Blom Restaurant

I was here for a business dinner. The food and ambience are great. Staff is very friendly and courteous. The menu is short but every dish is tasty. Its located in the center of the town along with other restaurants and bars.

We were here for three meals during three days during the 'Arendalsuka' week (Norways most important political / social event - meaning service being really stressful and busy). Based on a combination of personal experience and other's references, Blom is considered to be the best restaurant in Arendal.

Had an afternoon drink at the place. The service was superb, the waiter could make good recommondations on wine. Could have had a better selection of beer, but to be honest it is only a subjective opinion, and I would highly recommend the place.

Very friendly staff, but a bit slow service at times even when the place was not to crowded. The fish and dessert was excellent, the duck was only good. Big portions even if it's a bit nicer restaurant.

World-class quality food and professional service. If looking for a safe bet on a good dinner out, this is where to go in Arendal.

Upscale but not overly-elegant restaurant in Arendal, Norway. Service was great and my main course (reindeer) was cooked to perfection.
