Amazing spot for brunch! The potato pancakes were absolutely perfect—crispy outside, soft inside, and full of flavor. They’re my favorite brunch dish and these were the best I’ve had. The simple pleasure crepe was just that—simple, light, and delicious. Smooth lattes and really friendly, attentive service made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend stopping by for breakfast! The meals are just what you need to fuel your day — great energy and just the right amount of calories. We were lucky to get a table after about 10 minutes of waiting, but next time I’d definitely book ahead. The sweet blin had just the right touch of sweetness, and the vegan one was perfectly balanced. The coffee was excellent too — honestly, what more could you ask for to kick off the day? Plus, the people running the place are super polite and friendly, which made the experience even better.

One of our FAVORITE places we tried while in Amsterdam :) it was so delicious, both for savory and sweet options. The entire menu can be made gluten free (buckwheat flour), and there’s plenty of vegetarian options. HIGHLY recommend the cottage cheese pancakes with Greek yogurt and berries. It’s almost the texture of cheese cake and not too sweet. It’s naturally gluten free, no flour whatsoever, only cottage cheese.

This is a lovely spot with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The menu offers a great selection of traditional dishes, and the quality truly stands out. We had pancakes with red caviar and traditional oladki - everything was absolutely delicious! Despite the long wait for a table, it was well worth it. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Highly recommend this place for brunch

A lovely Sunday morning discovery at Blin Queen 🥞☕️ If you're like me and enjoy a proper breakfast, you might sometimes be worried when plates look a bit too “delicate.” No worries here — it was surprisingly filling! I didn’t need to eat again for hours. Blin Queen is an all-day spot that blends Eastern European traditions with Western European flavors. During the day, it’s all about sweet & savory pancakes, artisan ciders, and specialty coffee. After 6pm, it turns into a cozy wine bar with a small dinner menu. Bonus points: very kid and pet friendly. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Amsterdam!

Just landed in Amsterdam and felt hungry. Nothing beats some wholesome Dutch pancakes. This one is in the neighbourhood and off we went. Not a huge selection but they are surprisingly good. Apart from the savoury ones, we can’t miss the sweet ones too. Cottage cheese pancake is my fav. A cosy place to spend the evening.

A comforting breakfast spot with hands down the best rosti I’ve ever had. The potatoes were perfectly crisp outside, soft inside, with a simple salt-and-pepper seasoning that enhanced their natural flavor. The pancakes were fluffy and bouncy, topped with just the right amount of sweetness. Soups were thick and creamy, substantial enough to be a main dish for light eaters. The menu is extensive, offering a great mix of sweet and savory options, alongside drinks ranging from fresh juices to boozy morning cocktails. Despite the many pancakes sizzling in the kitchen, ventilation was decent. Limited seating, so arrive early!

As an Eastern European I wanted to like this place, but I couldn’t, mainly because of the service. I’ve seen somebody having a very similar experience, but essentially: I arrived before a friend and ordered a coffee while I was waiting. The coffee didn’t arrive for 20min (when my friend has already joined) and it wasn’t what I ordered, which is ok, they immediately offered to fix it. I would expect my coffee to be prioritised, yet it wasn’t for another 15-20min before I finally got it. Unless they were freshly roasting the coffee beans downstairs, I can’t wrap the 40min wait for a coffee around my head. You’d think that we probably made a food order somewhere between my friend arriving, or the wrong coffee brought to our table, however we had to chase the waiters because they were too busy polishing cutlery or whatever they were doing at the station, instead of keeping an eye on the tables. Another unpleasant surprise happened when my friend wanted to order some of the fresh tea to go. She asked if it was available, receive a confirmation and paid for it straight away to only find out 5min later that it’s actually not in stock. The cherry on top was that they refunded her with a lot of small coins. Again, not a massive issue, but definitely adds up with the rest to an unpleasant experience. Generally, I would say, it is a nice place, if you are lucky to get served quickly. However, it seems a bit too chaotic and amateur for now. P.S. an ugly picture of their cups - but they are so so beautiful!
