My husband and I stayed here a couple months ago and we LOVED it!!! Amazing hospitality, super cute historical atmosphere , very clean and well kept, and breakfast was amazing!! I’m gluten free and they accommodated me and had lots of options I could eat!! We also decided to add an extra night and they were able to help us with that!! We stayed in the Emma room and it was so lovely and had some fun drink options in the fridge, very comfy bed, and amenities in the bathroom! The turkeys and chickens were fun to go look at too! If we ever make it back to Maine we will definitely stay there again!!! The grounds were super pretty too, very green and beautiful with pretty flowers and a darling yellow exterior on the inn!!

Bliss Farm Inn was the most relaxing and peaceful place we’ve visited in a long time. Our room was spotless, breakfast was amazing, and the grounds were stunning. All of these things don’t compare to the owners’ dog, Cali, who was an absolute angel. She will greet you with a big smile (yes, she actually shows her teeth). I still miss her! We can’t wait to go back.

This was our 7th and 8th stay at Bliss Farm Inn and we have two more nights booked later this year. We love this place!!! Dave and Mary always make us feel so welcome, the rooms are wonderful and the breakfasts are amazing! Historical aspects are all around the house. This place is truly a treasure!

Such sweet owners! Great food and a great price! We would definitely return if we find ourselves back in the area. Also, the owner’s dog, Callie, was the sweetest! Couldn’t recommend it enough!

I simply cannot say enough good things about Bliss Farm Inn. Every possible detail was anticipated and addressed with the utmost care and quality. The bed was incredibly comfy and I highly recommend adding on a charcuterie board - it was easily enough for 3-4 people!

This place is an absolute gem! 10/10 would recommend. Breakfast everyday was absolutely phenomenal and the owners are incredibly kind. Getting to play with their dog, Callie was such an unexpected surprise and I loved it. This place is so homey and has gorgeous views of the leaves changing. If my husband and I didn’t live across the country we would be back every year. About 10 minutes to fun things like apple picking and Durham city center with shopping and restaurants. Definitely stay here!

Transport yourself away from the hustle and bustle and escape to a beautiful Maine farm at the Bliss Farm Inn! Breakfasts are ample and do not disappoint, with lots of options to choose from. Snacks and refreshments are offered throughout the day, which provide extra sustenance for a long day of shopping, hiking, or sight seeing. Beds are very comfortable with plenty of pillows and quality linens. Water is hot and towels are thick and soft. A/C in room with cooling or fan options, however the windows open and close if you prefer a cool evening breeze and chirping crickets. All spaces of the Inn are incredibly clean and well cared for including common spaces and hallways, and our room was no exception. Historical details like the wide plank floors, exposed wood beams, and light-filled windows made you feel wistful for simpler times and the quality craftsmanship of old houses. The innkeepers are very knowledgeable and kind, and their love of the property is reflected in their work. The family farm dog Callie was a delight. I especially enjoyed her company whenever I walked the grounds or sat outside to take in the scenery. Bliss Farm Inn is a hidden gem, and I cannot wait to return.

Yelp
Beautiful inn with the most wonderful owners! This is such a magical space, and I'm at a loss for words to describe it but will try to do the best I can. Upon entering you're welcomed by a serene setting, a joyous pup, and the warmest of hosts, Mary and Dave, along with some afternoon wine and tea, treats, sherry, and a relaxing nook with a delightful set of books. It was such a treat to relax in the afternoon under the lazy sunlight with a cup of tea. I particularly enjoyed the book of poems written by the prior resident of this place, and the farm to table cookbook. Our room was beautifully rustic yet modern with conveniences. The bed was comfortable, the shower with good temperature and pressure, the AC was much appreciated on this hot day, good speed on wifi (not that you should work on vacay, but if you were ever so inclined to as I'm always scoping out spaces to do so... the dining room is a great place to sit and work with a nice cup of Joe) and the space was comfortable and very clean. The stylish fridge full of drinks in each room was such a nice touch. And love the scent of the goat milk soap the provide. We took a stroll outside and the setting around the house was simply beautiful and serene. Upon retiring in the evening, there were delicious cookies set out along with tea and coffee. While I'm celiac, the hubs shared that the cookies were very tasty! I had called earlier to ask about breakfast options for gluten-free celiacs, and was informed by Mary that there was a section on the reservation for dietary requests. This turned out to be an amazingly delicious breakfast frittata with a giant bowl of fresh fruits and some lovely tea when we got up in the morning, along with such a fun (and very educational, I now regard chickens as little dinos) tour of the chicken and Turkey coup. It was such a wonderful stay, and we absolutely look forward to coming back again in the fall/winter for another weekend getaway!

Yelp
I recently attended a local dinner offering at Bliss Farm and, in addition to a superb dinner, found the delightful hosts of Bliss Farm have created a clean and cozy environment with well decorated and furnished rooms with all of the accessories anyone could want, including nice fluffy robes. I definitely recommend to those who are staying in the area!

Yelp
This was an amazing experience! The Bliss Farm inn has been lovingly and thoughtfully restored by the new owners (Mary and Dave) and is a beautiful mix of old and new. The common spaces are warm and inviting, the guest rooms are very comfortable and well appointed. The bedding was gorgeous. Our stay here was just what we needed. The Inn is close enough to Freeport to enjoy the hustle and bustle when wanted, but just far enough away to feel like we were on a retreat back at the Inn. The breakfast was delicious! So much to choose from. Beverages, coffee, snacks were available all day including freshly baked chocolate chip banana bread and chocolate chip cookies and more... This Inn has a very homey feel, but without sacrificing privacy. Mary and Dave were just wonderful. We will be returning for sure!!

Yelp
We absolutely loved our stay here. This quaint farmhouse bed and breakfast has so much to offer. We had a great time exploring the property using the wooded trail, checking on the chickens and turkey, and playing with their family dog in pasture out back. The host was very kind and accommodating to our dietary needs. Our two nights here was the highlight of the trip.

Yelp
What an amazing place to stay! I've never felt more welcomed or been fed better! Mary was an extremely gracious host and her house was simply stunning! I highly recommend a visit if you are anywhere near New England!!!!!

Yelp
An absolutely beautiful place to stay! I can't put into words how welcoming and attentive Mary and Dave are! The Inn is lovely and charming with great history in every room and beautifully designed suites. There are snacks and drinks available 24/7 and the breakfasts are OUT OF THIS WORLD! We will certainly be back!

Yelp
The Bliss Farm Inn went above and beyond my expectations. It was the most well-stocked, clean, and beautiful B&Bs I have ever stayed. Mary and her family were accommodating, friendly, and went out of their way to make sure our stay was nothing short of excellent. The small extra touches helped me celebrate our engagement perfectly. I would and will recommend anyone visiting the area to stay at Bliss Farm Inn. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
