We recently stayed at Bless Hotel Ibiza as a family, booking three rooms and one suite. Throughout our stay, we consistently tipped generously and rented poolside cabanas every single day.
While the hotel itself has potential, we were disappointed by the overall guest service experience. Upon arrival, the reception staff were noticeably unfriendly and unwelcoming — not the kind of first impression you’d expect at a property positioned as premium.
There were also ongoing maintenance issues that were never properly addressed. My mother reported three times that the water in her shower was cold, and although she was told each time that it had been fixed, nothing changed. She ended up having to shower with cold water during the entire stay — completely unacceptable for a hotel in this price range.
The biggest letdown, however, came at the end of our stay. Our flight is scheduled for 6 PM, so we requested a late checkout. Initially, we were told it would cost €50 per hour per room starting at 12 PM. Then, without explanation, the rate was suddenly changed to €70 per hour. This feels like price gouging, especially considering how much we had already spent at the property.
We also want to mention that the supervisor, Valentina, handled the situation in a particularly rude and unprofessional manner, showing zero effort in guest relations or flexibility. For a hotel that benefits from high-spending guests, this level of service is simply not acceptable.
Sadly, we won’t be returning.
