Blonay-Chamby Museum Railway

I think this museum is really for train enthusiasts or if you come with kids, because there was not much to do in the museum except looking at the old coach collection and the area was not too big. we went during the La Nuit des Musées event, so the visit was free (with a bit of queue).

Absolutely fantastic experience with amazing autumn views, impressive stream locomotives and beautiful carriages. We were surprised to discover and ride in the belle époque restaurant car and a first class compartment that reminded us of Harry Potter. Needles to say our 5 & 7 year old children loved every moment.

A lovely railway with superb views across Lake Geneva and a great selection of locomotives and rolling stock. Very friendly staff and good facilities in the museum at the end of the line.

Absolutely amazing railway museum. Very recommended. Unfortunately the documentation is not very clear, and when you start at the wrong place at the wrong time troubles are to be expected.

Excellent place for any age. Great effort from the passionate volunteers.

A cute little railway museum with an attached heritage railway with both steam and electric traction.

Awesome experience of taking the steam engine train! At the museum you get to see a few more old trains, though with little explanations. About 2 hour stay is enough. Restaurant food wasn’t that good too. Still worth the visit!

It is a very interesting project. When you go up by old-style train, you can see wonderful views all around. In Museum there are lots of exponats like old steam trains. You can go inside of each and imagine how people travelled even more than 100 years ago. Safe and interesting for people of all ages. It's better to go when weather is good, no rain. When it rains - it is also possible to enjoy as Museum is covered. But personally I would prefer nice weather because of sightseeing
