions for things to try and even when the place became packed, she didn’t forget about us. The food was so good, seasoned and cooked very well. We tried the lamb chops, steak, potatoes, & the soul rolls (they were my favorite part of dinner!) Hookah, which typically gives me a killer headache.. didn’t so two thumbs up! The drinks from the bar were also top tier. However the best part for me was when the manager (his name slips my mind) came and sat with us. He told us the history of the building and the vision for the restaurant. His presence alone would keep us coming here, very kind, personable, & genuine energy. I look forward to watching them grow!

For starters - make a reservation & make it at least a day in advance. Went on a Sunday for Brunch at 1:45 and were immediately seated even though the spot was packed. We ordered Pineapple Bottomless Mimosas (served per person not per table). For $25 it got me about 5 mimosas before I was done vs $9 a glass & it was strong! Great vibe for its location. There was an issue that day where they were down to 1 cook, so it did take almost 2 hrs before we ate. DJ played lots of old school R&B/Hip Hop. And the folks in there were LIT. Everyone was up dancing with one another & it was just nice to see. Ordered the Fried Okra, French Chicken and Shrimp & Grits = YUM. Will definitely go back to check out the night scene next!

Pleasant atmosphere. Casual dining. Plenty of seating from booths to individual tables. There is also a bar area. Appetizer Soul rolls were delicious. A must try is the Rasta Pasta with chicken. Perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of a spicy kick. The Nipsey Blue burger also delicious. Our servers were attentive and provided great service. My only criticism is that the drinks are watered down.

I enjoy this place so much! It has become a favorite to visit for ambience, food, drinks and service. I can appreciate the staff being so attentive and the atmosphere is by far very welcoming. Kiss the cook because the food is hands down delicious my favorites are the lamb, oxtails, soul rolls, collard greens, wings, chicken and waffles, cheese grits and Mac and cheese😋! For the drinks try the Flights, DiddyBop, Margaritas and on brunch days strawberry mimosas. Some times there’s a live band, songstress or Dj that are phenomenal. This is definitely a place to experience for yourself and you wouldn’t be disappointed!

I love the vibe of this place. It's so trendy and the ambiance is very laid back. They are open until 3am on weekends. They have weekend brunch and a dj. Our waitress and the GM Charles were so nice. My strawberry margarita was great. The oxtails were tender but had a vinegar taste that I didn't enjoy as much. The greens were good but a little on the salty side. The mac and cheese had a great taste but it was runny. They've been open for a few weeks so they may be getting the kitchen in order. I will definitely order the same meal again and hope that those little tweaks have been made.

First timers here!! Upon entrance this place was already lit with a light brunch crowd. Great atmosphere and staff was super friendly!!! I had some of the best catfish and grits I have ever had in my life!!! 5 stars well deserved

The service was great. We love that they honored our reservation early. The food was good but the drinks missed a little. My wife ordered the bottomless mimosas. Of course those were great. I ordered a Mojito but it was not a mojito at all. Do not recommend. The sangria was good however. We got the lamb and the chicken and waffles. Great vibes and great people.

This restaurant/lounge is a WHOLE Vibe!!!! Loved the decor, the staff, the chef (came yo the table with some razzle dazzle). Ordered the Parmesan Crusted chicken with Potatoes and Greens, the other meal was Wings with Fries, Mac-n-Cheese, and Greens.
