Blokweer Museum Mill

Coming to the Netherlands, the land of windmills, I was able to fully explore and experience the windmills. ​I felt it was a wonderful experience and well worth the trip. ​The surrounding environment was also magnificent and added to the natural atmosphere, which I enjoyed even more. ​It was also fascinating to see how a family actually lived inside the windmill. ​If I get the chance, I would definitely like to visit again. ​Thank you.

It's all part of the kinderdjick experience. This place was very interesting because the windmill was actually working. A little rough to get to in a travel stroller because of the gravelly portion. But great views. And kind folks.

Awesome place to visit and recommend a tour if possible. Gift shop has some nice pictures and items not found at other places.

What a lovely day out, it was wonderful to see working windmills, the staff were very informative and explained so much to us about how they all worked.

Very scenic place whatever the weather for romantics, artists and even the public :)

A well preserved mill that dates back to 1630. It’s a unesco world heritage site. Enjoyed the walk to the 2 mills. Kids absolutely loved it. On winter days won’t recommend staying late in the area if you don’t have a car because it’s quite difficult to get a cab. There is public transport (bus) just around the corner which you can consider taking.

With the ticket, you can visit this nice spot. A small coffee shop and the toilet is included in this location.

Wonderful sight to see. We took a boat ride with Viking to see this Windmill, that's kept in 1950s shape.
