The staff here work hard to keep everything running smoothly, with quick check-in and check-out. The animation team entertained us with nightly shows, and the coffee corner served excellent coffee and pastries. Our room was cleaned and decorated daily, and the authentic decor with hanging plants was lovely. The beach was stunning—clear water, white sand—and the pool was spotless. The food had great variety, with fresh bread and pastries each morning, and the pasta bar chef was a highlight. The only drawback was the slow elevators, but overall, we had a fantastic time and would highly recommend this place. We’ll definitely return!

My wife and I are returning guests at the Blau Hotel in Varadero. The beach is amazing and the staff are amazing as well. They treat you like family. The service is excellent , even though we arrived late , the staff took us right to our room. Over the past year the food has been getting better. The gardens are all maintained and look wonderful. New Years Eve, was above expectation, Many events and parties. Remember this is Cuba and the supply chain is not like Canada. We had appetizers, imported cheese ,olives and cold cuts and prosciutto. Then to our surprise, steak and lobster with other specialty foods. For anyone who is interested in visiting Cuba for the first time or is interested in vacationing again to Cuba, I would highly recommend this resort without hesitation. The beach location is great and very calm. If you get the Select, you have access to an exclusive bar with good drinks working from 6pm to 11pm. Their attractions at night is kind of boring and for elderly people and the DJ at the Beach bar is terrible, he plays the same music every single day… Overall, the resort architecture is so beautiful, looks clean, and food is ok.

One of the nicest holidays in the sun! The Blau Varadero, for me, was perfect. The sun shone, the food was good, the entertainment fantastic and magnificent Varadero beach was sublime. the nightly live shows were West End worthy; such night calibre artists and dancers. There is a little for everyone here; lively activity at the pool and a little detached from the gregarious crowd s, some gorgeous little areas where you can be alone and quiet. The gardens are really beautiful, really immaculately kept and even with name tags the more interesting trees. For the late nighters; the 24hr bar by the beach keeps the dancers going til dawn. We loved it here.

Beautiful hotel right on crystal clear water/beach. Pool is huge but not deep about 4.5 ft and exceptionally clean. Although hotel is a bit older the room was very nice. Room have 110V option controlled by a switch so didn't need converter to charge phone. Staff are so welcoming and helpful. Varadero is a $5 US bus ride away on an open roof double decker bus. Enjoyed our week there immensely.

The hotel is excellent with friendly staff. Manager Karl is always around, ensuring everything runs smoothly. The animation team, including Yosi, Toni, Lazzaro, Meri, and others, kept us active and entertained. The live music during lunch and in the evening was fantastic. Our room was always clean, and the food for the Christmas dinners and Cuban lunch was amazing. The gardening staff works tirelessly to keep the garden pristine. We look forward to returning.
