Don’t let their simple store front fool you. One if not the best Blick store I’ve ever been to. Because their selection is huge, the store is clean, and they have great customer service! Savannah you are blessed to have this store in your back pocket.

✨ A True Gem in Savannah’s Art Scene 🎨 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had the most incredible experience at Blick Art Materials on Broughton while preparing for a watercolor class hosted by my apartment complex. Since I’ve also been gearing up to launch my own watercolor portrait series for Etsy, I was super excited to gather the right supplies. I came in with a list and a lot of enthusiasm… but also zero clue where to start! Enter Manda, an absolute angel who just knew I needed a little guidance. She kindly circled back to check on me, and I’m SO glad she did. Her warm smile and extensive knowledge made me feel instantly at ease. She gave me a full-on watercolor masterclass right there in the aisle—explaining the types of brushes best suited for portraits, the difference between synthetic and natural hairs, and even how brush length affects technique. Who knew short handles are better for control? She did! 😍 When it was time for her to clock out, she passed me on to Cesar, whose calm and caring energy made me feel like I was in expert hands. He’s basically the Watercolor Whisperer! Cesar broke down everything—from starter vs pro-level watercolor sets to the difference between cold-pressed and hot-pressed paper textures. Even when other customers waited nearby for his help, he made sure I was fully taken care of before moving on. That level of customer service is rare and deeply appreciated. And let me not forget Chaylei, the radiant cashier with the cutest nose ring and a great sense of humor. Her energy was so fun and light, and she had me cracking up at the register when she found out Cesar’s watercolor wizardry. The whole checkout experience felt more like chatting with friends than just making a purchase. The store itself is bright, well-stocked, and gives off a cozy, artist-hangout vibe. You can tell that everyone who works here is passionate about their craft and genuinely cares about helping people explore their creativity. 💛 If you’re in Savannah—whether you’re a SCAD student, an amateur artist, or just curious—this is the only place you need to go. Manda, Cesar, and Chaylei turned what could’ve been an overwhelming trip into a beautiful, inspiring one. I’ll absolutely be back… again and again!

They didn't have what I needed in stock, but it was no fault of theirs! The employee that helped me, I cannot remember their name for the life of me, but they had platinum blonde, sort of curly hair in a shag cut. They stood with me and helped me look through the options, didn't seem bothered at all. Great place with great staff.

Great spot! Stickers, frames, pens, paint, frail section, tons of knickknacks in little tables. Kid friendly. All kinds of spray paint and craft ideas. Love it here. Will be back!

We visited on new year's day. My sassy kid was so excited by all of the supplies. It was very organized, well lit, good prices and honestly a painter's dream as far as varity. 2 out of 3 employees I spoke with were super nice and helpful. The third just seemed tired and busy but not rude. I will go back when I'm in need of art supplies and would suggest this place to other painters.

Incredible selection and most everyone is kind and helpful. It's even better when you hit the sales! I have both purchased online and instore, but really enjoy going to their brick and mortar to peruse the store and all the amazing products they have.

2025-08: It was nice to finally get the chance to come here in person. Great selections on all things, as everyone knows already. The few employees we encountered were pleasant and helpful. Can be pricey, but sales are nice. Store > website. 😊

Amazing! Haven't been in a legit art supply store in years. We could've gotten lost in this store for hours. Super nice staff. Loved it!
