The attention was not entirely bad but could be improved in all aspects, even they tried to charge us for services included in the hotel stay. The rooms were more of the same, dirty and with poor air conditioning. The dining options were extremely limited and of low quality, just like the cocktails which, despite being the best of the hotel, barely offered 3 different cocktails which I find regrettable. In short, staying here is totally dispensable, I recommend looking for other options if you are looking to stay in Cuba.

I recently stayed at Blau Arenal Habana Beach, and overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable experience. The hotel is located just outside of Havana, offering a peaceful retreat with beautiful beach views and a more laid-back atmosphere than the bustling city.||||The rooms were clean and spacious, with comfortable beds and decent air conditioning. While not luxurious, they had everything I needed for a beach vacation. The housekeeping staff was friendly and did a great job of keeping things tidy.||||The beach itself is definitely the highlight—soft white sand, clear turquoise water, and plenty of lounge chairs. It never felt overcrowded, and I enjoyed peaceful morning walks along the shore. The pool area was also a nice spot to unwind, with a lively yet not overwhelming vibe.||||As for food, the buffet had a decent variety. Some meals were hit or miss, but I appreciated the fresh fruit, seafood options, and the local Cuban dishes.

This is a hidden gem. Recommended by a friend and his raves were well based. Excellent pool time with plenty of shade plus a five minute boardwalk across a mangrove creek and you are at a nice clean white sand beach. Only half an hour from Old Havana, this four star has one of Cuba's better buffets, a friendly, efficient staff and impeccible management.

The place is really nice, the employees (at the reception desk, the entertainers, the cooks and the servers, the guys at the beach) are super welcoming (without being too much like we can see in the service industry), and the shows at night were surprisingly good. The beach is perfect, and its nice to see local people enjoying too. And if you're wondering the wifi works well.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hidden Gem Just Outside Havana – A Perfect Cuba Getaway||||Our stay at Blau Arenal Habana Beach was nothing short of magical. Tucked away just outside the vibrant heart of Havana, this resort offers the ideal balance between peaceful beachfront relaxation and easy access to Havana culture and history.||||The setting is absolutely stunning—the resort sits right along a quiet, picturesque stretch of beach with soft white sand and warm turquoise water. It felt like our own private slice of paradise. The lush gardens and swaying palms throughout the property added a serene, tropical vibe that we instantly fell in love with.||||Service was exceptional from beginning to end. Every member of the staff greeted us with a smile and made a genuine effort to ensure we felt at home. From reception to the restaurant team to housekeeping, everyone was warm, helpful, and professional.||Outstanding Leadership and Excellence – A True Asset to the Hospitality Industry||Every aspect of my experience was outstanding, what truly stood out was the remarkable leadership of the Director General, Miguel Rosales||||From the moment I arrived, it was clear that the hotel runs like a well-oiled machine — a direct reflection of his visionary leadership and meticulous attention to detail. Under his guidance, every team member exuded professionalism, warmth, and a genuine commitment to guest satisfaction.||||What impressed me most was how he seamlessly blended operational excellence with a personal touch. Whether it was ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, anticipating guests' needs before they arose, or creating an atmosphere of calm, comfort, and class, Miguel Rosales led by example — with grace, precision, and purpose.||||It's rare to encounter a leader who not only sets high standards but also inspires an entire team to consistently exceed them. The result? A guest experience that is nothing short of exceptional.||||Kudos to Miguel Rosales for not just managing a hotel, but for curating an experience that guests will remember and return for. He is a true asset to the hospitality industry, and it shows in every corner of the property. Bravo!||||Our room was spacious, clean, and had a lovely terrace with garden gorgeous views was perfect for enjoying morning coffee or evening cocktails. The bed was super comfortable, and everything was well-maintained throughout our stay.||||We were especially impressed by the food and drink offerings. The buffet had plenty of variety and fresh options every day, with tasty Cuban dishes. The outdoor restaurant was a real treat, and the bartenders made excellent mojitos and Cuba Libre with a smile.||||We also loved the entertainment and activities—from live Cuban music in the evenings to daily pool games. And for those looking to explore, it’s just a short ride into Havana, making day trips to Old Havana easy and rewarding. The bus leaves at 10:30am and return at 5:30pm for US $10.||||If you’re looking for a peaceful, beautiful, and welcoming resort with authentic Cuban charm, Blau Arenal Habana Beach is the place to go. We left relaxed, refreshed, and already dreaming about our next visit. Truly a hidden gem!

You had really nice people working there and then you didn't. The food is quite poor and often not even hot...bring your own spices and condiments as there is only salt available, that's it. Good location because it is inexpensive to go and tour Havana for the day and access to the Atlantic Ocean is a path from the resort. The pool is very large and there is a 24hr. bar. The rooms are clean but have no insulation...you will hear EVERYTHING around you. Family-friendly.

Our stay at the Blau Arenal was really great. Most particularly, the barmen/maid, cooks, waitresses, entertainment staff, roommaid were super nice and helpful without being overbearing, the shows were professional and really fun. Beach staff was also really helpful and friendly, etc. One thing though, if you book a tour with an independent taxi and you’re not completely into touristy stuff, make sure it’s clear with the booking person at the hotel, and then make it clear again with the driver/guide.

Last minute get away. Good atmosphere, good rooms, okay food, some entertainment. Location is 30 minutes away from Havana with a daily bus for 10$ round trip. Beach 100 meters away. 24 hours bar. Try their fruit juices at the buffet.
