Bled Rose Hotel

This hotel has a very unique ambiance. It is right next to the lake with an awesome view. The breakfast on our first day was delicious, second day was still good, but not the same for some reason. We did not like how the bathroom door doesn't really close. It's a sliding door, but there is no seal or anything whatsoever. It's just for show I guess? Also I could not set the AC lower than 24⁰ C (75 F). That is way too warm. Luckily, it was cool outside so we just slept with the window open.

I loved my stay at this hotel. It is upmarket, boutique style.|Excellent location on the edge of the lake. Beautiful setting.|The decor is fantastic - the bedrooms are beautifully decorated.|The restaurant is stylish.|There are so many photo opportunities all over the hotel. Instagram moments!|The breakfast buffet is amazing. The best I've seen in many a place in Europe in months.|The decor in the restaurant is gorgeous.||I love this property and will stay there again next time I'm at Lake Bled.

Set a little bit further back from the lake( still with a nice view of the lake from the lake view room). I mention the location beucae it is actually much better that it is a bit far back since the night we stayed there was a bon Jovi concert in the evening at the Christmas Market on the promenade but it wasn't too loud in our room since it was a bit away from all the action.|| This hotel is full of unique little touches that surprised us at every turn. There is a beautiful smell when you enter the hotel, which is instantly calming. The decor is unique and quite lovely. The room is very spacious and very clean. The best part was the service all staff were very friendly and attentive. The lovely receptionist even sorted out a charge for me since I forgot mine. That was a lifesaver. Breakfast was really good, lots of homemade items. The homemade butter and cottage cheese were exceptional. They even gave a party gift of a jar of jam at check out. We will definitely come again and we highly recommend it.

I feel cheated with payments from this hotel, and something I expect from hotels is that they are reliable when you are abroad. My taxi there from the airport at rush hour (booking.com) was €45, but the one hotel arranged for me back to the airport was €75. I contacted the taxi company and they charge €60 for one person so the hotel made €15 for calling the taxi! I didn’t know the price until after the taxi arrived unfortunately. Also, I was told that late checkout would be €10 but it was €20 on my bill. Often the restaurant was empty and it took a long time to get served, even though it was quiet and the waiter/ guest ratio was 1:1 at least and 1:5 at most. One day I got bread, the next I didn’t. One day I didn’t get a serviette, and I never got water. Quite minimum expectations for a restaurant which prides itself on ‘fine dining’ like food. I clearly went very off season- weekday in March. The hotel is clean with good amenities. The pro of being one of the only guests is I had the gym and pool to myself every time. The con is that I felt like I (a solo traveller) was a burden. The first receptionist didn’t give me any local information, but the receptionist on the second day gave a map and recommendations. The service depends on who you get. Lake Bled itself was lovely, and so is Slovenia. If the service was better I’d return.

What an excellent hotel. Great value for money, car park has plenty of spaces (didn’t struggle to find a space on Easter weekend). We did the private spa & thought it was brilliant. The staff who sorted this were ace. Had a standard room facing the lake, plenty of space. Breakfast- huge selection, can’t fault it. Two minor points: - One early morning the fire alarm went off multiple times (not a huge thing but was quite a shock as it kept faulting). - Second, next to the church so make sure you use ear plugs if you don’t want the early wake up! Would highly recommend this hotel, would absolutely stay again.

I was looking forward to staying here but this hotel didn’t wow me by any means. The best thing had to be the breakfast. If you’re staying longer than 2 nights parking is cheaper which was a great plus. And it’s super close to the lake which is convenient. However, there were a few negatives. Upon arrival the toilet in my room wouldn’t stop flushing. The girl at the front desk came up to fix it and said it’s a common issue. After some hesitation she agreed to switch me to another room which thankfully didn’t have the same issue. Staff otherwise were kind after the first night. Although the hotel smells lovely upon arrival, the bathrooms have a musky smell to them, putting the toilet seat down helps. My room also smelt like cigarettes the first night, assume it was someone on a balcony. There was a cigarette bud by the front desk as well, not great. Towels were also old and smelt weird. Lastly, I’s suggest waiting to book until the day of arrival if you can. I booked the day prior and prices were $15 less the next day. Not a huge difference but it adds up if you’re travelling around.

Our visit in the hotel was perfect. First, the website is by far the best, when you compare it to other premium Slovenian hotel websites, and the reservation was easy to make. Upon our arrival, the receptionist welcomed us and even the receptionist, who was busy doing something, walked up to us and greeted us and told us that we are welcome here and to enjoy our stay. When we were doing the check in, we were offered a very tasty drink and the receptionst was respectfully and we really felt welcome there. Upon entering the room we were surprised by how beautiful everything is. The room and its bathroom is the best l’ve ever been to, it looks and feels so premium! And such premiumness can be also visible in the rest of the hotel. The breakfast lounge is more than fantastic and the offer of foods is almost unlimited. The lobbies and the hotel entirely is very well decorated and it is very comfortable hanging around. The pool is also nice, and there is also a jacuzzi and a sauna, along with a VIP spa. Everything is worth a try because it is just relaxation to the max. Its perfect. The hotel location is very close to good cafes and restaurants, and most importantly, it is just by the lake. Upon our exit, we were asked how our stay was and the clreceptionist engaged in wonderful conversation and let us know we are really welcome here anytime, especially because we recieved a little gift from them before leaving. 11/10.

Was here for a weekend and had big expectations for this one. Hotel looks very nice, modern and luxury in photos. 1st impression was perfect. Fast check-in, beautiful lobby, and room that will blow your mind overlooking the garden/lake. After leaving our luggage in the room we went to the wellness area which has indoor pool saunas cold pool and outside terrace with Jacuzzi, all you really need if you ask me. Sleeping at this one is great you can really relax and re-charge. Next day breakfast was really nice and again wellness area did was a jackpot. Would recommend this hotel for sure and hope to be back at it.
