Bloc District Barcelona Marina

Amazing climbing gym, kilter, moon, huge spray wall, huge fingerboard/campus area, so many different styles slabs, coordination, dynos, power boulders etc. I would say the grading is a bit too soft for very experienced climbers but for sure some 8's are tough. The bar is also really cozy and affordable. Great vibe overall

Best climbing gym I’ve ever been to, massive area with incredible route setting. New holds and a bigger training area than some entire gyms I’ve been to in the past. Fully equipped weight room and good showers as well. Highly recommend.

A really good and clean climbing gym. Have a good structure to change, take a shower and tons of lockers (both within the changing room as well outside of it) Boulders/problems were fun, with a big variety of styles and holds, but some of them were a bit hard for short people, imo (I'm a big guy, 1.85m, but I saw some smaller ones struggling with the distance between moves) Overall a nice gym with good problems, but some boulder better suited for bigger guys/girls

Very nice bouldering gym. Kilter boards, moon boards. Three different boulder areas that are frequently updated. Plenty of lockers. Bike rack. Close to Bogatel métro station. Top!

The climbing gym has a great atmosphere for climbing. Big variety of interesting boulders, expect a lot of overhangs. The few things that I did not like was the “liquid chalk only” policy. Even though it’s better to breathe in the gym this way, loose chalk is better to my skin, imho. You have to carry your own lock if you want to leave your stuff inside a locker, at least we weren’t offered a lock 🔒 on the reception. The ventilation in the bigger section wasn’t as good as in the small one. Overall clean and nice. My Overall rating would be 4.7 ⭐️

Great place! I really like the environment there - clean, perfect air and instantly ready for climbing. The routes were also very nice - various routes. Sometimes I had feeling that some of them are not graded right but I loved the place anyway! 😎✌️🧗

Pros: - vast training area with a weight area complete with a squat platform - AC in the summer (not the best but better than other gyms) - kilter + spray wall + moonboard + lattice - location - variety of walls including slab, vertical, overhang, cave area Cons: - routesetting quality is very inconsistent - caters better to beginner climbers - air quality tends to be poor - incredibly busy in the weekday evenings - loud dj on thursday evenings Went regularly for a year because of convenience and it has all that's needed for training. But since the additional price increase I felt it's not worth it anymore.

Bloc District has to be one of the nicest bouldering centres I've been too! Staff are very friendly and helpful with most speaking Spanish English and a few other languages. The bad reviews on this page are either from people not understanding its just a bouldering centre (so no lead or top rope) and complaints about the air conditioning (which has been installed recently). I'm english and obviously dont deal with heat to well in general but here I am perfectly capable of climbing for hours. FOR THE RANDOM REVIEWER MOANING THEY CANT GO SHIRTLESS! 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ I DONT WANT TO SEE YOUR HALF NAKED BODY AND NO ONE ELSE DOES EITHER! A TEE SHIRT DOESNT RESTRICT YOUR CLIMBING ABILITY 🤣🤣 Honestly this place is a creative safe haven filled with a staff so friendly they've built a community in a very short amount of time! I can't recommend this place enough! From beginners to the very best, this place will challenge you whilst you have tons of fun! Keep up the good work guys every time I come I leave with a smile on my face even if I have dislocated a finger 😂😂
