20 Exceptional Restaurants in Bend, Oregon

"Aptly named, the gluten-free cakes and pastries are blissful at this Newport Avenue restaurant open for breakfast and lunch. Kamal Bekkari brings flavors from his Moroccan roots and French influences in items from harissa-forward shakshuka, light-as-air waffles, and jambon au beurre. In the evenings, venture to the side of the restaurant for the door to Cellar 65, the restaurant’s basement speakeasy. Also owned by Kamal and wife Miki, offerings include braised saffron chicken tagine, which is juicy and tender and served in the traditional namesake pot. Kamal’s version of bastilla, a typical dish in the Mahgreb, wraps egg and chicken in a flaky phyllo dough burrito with a light dusting of cinnamon and sugar. Finish the meal with pavlova, a crispy meringue encasing a light lemon curd with a generous serving of berries on top." - Barb Gonzalez, Jeffrey Stull

Papillon review. Love this place for dinner. It is inside blissful spoon in the evenings. Moroccan food. So delicious. We had the chlada khamsa (5 salads) tanjia marrakesh (slow cooked tri tip) chicken bastilla and it was all so lovely. The olives marinated in tangerine are incredibly flavoral. The service is fantastic, friendly atmosphere and great for a date night. It is a breath of fresh air to have Moroccan food in town. Bonus, they can accommodate gluten free here as well!

My Espresso Martini was great. I also ordered the Avo Toast and was mostly very pleased. My meal was solid. The poached egg was perfect and the salad was nice and fresh. I loved the addition of sliced pickled onions. The only slightly disappointing part of my meal was the avocado mash. The texture and taste seemed processed rather than being a freshly mashed avocado. That’s on me though. I should’ve asked about it because I’m picky about avocado ton toast.

Google
This is a great brunch spot for someone with celiac/gluten free diet. Their waffles are gluten free and super tasty and their pastry display case was entirely gluten free. Would definitely go again!

This is an absolute gem in Bend, OR. You feel the love in each of the dishes prepared by the Moroccan Chef. The 5 salad sampler and the spiced prawns were pure decadence. We then topped it off with sticky date cake and homemade butterscotch sauce, absolute magic. The whole ambiance and beautiful paintings made you want to stay awhile. 10/10! We will be back.

We were blown away by the flavors and quality of ingredients at this restaurant! I don’t think the name does it justice, because it is authentic Moroccan food. We ordered the Moroccan Stew, puttanesca lamb, and this duck pastry burrito thing - and they were all absolutely perfect! And explosion of flavor with presentation you’d expect in a five star restaurant. Now… I’m not one of those people that starts taking pictures of food before I eat it, but I am somebody who takes pictures of the empty plates after I’m done!

Was more uppity than expected. We were passing through town and the reviews and food pictures looked good. First question when we walked in on a Sunday morning was if we had a reservation. Didn't realize we were at a place where reservations were required or suggested. They then seated 5 of us at two 2 person tables put together in the hallway, which we were not going to fit at. I asked if we could use an additional 2 person table open right next to us. They did allow it, but it was silly for them to try and squish us into the 2 tiny tables. Food tasted good, which is why I'm giving them 3 stars. I ordered a Chai Latte, which they served spiced. I only drank half of it cause it was too spiced for my liking and would have chosen something else if I'd known it was going to be spiced. Since we were in the hallway by the bathroom we had a unique view of a tall plant that they had next to their front counter. After seating some people by their front window every person that walked by that plant had to duck underneath it to go to the bathroom and the employees had to duck to get around the counter to the kitchen. To top it off they added a 20% gratuity to the bill since we were a party of 5. This place is more interested in how the food on the plate and atmosphere look than taking care of their customers.

Google
We had the most delicious meal here. The spices on the chickpeas made it so flavorful and they were perfectly cooked. The churro waffles are so yummy, if you want something sweet, and they have a lovely texture. The burrata has an oil poured on top that gives it a citrus taste and it was excellent. The only downside to this restaurant is that they sometimes run out of dishes if you come later in the day.

The breakfast I enjoyed here this morning was like a breath of fresh air! First of all, I didn't expect table service, so that was nice in a time where so often we order at the counter and are expected to tip before our food order is called up. I got the French Benedict, and it was by far one of, if not, the best breakfast meals I've had here in Bend. The puff pastry was light and delicate, beautiful. The asparagus and poached egg cooked perfectly. And the sauce was nuanced and not heavy, unlike a typical hollandaise sauce. The portion of ham was a generous size as well. The ambience and music was bright and cherry as well. Service was great. Eating out is expensive these days and I'm more selective about where my money goes. This place was worth every penny and I will definitely be back to try other dishes. Thank you!

Yelp
I will struggle to find parking downtown just so I can get their baked goods. Amazing cookies - they make these delightful almond and chocolate crinkle cookies that are super flavorful. I've also had their other pastry items and they are excellent as well. When weather is good they will usually show up at the local farmers markets in town.

Yelp
Looking for a new spot we settled on blissful spoon. It wasn't busy on a Sunday morning and we sat right away. At first, the service was fast and friendly but we were quickly forgotten about. No water refills and we had to hunt down a missed item from 2 different employees. My waffle was delicious but my wife's Benedict was just so so. The dining area was very nice, cozy, and clean but I just don't see any reason to come back.

Yelp
Great food and kind, generous service. I went for my birthday brunch and loved the food. I highly recommend this place for great flavor and attention to detail with the food. You can tell the kitchen staff and the chef really care about what they are serving. The location is great and the service was fantastic.

Yelp
Not your typical breakfast fare, and we were happy for that. Impressive menu and very attentive team nice vibe.

Yelp
I want to love this place because their food is great but 2x now, we've had awful service during brunch. Waited for over 30 minutes for our food when it isn't even packed and our toddler is hungry/getting upset. We can't figure out why it's so inefficient, but do not come here in a hurry!

Yelp
Came by this shop during our quick trip to Bend. It was delicious! I came in for the pastries, and ended up grabbing some lunch here since they had some awesome looking items. The smoked salmon Benedict and the chachuka were both amazing. As for the desserts, I really enjoyed the canales. They are so good and I should have gotten a whole tray of them. The other items were also good, but the standout is the canales. Service was best, and it's very dog friendly with a great outdoor seating area.

Yelp
I have been wanting to check-out Blissful Spoon, but every time I think of doing so it is a Monday, and they are closed. Easter Sunday I attended an early church service and then decided to go for breakfast. A friend suggested Blissful Spoon! So off I went and arrived around 9:45, before they got busy. A lovely atmosphere, very cozy & clean with fresh flowers on the tables. My main server was Mark, but there were many hands-on attentive servers working for the good of all ... including the lovely owner Miki, whose husband is the chef. Mark was awesome from the minute I walked in; very friendly, attentive, accommodating. I ordered the appropriately named "Blissful Morning Sandwich" ... as it was for me a day of celebration. Mark accommodated my request for gluten free bread and extra arugula! The presentation, freshness, flavors were all excellent. I did choose to eat my sandwich open face with a fork & knife, savoring every bite ... along with a glass of very smooth Prosecco. The Blissful Morning sandwich consists of abundant, tender prosciutto, flavorful manchego cheese, a sunny side egg, fresh arugula, roasted red pepper aioli. All wonderfully complimenting each other. The homemade gluten free bread was delicious! Next time I will request more of the roasted red pepper aioli, as it was a bit scant, so that I couldn't truly appreciate how tasty I'm sure it is. As I was leaving I decided to peruse the scrumptious looking pastries in the bakery case, and to my absolute joy learned that everything (!) is gluten free! Oh my! I am a foodie who loves to cook healthy, with a background of restaurants, catering, culinary school; who loves to go out for coffee with my friends. What has been missing is a place where you can find a selection -if anything at all- of gluten free items. There were several customers who came in just to buy pastries to-go, and you can also buy their gluten free bread. Do call ahead for bread days. So, I am delighted to have found Blissful Spoon for this reason and more, and look forward to returning soon. Keep up the good work: delicious food and happy faces

Yelp
The two stars are because the food was tasty. But don't come here for dinner for one of their set course meals. They should rename this place the "slow spoon" or "delayed gratification cafe" or "minimalist eater" because we waited forever and the potion sizes were so disappointingly tiny. We waited 45 minutes to get our first appetizer, a micro sized mushroom dish shared between two - which brings up another problem: we bought two tickets at $60 each, but we only get one small appetizer to share?! After that we waited another 30 minutes for the salad, again to share. At this point we were running out of time and the main dish was no where in sight. My husband had to ask the host if we could get our main dish asap and the dessert to go. Again, the main dish was very small. We wasted so much time waiting for such little food. Lesson learned, will not be returning.

Yelp
Absolute mind blowingly delicious food. As a family, we ordered the tajine, bastillla and the zigne berbere. All of it was incredibly flavorful, some of the best Moroccan flavors I've ever had. Mimosa was also well balanced with fresh orange juice. I would come back here again a few times to try out more of the menu!

Yelp
Very good food. We had the bacon and egg tartlet and farmhouse waffles. Friends at the same table, ordered two orders of the the berry waffles. Both meals were very good. Service was not the best. Two meals were delivered to the table and the other two meals arrived 15 minutes later, after we inquired where the food was.

Yelp
Blissful Spoons holds a special spot in my heart! Their gluten-free treats are among the best we've ever had. We discovered them at the Wednesday Farmers Market in Bend and I'm so happy we did. They focus on using fresh, local, high quality ingredients and you can really taste the difference in their pastries. The Peach Crumble and Canele were both outstanding and the perfect balance of sweetness. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Wonderful food and friendly service. Lived up to the Yelp review hype. The French Benedict is absolutely amazing.

Yelp
Cute coffee and pastry shop. Small lunch menu. It was a cold and blustery day so I ordered the French Onion soup - it comes without any cheese - but it was still very tasty. I also ordered a side of sausage - which looked more like a polish sausage link. My sister ordered the grilled cheese sandwich which she loved.

Yelp
I've been gfaf for two years now and haven't found anything decent to eat. Cake and any pastries are my drugs of choice. We decided to give this place a try after reading other reviews. You guys......This might be the best breakfast I've had. When our server said that EVERYTHING on the menu has a GF substitution I almost cried. Then she said that all of their waffles are GF anyway!!! Happy dance!! I got the French Connection waffle, husbabe got the burrata toast. Amazing service, amazing food. We're going back with a bunch of friends tomorrow. Oh, all the pastries in the case are GF too! ALL OF THEM. Our new fav place when we visit Bend
google avatar

Kyla C.

Yelp
High quality food with attention to detail and gluten sensitivities. We ordered the Open Omelette and Farmhouse Waffle. The Open Omelette was a variety of flavors and hands down one of the best omelette I've ever had. Staff was very friendly and attentive. You can expect a wait time once you have sat down and ordered, as the food is all made to order in their scratch kitchen. Worth the wait.

Yelp
I went to Blissful Spoon for a cup of tea and a little tea treat. Bad idea! The tea was served in a coffee mug with a strainer inside the cup containing enough tea leaves for two large pots. The liquid was lukewarm and undrinkable. When I asked the waitress why the tea was lukewarm and to strong she shrugged and didn't know. She express no remorse at serving me an undrinkable cup of tea. The bite of lemon mini loaf tea treat stuck to the roof of my mouth. The texture was disgusting and it had almost no flavor...so it was uneatable. I paid anyway and told the cashier the tea was undrinkable and the food was uneatable. She said, "Sorry you didn't like it" and that was that. I will never go again.

Yelp
This place is fairly new in bend (at least since the previous visit), and I'd highly recommend! Food and pastries were amazing, service was also complimentary to the food. The ambiance/vibe is similar to a French bistro/bakery. Don't miss this gem the next time you're in bend.

Yelp
Amazing food and service! We had an amazing Sunday brunch at the blissful spoon and we're delighted with great service from our very tall waiter Mark. Creative food with a French Morrocan flare. Highly recommend !

Yelp
Absolutely spectacular! We headed to Blissful Spoon for NYE brunch with the kiddos. This was a first time, and I knew from the moment we walked in the door it was going to be at very least a good dining experience. The space is airy, clean, warm, welcoming with beautiful murals, and artistic touches throughout. The staff was warm and welcoming. The server who greeted us at the door seemed apologetic that it would be a 15 minute wait for a table, which is really nothing at all. The Drinks: the espresso is some of the best I've ever had in a restaurant, or really coffee shop for that matter. Being a holiday weekend brunch I decided to have a hibiscus Mimosa as well. The sparkling wine used was the perfect amount of dry, with real hibiscus syrup infused and a vibrant deep red hibiscus flower in my glass. This made cocktail as gorgeous as it was delicious. The Food: Everything looks so delicious at Blissful Spoon, so ordered a lot, of course. We started with a churro French toast with Belgian chocolate dip. The churro French toast is crisp and light on the outside while being luxuriously decadent on the inside. The Belgian chocolate dip Devine. My husband ordered the Farmers Waffle, and the waffle was perfection as well as the egg on top, and the greens. I had the CHAKCHOUKA and added the Marquez Lamb. My dish was savory, rich, and uniquely amazing. The kids had the Cinnamon French toast, and we took home 5 pastries, all perfection even into the next day. I don't typically do bleached/white flour baked items, so I was ecstatic when told all the pastries are gluten free. The kids and my husband couldn't tell, other than noticing that the pastries were softer and moist compared to most in the best of ways. An important note is that all dishes are made fresh. It's not a quick dine restaurant. At the same time, it's not at all slow service. Be prepared to sit back, relax, and enjoy the experience.

Yelp
Gracious spirit permeates this light, bright and welcoming space thanks to the kind people who own this 'mom n' pop' enterprise and also the friendly people who work here. That the food is interesting and delicious makes this breakfast and lunch spot on the cusp of downtown Bend on Newport Avenue just about perfect. On our first visit at early afternoon, more story to come about that, noting the menu for breakfast and lunch contained several things that had North African influences (Merguez with du puy lentils and shakshuka - both $14 - as examples) I asked if someone in ownership was from North Africa. A woman who had a lovely Australian accent (the owner I think and that explains the Big Brekkie - $18 - dish on menu ;-) ) said the Chef spent time in Morocco. Lovely. But worry not if you are among the more standard fare eaters as they have items to tickle your taste buds too like house baked goodies (all GF), French toast, seasonal salads and French onion soup in prices ranging from roughly $5 - $18. Whatever it is that you may choose to order here, the "special sauce" is hospitality. Unlike the abundance of "YO DUDE" places in Bend, this is more "g'day mate" lovely with tables spaced to provide comfort, lots of windows and high ceilings and music at just right levels to know it there but not compete with conversation. My husband and I lived in Bend for nearly 20 years until escaping the winter snow and 4+Million (true number) annual tourist hordes, umm...visitors (sorry if this includes you, dear reader) and Blissful Spoon didn't open until after we moved. Alas. Otherwise we would have been regulars. But we still visit Bend often and this will be destination for at least one "aahhh...some" experience during each visit. A THANK YOU NOTE: Which leads to the story about our first Blissful Spoon visit I said I'd come back to. I guess my comments about this are as much thank you note to Blissful Spoon as review. My mom lived in Bend, my dad still does, and she died last summer after a grueling few months of illness and in the last six weeks of her life my husband were live in caregivers during her suffering. By the time she died I had not really been out of the house for more than five weeks and with other family woes including mentally ill family visitors, I was exhausted and emotionally fragile. A couple of days after mom's passing my husband and I played hooky from other family care responsibilities and went out for a couple of hour excursion that included a lovely meal at Blissful Spoon from which we departed feeling nourished in body and refreshed in spirit. Maybe it was that the person behind the counter when we walked in and who delivered the sandwich to share, soup, two desserts and tea could tell I wasn't tightly wrapped emotionally on that day or maybe they are this gracious to everyone always. But on that day it made all the difference to me. MENU & EATS: My understanding is all in house bakery items are gluten free. (I bought cookies to take home and they were great even for we who are not celiac and for those in the family who are.) Selections on modest sized but thoughtfully created menu include standard American, Australian, North African, French and Spanish options for omnivores, vegetarians and vegans. (If the latter, ask about some options available to adjust some menu items but not listed on it.) If your lane is huge servings in quantity over quality then this will likely not be your fit. If you're looking for quality focus, creative food and pride in ownership, you'll be home here. Soft beverages, coffee drinks, tea and I think wine and beer too. HOURS: Wed - Sun / 9a - 2:30 p. They were doing dinner and happy hour timeframe small plates on certain days for a time last year but have suspended that for now I think. ACCESSIBILITY: Level in the door and all on one level inside, ample floor space for a wheelchair user to navigate to several standard height tables it seemed to me. (I have had MS since college days so I pay attention.) One ADA parking space in the Newport entry lot near the side door of this building has ramp up access to the door. (Although each time I've been by the same car is parked in that spot so...) PARKING: A stumbling block all over the downtown Bend area but there is a very small parking lot associated with this building and shared with the building where Sen is located at the other end of the lot.

Yelp
Loved everything about this place. Food was delicious. Very good coffee & espresso. Very clean. Service was great - attentive but not intrusive. Nice, relaxing atmosphere. Even enjoyed the background music. My friend had the Cinnamon French Toast with Blueberry Compote. They were very accommodating with her special requests. She said it was one of the very best French Toast breakfasts she's ever had - that's saying quite a lot coming from her. The bread was delicious - definitely made the meal. The compote was heavenly. The side of fruit was fresh. The latte was perfect. I had the Blissful Morning Sandwich and an espresso. Both excellent. The pastries at the counter all looked delicious. We bought some cookies and granola to go, but haven't tried them yet. We will definitely be back to try more menu items, but these two meals will be hard to beat as favorites.

Rebecca G.

Yelp
Lovely little spot! We had the Moroccan chicken tagine and Eritrean beef stew - both were excellent! Also the black/white cookie OMG too good to be legal!
google avatar

Stacey N.

Yelp
Ughh you wouldn't even know it's GF. I love the dense texture of these cakes. Such a treat when in Bend!

Konrad M.

Yelp
I went here a little while back with a friend when we were on vacation. The smoke salmon benny was the best benny I've ever had. They didn't skimp on the smoked salmon and the pastries that came with the benny were perfectly cooked. Compliments to the chef's in the back, they likely dont get the credit that they deserve. This dish might be a bit much for people that don't prefer super fatty foods , but it was perfect for me.

Yelp
Open, spacious downtown breakfast cafe. Casual, friendly service, windows into the kitchen. I almost devoured my French toast before snapping a picture. Best. French. Toast. Ever! Seriously. I would be in vegetarian heaven if they could sub eggs for tofu, or a savory dish that was vegan. And they have Italian food to go for later. Genius!
google avatar

Nikki R.

Yelp
Absolutely incredible dishes! Almost everything is made in house and can be made Gluten Free. Italian Summer Pasta and Aubergine Summer Roll are a must have. The service was wonderful!
google avatar

Dayna C.

Yelp
First and foremost, the service was on point. I was promptly greeted and the woman helping me with my take away order was very kind. I ordered the ham and Brie sandwich which was utter perfection. The soft sour Brie with sweet butter and ham was sooooo yummy. I also ordered a variety of pastries. My favorite was the almond cookie. It was so good I ordered a box of them from the online store to my house. Delivery was quick and affordable, the cookies arrived fresh and tasty. Awesome place for lunch.

Yelp
Fabulous brunch! Great service from Michelle. Loved the eclectic menu. Many GF options!! Took home a box of GF pastries

Yelp
Such a great find in Bend! Absolutely delicious brunch before we head out of town. My eyes are way bigger than my stomach, so we could've easily fed 5 people (there was only 2 of us). We had: Hummus Burratta Greek salad Fruit French toast We also took a lentils a la francaise to go that looks amazing! Highly recommend this gem in Bend!!!
google avatar

May J.

Yelp
Everything here is excellent! Tried a cup of Piccolo with flourless chocolate cake which was to die for. Also, the churro waffles with Belgium chocolate sauce and cinnamon French to taste with berry compote. Then I saw them at Bend farmers market for more goodies. They are baking fresh and I tasted the amount of patient and passion they've put in making each item.
google avatar

Molly S.

Yelp
One of my favorite places in Bend!!! So many amazing gluten free options. I love the sandwiches and all the baked goods here. We've also pre-ordered gluten free bread for the holidays a few times, and it always turns out SO good.

C B.

Yelp
This place is delish. Gluten free, yeh. Chocolate cake so moist it melts in your mouth, double yeh. Looking forward to going in for an actual meal.

Jeff W.

Yelp
Blissful spoon is a hidden gem in Bend. Their menu is always filled with surprises and I am amazed how much of it is gluten free. The staff is very friendly and attentive. This is a must go when visiting Bend.
google avatar

Emily K.

Yelp
Pastries are all gluten free, and so so tasty!! Will 100% be coming back to try more and their food menu
google avatar

Elina O.

Yelp
We stopped in out of curiosity, just for a snack. I got their shishito peppers, an apple cinnamon cake, and an apple crisp kombucha. Everything was great. I would come back for the apple cake! Friendly service too, from the waitress from Michigan. My only request would be more items on their after dark menu (which is interesting that it begins at 3pm when it's definitely not after dark, haha) as my boyfriend (who had different tastes than mine) couldn't really find something he liked and shared my snacks instead. Maybe something that sounds more like comfort food (even if it's a healthier rendition of it?) as he's more of a person whose eyes go to toward something battered and fried or melty cheesy.
google avatar

isabelle l.

Yelp
Good service, very very nice staff. They were so friendly and nice! However, overpriced and mediocre food. My bread was cold. My eggs were runny. This place is overpriced, small portioned, and low quality food. They even skimped on the coffee! Would NOT recommend
google avatar

Yelp
Interesting and unusual breakfast. Delicious pastry. Friendly and fun staff. Just wish the parking was a bit easier downtown but whatcha gonna do‍

Andy B.

Yelp
Fantastic bakery that expanded into a new building right along the back alley ( Wednesday market ) in downtown bend. Not your typical American breakfast as this restaurant has french influence and can be seen in their elevated take on various items such as eggs Benedict which includes french ham- asparagus and two beautifully done poached eggs. Service was top notch and they additionally just opened a bar downstairs open Thur-Sun!
google avatar

Sohayla S.

Yelp
Stopped by Blissful Spoon for a quick breakfast while we were passing through Bend and I'm so glad we did! Service was quick and everyone was friendly. We ordered the chakchouka and the smoked salmon brioche toast. The smoked salmon toast was delicious! The bread tasted fresh and the smoked salmon to bread ratio was perfect. The chakchouka was also delicious- my Lebanese husband put his stamp of approval on it. Portions weren't huge, but they were perfect for me. I thought prices were pretty average for the area. Definitely a cute spot to check out!

Yelp
Pros: Great food & drinks, friendly staff (mostly) Cons: Dine-in service was a bit slow, food a little spendy We were seated immediately, but took a while to place food/drink orders & get water. Waitress seemed confused that we hadn't been helped yet & others seated after us received water first. Most of the staff we interacted with seemed very friendly, but our waitress seemed a bit irritated with us for some reason (I'm just going to chalk it up to her wanting to be off work for the holiday, so I won't take it personally). However, once we did receive the food & drinks, they were great! Tried the fresh-squeezed orange juice, mimosa and americano, which were all good. Had the breakfast sandwich & smoked salmon toast, both of which were great as well. The slow service is really what killed the experience & brings the rating down to a 4. Might be that they were short-staffed as it was the 4th of July, so don't want to be too harsh. But there were many instances in which the staff was chatting & seemingly enjoying down time, especially since there weren't many people in the restaurant. We had to go inside & ask the staff for the bill 20-30 min after finishing our food. Though, had we just wanted a pastry & not dine-in, it would have been a quick in and out (unlike some other popular breakfast/pastry places in the area). We'll give it another chance when we're back in town, but will probably just keep it to a to-go pastry/drinks & skip dine-in.

Yelp
I had vile french onion soup. One tiny piece of bread and a sliver of cheese. Then a patronizing response from the owner who seems to be inferring that my tastes are pedantic. They are not. I've been to Morocco and am in Paris now. This is real french onion soup. Lots of Gruyère broiled on top with good crusty fence bread.

Linden G.

Yelp
The food was amazing, thoughtfully prepared and plated. Our server was super helpful and personable, the chef came out and chatted with us as well. It's easy to tell this is a labor of love for the people behind the scenes. Everything is homemade, including the gluten free options (pastries, bread, and pasta). We each ordered something different. Prawn toast, chakchuka, salmon benedict, and the sandwich. All of it was unique and delicious.
google avatar

Kate M.

Yelp
Great location-corner of Newport and NW Brooks (near Pine Tavern). Delicious coffee with real cream, big assortment of gluten free pastries, nice lunch menu with vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. Sunny and nice music-I'll definitely be back! Often!

Yelp
Enjoyed both our food and cocktails. We ordered French Eggs Benedit, but they were out of ham so we substituted bacon. It was good. The chicken sandwich was too. Loved the white sangria!! It just seemed a bit expensive. Outdoor area was limited. Didn't get desserts, but they looked amazing!

Yelp
Wow! Seriously amazing on all fronts. Stopped in with my family and wasn't sure what to expect. The location is clean, open, and modern. We were greeted with smiles and felt a genuine sense that everyone was happy to help us. We had two worn out toddlers, a teen with a horrible sunburn, and three super tired parents. But the staff was all able to put smiles on our faces. We had a sampling of different drinks, coffees, and brunch items snd everything was incredibly delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
Lovely owners and delicious small bite plates. Local beers and wine. They moved here from Australia, but the chef is from Morocco. They are have a good selection of pastries that they make and some are glutton free. Inside and outside seating. Closes at 6pm. But they won't kick you out if you are there!

Yelp
Went with great expectations. Found the food to be decent but not great. Overpriced for what was served. Three half slices of bread for the French Toast. That's five dollars a slice for small pieces of bread. Service was slow but friendly. Pastries seem small and overpriced. Coffee was good!

Yelp
Alhough the website states Bakery, Breakfast and Brunch, my husband and I recently had a very nice lunch of seafood chowder, Greek salad and a yummy house-made cookie.. The food was fresh, flavorful and delicious. We also noted interesting sandwiches on the menu, and we look forward to trying other items in the future. A delightful and appealing new addition to Bend's dining scene with an innovative menu.
