Bled Castle Restaurant

Recommend to book ahead. If you book at the restaurant you have a free entrance to the castle. Amazing views on Bled lake. The service was really good (waiters very polite, attentive without being intrusive). The food was also great. We had a delicious carrot soup and a fish fillet. We shared a desert and a glass of wine each. It’s pricy for Slovenian standards but it’s worthy the price. Suggest to park in the parking down the hill (10 min walk) as the parking close to the castle is super expensive (3.5€ per hour)

Seriously some of the best food I have ever had. Also such a cool place to be able to eat a meal with tremendous views. If you’re ever in Bled you have to come here. The lamb, pumpkin soup, and bled cake were amazing. Such friendly staff as well and a great experience. Also if you have a reservation here you can get into the castle for free.

We went there during the “Teden restavracij” where the menu of 3 course meal + the welcome from the chef was 25€. In my opinion a really good price for the amount of quality food that is offered. I can recommend the restaurant especially during this promotion week!

much more than a pretty face! The views on the restaurant are breathtaking, but the food is amazing as well and they have a very long list of Slovenian wines. Truly worth it!

We stopped in the castle restaurant this week on a visit to lake bled. The restaurant itself is beautiful with spectacular views. The service was amazing and very attentive. I had the pear Tatar and the scallops which were both delicious dishes. I also had a very lovely glass of Slovenian sparkling wine which was very nice. The only downfall in my opinion is it’s a very nice restaurant but when I went there was lots of tours coming in for a meal which takes away from the experience when larger groups and coming in one after another. Other than that it was a great experience and would definitely go again if I was in town. You also get free admission to the castle with your reservation as well.

Really cool spot and amazing views. Food is ok, was a bit disappointed and probably wouldn’t go back but loved being able to enter the castle for free and the views so overall worth it

We booked our visit with dinner reservation together. They offer different options - 4 or 6 course in our visit. The service was extremely professional and very nice, spaced out - no rushing you to eat your dish. The castle itself provides really nice view to the lake and overall to Bled. Recommend to plan ahead and book it.

Amazing food with the great view of the lake. You should definitely check out this place if you visit Bled castle. I had a four course lunch. (They also have a la carte). I loved it from the start to the end. Specially the tartare was CHEF’S KISS!!!🤌The flavour is well balanced, even the pomegranate seeds were definitely necessary to complete this dish. I had no idea that tuna goes well with fermented milk (the foam). One thing if I have to say, the parsnip cream (2nd course), and the parsley root cream (3rd) tasted very similar, which I couldn’t finish because of that. But overall, the experience was wonderful. The service was great. He was very attentive and caring with a smile. The suggestion of wine was great too.
