We go to a lot of haunts and this was our first time at Blood Manor and it was amazing. We had such a great time. It was also amazing because our son is currently in a wheelchair and they went out of their way to make it inclusive, accessible and fun. I grew up going to the Haunted Mansion in Long Branch and that is a high bar. Blood Manor reminded me of how much fun that used to be. We are so jaded we hardly ever get scared anymore, and each of us jumped at least once. The sheer number of live people they have makes such a difference. At most places one person jumps out and you are like, ok, I'm done. With Blood Manor you never know how many people will jump out from the same room, so it always keeps you on your toes. We are definitely going back this was fun, scary and definitely worth the price. Thank you again to the Blood Manor staff for working so hard to make my son's wheelchair experience of it so good!

It was great. And we were scared. Lol. We had a good 15 minutes of not knowing what was going to happen next. It was enough time for me. I wanted to get out of there screamed enough. Lol The professionalism of the actors to stay in character A1. The line looked long but it moved quickly. Then we did a movie so great Sunday night overall. Telling everyone I know. Glad I didn’t pay mind to the negative reviews.

If you’re looking for a thrilling and spine-chilling experience this Halloween season, Blood Manor in NYC is the place to be! Located at 359 Broadway, this haunted house is a must-visit for anyone who loves a good scare. From the moment you step inside, you’re immersed in a world of horror and excitement. The themed rooms and corridors are meticulously designed to maximize your fears, with each turn bringing new surprises and frights. The actors are incredibly convincing, and the special effects are top-notch, making you feel like you’re in a real-life horror movie. One of the highlights for me was the 3D room, where you get special glasses to view the terrifying scenes in a whole new dimension. The attention to detail in every room is astounding, and the variety of themes keeps you on your toes throughout the entire experience. Despite the scares, the atmosphere is fun and exhilarating. It’s the perfect blend of fear and entertainment, making it an unforgettable night out. Whether you’re going with friends or braving it alone, Blood Manor is sure to leave you with lasting memories and a few good scares. I totally recommend Blood Manor for anyone looking to get their heart racing and have a blast this Halloween. Just remember, it’s not for the faint of heart! 🎃👻

AMAZING. Blood Manor is my new favorite haunted house in nyc, it’s perfect for a night out with friends!! the actors are amazing. they have a way of keeping you scared but also strangely entertained, making you scream and laugh at every corner. Actor makeup and room design/decor was phenomenal. Out of all the haunted houses i’ve been to, this one is one of my top ones. Merch is very cool too, I got myself a cool shirt. Overall, 10/10 experience, 100% worth checking out!! :-)

Hands down the scariest haunted house I've ever been to. I went to their preview this week and was horrified in the best way possible. The venue is huge with so many twists and turns and I screamed more than I've ever screamed before. I now understand why this place sells t-shirts that say "I Pissed My Pants at BloodManor." Highly recommend this to horror fans and but it's not for the faint of heart.

Blood Manor is a really great place if you want to feel the Halloween spirit. When you first get there you will need to find the gate that has your assigned time. THE ACTORS WILL NOT TOUCH YOU! The ambiance is creepy and the props are great. There are some very dark halls so be careful when traversing. They frightening me with jumpscares but personally I love all the actors makeup and commitment to their craft. It's only a 4/5 due to the price/time. The experience was good but very short, the price doesn't justify it making you feel wanting more from them. Overall it was great but too pricy for a short amount of time.

Just went to Blood Manor last night and had to write a 5 star review! The production value was great. Some of the rooms were absolutely disgusting and the decorations were terrifying! I loved the enthusiasm from all the actors. They were awesome. It was two floors of spooky fun, and tons of jump scares. The 3D Sections was so sick. Loved It! It took about 20min total, which I'm totally fine with. When we got there (Halloween Night), they were running behind which is to be expected. The staff said about 15-20min and took about 20min. You can buy RIP (VIP) tickets to jump the line, but honestly, it went by pretty quick. I think the bad reviews on here are maybe people that shouldn't have gone in the first place. For the caliber of staff and production, it seemed a reasonable price. If you've ever gone to Halloween Horror Nights or the like, this seemed totally on par with those scary events. Loved it and can't wait until next year!

Yelp
I went on the very last night of the final season showing (save for the special Lights Out event) and at the 11:30 PM time slot. There was no wait and no preambling long speech about rules and such, which I appreciated. Since my friend dropped out last minute, I went alone and had a really fantastic time. If you can go alone, it's wonderful and only increases the tension and heightened surprise around every corner. I've been to many haunted houses and find most of them rather unimpressive or generally not scary at all, but this one managed to get my heart rate up *and* got at least a few jump scares out of me, especially in the first half. It was overall a great thrill ride, especially going in alone, and I really enjoyed the immersion, the commitment of the actors and the detailed, colorful set designs and cool animatronics. There were times I wanted to walk even slower to really take everything in and enjoy it. I spent most of the time laughing with glee and saying to myself "THIS IS DOPE." While the 3D glasses section didn't do much for me (maybe it's just my eyesight, but the effects here looked a bit blurry and not very three-dimensional), that's a minor critique. This haunt is also quite expensive, but in my opinion worth it if you love these kind of immersive experiences, especially of the scary variety. Bonus points for the friendly staff letting me switch my time slot from 7 pm to 11:30 after my friend dropped out with no issue or fuss.

Yelp
The scariest Halloween experience I've ever set foot into. This isn't for the faint of heart. I don't want to give anything away but it's a harrowing start to finish haunted house that's well worth the ticket price. Highly recommend.

Yelp
This was so fun! I went last night with friends and can't wait to return! Every year just gets better and more exciting. I think this is NYC's best haunted house and it's open all Halloween season!

Yelp
Waste of money! Nothing scary or any suspense. Just a bunch of neon colors and giggly workers. So disappointed

Yelp
When I came here a couple years ago, I purchased 3 haunted house attractions. The haunted houses were super small and one of them did not have any pop ups. It was a maze format and everyone just walked in a singular line to the end. The walk was completed in less than 3 minutes. No pop-ups or anything, everyone was confused. No refund we're issued and this was not address. Everyone was dismissed. Decided to come back DESPITE all of that for the sake of my siblings. They are super young and this was the closest attraction close to me. I purchased tickets on sale and unfortunately last minute my sister was hospitalized. I explained my situation to the customer service rep over email. The customer service agent was SUPER rude. I'm not sure who I was speaking to since nobody wanted to give names but I sent, "Is there a supervisor i can speak to? They can email me or call me at ___Thanks." They responded "Why? What is the problem? I told you ho to do this. The tickets you have now were only $39.75 and you need to pay $59.75 for the tickets now. Buy the new tickets and I will refund you as soon as you email me both order numbers. There is no higher person to speak to." After this, someone named "Mike" claimed to be the supervisor but stated he did not know what was going on, even though all emails were visible on both end. After asking multiple times for the name of the customer rep, there is no answer, which leads me to believe I was speaking to Mike This whole time. I'm not sure why they believe speaking like that anyone is appropriate, especially for a company. Highly unprofessional. It's funny how they kept stating no refunds until they decided I needed to buy tickets at a more expensive price in order to get a refund of my old ticket. That makes absolutely no sense. THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT MONEY. HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL, DO NOT COME!!!!!

Yelp
It's a fun thing to do if you get there early enough to not wait in the ridiculous lines. I went here this past year at the 6pm slot and it was really fun. Each room was filled with actors and actresses and props that you would expect in an adult version of a haunted house. The actual walk through the manor is pretty short and there gets to be a point where the jump scares no longer do it for you. Coolest part of this experience is the 3d portion which makes you feel like you are in an interactive exhibit. Overall a fun thing to do in the Halloween season and tickets are about $40 a person. Be sure to get on the lines early -- even though you have a time slot, the wait times can get to be insane.

Yelp
Had a great time! I haven't been to many haunted houses, but it was fun! A little dorky and not the scariest in the world, but it definitely had some good jump scares. The workers were nice and made the experience more fun. Would go again, just a little expensive, but that's to be expected.

Yelp
So much fun! This was one of the best haunted houses we've ever been to! The staff was very professional and accommodating, with a security presence outside keeping things orderly and moving along safely. The characters, costumes, and decor were amazing! Very professional, with all the role players staying in character throughout the event, which lasted about 20 minutes. Before and after they even took time to pose for a couple pictures. In spite of attending on Halloween weekend, the line was very manageable and about what one would expect. The spooky characters lurking around out front also kept everyone entertained as we waited to enter. A very good time for whole family! Thanks.

Yelp
Excellent experience! The actors were so terrifying and awesome. I liked all of the different themes in the rooms . The actor's make up was very scary. Looking forward to Blood Manor 2025!

Yelp
Hands down the best haunted house in NYC / NYC area. Came on a weekday and the house was FULL of actors unlike other houses i've visited. From outside to inside you will be scareeed. When I say the actors were committed they were COMMITTED. Left shaking in the best way possible!!

Yelp
I actually loved this. Horror can be very subjective, so I am sure some people might walk through without even a flinch, but I think most of us here can get some good scares and screams. I got the RIP tickets, kinda pricey but I think worth it. Much less waiting and was worth paying like $20 more just go not wait in the lines (which were long). I went the beginning of the night, which I think was better - I feel like the actors are fresh-er then and not as tired and more into it.
google avatar

Joselin B.

Yelp
Firstly, we waited two hours to get into the place itself. 8-10pm. Once we FINALLY got in, there was so much people inside at the same time that my experience was ruined because of those in front of me. Not to mention, it lasted about 5-10 mins. It was not scary, more funny and for $50 I was expecting A LOT more. I will never return and I do not recommend to NO ONE. It is not worth it. Unless you're a child.

Yelp
I'm not a fan of being scared! This was an event that took me out of my comfort zone and i loved it. The performers are considerate they do not touch you unless you are headed in the wrong direction. The make-up an special effect were top of the line! Put this on your Halloween bucket list. Definitely great for a date night or family fun!

Yelp
Cant say enough about the service. Took my young daughter and her cousin but they were too scared. The staff went above and beyond regarding service. Stellar! My little girls did not make it past the first round. A manager came out to help and she was just as amazing as the front door staff welcoming us in. Manager was able to give us a short guide so the girls could have a little experience of what this place has to offer. Amazing! THANK YOU MUCH!

Yelp
Honestly definitely raised my heart rate and scared me a good bit And I'm a "toughie"

Yelp
This was by far the best haunted house ! It was scary and the actors were amazing ! The Decor was out of this world but the best part was the location it's actually not difficult to park near 359 Broadway ! I can't wait to go again ! It take a while to get through , I would wear sneakers . They even give you a flyer for a Halloween party at Oheka castle on the 31st ! You gotta go you won't be disappointed .

Yelp
I came here with my friend last night on Halloween, we got the 7pm showing. For my time slot, the line was super quick, waited only 5-10 min max. They did a fantastic job! I was surprised, I've been to a lot of haunted houses and most of them are just okay/average, but this one really was scary! *Make sure you go in only w/ 1 or 2 friends at a time so you can't anticipate the scares ahead of you. It really is scarier this way, and Blood Manor did an excellent job. I don't scare easily, and this one was making my heart beat fast (again, go through only w/ 1 or 2 friends, no one in front of you/ no one in back of you, to get the full experience!). It's a quick walk-through, only 10 min, 15 min max but it's worth it! Also, if you have a nicer coat you don't want to (potentially get neon paint on), they will hold your coat for you at the desk. Nice!

Yelp
Okay wow...Blood Manor in Lower Manhattan is a truly terrifying haunted house experience that delivers intense scares from start to finish. The walk through was about a half hour so be prepared to experience a long journey. The atmosphere is thick with suspense as you make your way through dark, winding corridors filled with gruesome scenes and chilling surprises. The actors wildly convincing, jumping out at just the right moments to keep you on edge, and the detailed sets, eerie lighting, and realistic special effects make the entire experience feel like a nightmare come to life. Each room has a different horror theme, from twisted medical experiments to abandoned fun houses and you never know what's lurking around the next corner. If you're a fan of horror and looking for a heart-pounding experience that will have you screaming and jumping the whole way through, Blood Manor is an absolute must-visit this Fall.

Yelp
Before you read this I'm one of the actors. The truth is you will wait online if you come on a busy night. I was at a haunt last week up in Oswego and I waited over 2 hours. It took us 15 minutes to walk through and it was 100% worth it. At Bloodmanor We do an excellent job making you uncomfortable and creeped out while waiting. If you don't like that sort of thing you may want to rethink it In my 55 years I have worked at a few places. Have been at Bloodmanor for quite a few. We as a whole do an excellent job of scaring the shit out of people, and I mean that literally. We don't give out "I peed myself at Bloodmanor" T shirts for no reason. If you don't like being scared, or you just really don't find this stuff scary, than simply come for the enjoyment of it all. Don't be miserable and ruin the experience for everyone else around you. Realise you will wait on a line. There will be actors there to make you feel uncomfortable and or scared. We love doing what we do. We don't do it for the money. At least most of us don't. Honestly it's absolutely exhausting and we. F!^%IN love it. Lots of these reviews are non sense from people that just wanna complain. I get it you waited on a long line and it only took 15 minutes to walk through the house. How many times did you or someone else around you get scared by an actor? Outside or inside while waiting? If you tend to get cold outside wear a jacket. I know it's not fashionable but use some common sense and stay warm while waiting outside in October!! There is more to this than just going through the house. The anticipation and all the effort put in by all of the staff is 100% top notch! The makeup artists, which are some of the best in this industry work tirelessly putting us together. Many of us start at 4:00 and the haunt closes at 12:00 or 1:00am. It's hot, exhausting and downright hard work and we F!@%^IN love it More than 1 of us will get hit by someone that got scared. I've been hit many times. Not on purpose just a reaction. We have some actors that get hit or touched on purpose. Mostly due to drunken shitheads. We deal with many drunk and belligerent dumbasses. We will work hours and hours helping you to have the scariest and creepiest experience possible. Yes I rate myself and the entire staff at Bloodmanor 5 stars. Yes we are that good. Yes it is worth the price of admission. If you love horror and gore. If you genuinely can't stand being scared. We will scare you. The sounds alone are F!#$%IN creepy. Makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up every night Stop listening to all the negative Nellie's on here. Thousands more people have a great time and love the experience. See you soon

Yelp
Went in with my girlfriend last week. I don't usually get scared it was mainly so my girl could be scared and I could laugh. She was screaming and it was hilarious. It wasn't until we were on the colorful floor up the stairs that one of the actors or machines scared me half to death. We were walking in the maze with the clowns and there was a little elderly clown with a weapon but that wasn't what scared me. What scare me was when I turn around I see this head above me behind a black curtain and it was looking staight at me and just dropped all the way to the ground and this little boy I'm black comes crawling out the floor towards me. I pissed myself and to this day I still see that face. I'm still asking myself if that really happened or it was my imagination. This place is great and more scary than I thought. I plan to go back with my friends this week

Yelp
First of all, full disclosure, we bought the RIP ticket ahead of time. We knew the lines would be long and didn't feel like waiting in them. For us, this option was definitely worth it. As for the haunt itself? Pretty damn good. It's divided into two sections. The first is dark and grimy, with lots of gore and violent scenes. Some good jump scares. The actors were great, lots of good interaction and intensity without ever crossing the line. There was one very, very dark room with hidden actors whispering that spooked me out. Not the scariest haunt I've ever experienced, but tons of fun. The second section is the 3D/neon section and this was spectacular. Visually awesome (almost to the point of overload) with so much to look at, so many good scares, so much misdirection. Actors were hiding here in so many unexpected places because they blended in so well. This was just pure joy for me. Also, the staff outside was incredibly friendly and helpful. All 3 of us had a great time. The whole experience took about 20-25 minutes. I'd definitely come back. Set up your expectations properly and I think you'll have fun too.

Yelp
I got this on Groupon for my boyfriend and I for $19 a ticket. In total it came up to $38. We had a time slot for 9 pm - 10 pm. We were instructed to be there 8:45 pm. We got there at 8:30 pm because I knew that this being a weekend event in Manhattan, there was going to be some waiting. I misunderstood the time slots and assumed that I would start at 9 pm on the dot, the time slot is just the time you pick to start the event which in my case was anywhere between 9 pm - 10 pm. We waited on the line from about 8:30 til 9:15. There's 2 lines. One outside and one inside. The actors do come outside and taunt you a bit. The actual attraction was scary. The actors really put their all into their performances and for what I paid for, it wasn't too bad. Took us about 25 mins to complete the haunted house. The couple in our group said they paid $85 for their tickets and for that price tag, it's not worth it. 2 pieces of advice. Try to find discounted tickets on Groupon because this is not worth the $ they are trying to sell it for. If you're not going to pay extra to be on the fast line then try to come 30 mins before your time slot because the weekends can get crazy.

Caitlin M.

Yelp
Bloodmanor was such a great experience! I recommend to everyone who wants to get scared lol. I brought my two friends and we all had so much fun. The actors and props were realistic and scary and it was fun to walk through. The actors came outside and scared us on line too. We screamed a lot hahah It was about 25 minutes to walk through. Definitely recommend to go check it out

Yelp
I really enjoyed myself at this haunted house. From the time you arrive there's laughs, scares, & entertainment while you wait to enter. I first visited Blood Manor 5yrs ago & honestly I wasn't too happy. It wasn't scary & pretty boring. However I decided to go again this year with some friends & family. We had a great time! I was scared a few times & LoL even more. I do recommend visiting & checking it out for yourself. Thank you Chris for accommodating me & helping with the ticket issue. I really appreciate it.

Yelp
I went here for Halloween and it was pretty fun. They have three floors and various scary folks as well as folks who come through the line to get you ready. There's also a section where you wear 3-D glasses. This is not an ADA accessible event though and the bathroom available is across the street at a store or the porta potty when it's unlocked. So go before you arrive just in case you get scared more than you thought.
google avatar

Albert K.

Yelp
GRAPHIC Don't come here if you get nightmares lol, there's a lot of graphic images. My first and probably last haunted house. I did not find this scary. The ghost town music in Pokémon and True Detective Season 1, now that's scary. LINE Expect a huge line. VIP fast tickets available for an up sell while you wait on line. Convenience store across the street if you get hungry or thirsty. PACING Due to the large crowds during Halloween, you will often be waiting between exhibits. CREEPY PEOPLE There was 1 actor who kept trying to touch my girl, I protected her the whole time, but I was very close to kicking him in the nuts. Followed us the whole way till the exit. Very unprofessional. Not a bad haunted house if you've never been. Graphics are gaudy and actors are such typical tropes that it's really not scary. Definitely not worth the price tag.

Emily O.

Yelp
Blood Manor overall is incredibly fun and I would absolutely go back, but one of the scare actors kept touching me even though the website and the check in staff insist they won't. This person (who looked like they were a child) was so aggressive - at one point they were literally grabbing at my purse and I thought they were trying to take it from me. I repeatedly shouted "I thought you weren't supposed to touch us" but to no avail. Other than that, I would absolutely go back.

Sarai W.

Yelp
Just finished walking through this "haunted house" and It was not scary !!! It was more stink if anything. Also One ticket for GA is more than $50 (although I paid more for a RIP ticket)& it's only a 10 minute walk through. It was a little scary in the begging & that was barely.
google avatar

Matthew F.

Yelp
This experience was the epitome of Fake Hype and the scariest part about it was walking in the wrong room that was completely dark. I don't toss around Fake Hype lightly but Blood Manor is deserving of it. I've been thinking to myself that instead of wasting $50 for this trash, I could have enjoyed 5 burritos. I suggest you don't make the same mistake as I did.

Yelp
This place is fantastic! So well done and I consider myself a significant fan of haunted houses. They also happen to have set themselves apart by being incredibly hadicap friendly. And I say friendly not just for accessibility standards, but for their overall actions and reactions as well. I went here a couple years ago while visiting friends. My friends had done their due diligence and called and made sure it was handicap accessible. It was, they had an elevator and ramps and such, so they went ahead and bought tickets for the whole group. Well, when we got there, the elevator was out. Which I had no issue with, seeing as s this is something you just deal with as a disabled person. You cannot predict when technology will decide to cease working. And that's not anyone's fault and I don't blame people for that. I was prepared to just let my friends go without me while I wait in the lobby for them when the owner came out and basically told me that I was going to get to go in, no matter what. Then 4 security guys came out, picked up my chair on each corner and carried me up several flights of narrow New York City stairs to the haunted house. They personally escorted me through the entire thing so my friends could enjoy the experience without having to push me through (so kind & so beyond & something extra). Then when it was over, we took a maintenance elevator to the loading dock and they lifted me down that as well. The owner also came back out and said because of the inconvenience, that anytime I want to come back, I will do so as his guest. I forget his name now but he was the sweetest man I have yet to meet and went above and beyond the call of customer service demands. I don't expect this level from places. But it's so nice when it happens and I always remember. Which means I recommend this place to absolutely anyone who visits NYC during October. And I hear they hold it in February too, from what I can remember. (For additional information, read Hilary L.'s post, as she was the group member who arranged all this. But I had to point out how wonderful they were, even if it was 2 years ago.)

Amy B.

Yelp
Beyond amazing!!! I loved it last year and didn't think it could get any better, but the Manor has outdone itself! From the new sets, to the actors, to the managing staff; everything about this year's visit went above and beyond my expectations. I can't wait to see what they do next year!

Yelp
Bloodmanor NYC was amazing. Loved it. My name is Cisco but at Bayville Scream Park I go by "Porky." Loved the experience. Great sets and great actors and costumes. Am a Halloween fanatic and actor at Bayville Scream Park. Thank you for the experience.

Yelp
I haven't been to a haunted house since I was 7 or 8. Back then all the bri or hood kids would wait on line for hours to be let in. It was truly a treat and I wanted my son to experience the same thing. So we went to Blood Manor. Were the tickets expensive, yes, were the actors amazing and worth every penny, yes! I was scared out of my mind. The dark section and section with the asylum patients/clowns was frightening. The whole thing was magical and I would do it again.

Kisha V.

Yelp
Took my cousin to the haunted house. We had a wonderful time it's worth every dollar. The wait in line is kinda disappointing. We bought tickets for 9pm for Saturday and didn't get inside until 10:20pm. They guy that was checking your tickets to give you a ticket to enter in the blood manor he was saying if you don't want to join the line you could pay an additional fee of $20 and be on the vip line!! But overall I had a great time and was scared a lil!! It's a cool experience

Jason F.

Yelp
Scary but definitely not 30 minutes long. It was closer to 10 or 15 minutes, which kinda sucks when you've waited an hour in line and paid $42/ticket. You can pay an extra $20/ticket to cut the whole line, which we definitely considered doing. Or, as an alternative, you can buy a few brown bag beers from convenience store on the corner and mingle with the zombie actors entertaining the other peasant waiting in line. I recommend going early or on an off day. Otherwise, be prepared for a long wait. It's still fun tho!

Yelp
Poor excuse of a haunted house. I can't believe they robbed us of $50 per ticket as it was the holy grail of haunted houses. And when one of the workers at the end asked us if we enjoyed it, I could only chuckle to myself and ask if he was serious. Yet he had the audacity to say "what? I think it's great!". I think they're all in on this scam. You practically pay $50 to walk through color full walls and wigs. I had an entire conversation with one of the actors in there. Don't waste your time or money. And please make sure you check yelp before going to anything. If I came on here sooner, I wouldn't have been a poor robbed sap.

Yelp
Incredibly low-effort. The spooky haunted temple was more like a barn, and it was almost impossible to tell where the line stopped and the temple began. You just shuffle through, encountering zero actors, looking at the occasional animatronic satan, and then it spits you out on the other side. Did we just go on a night that every actor had off? Because every attraction was the same. If there were any "actors" their jobs consisted of hitting a wall with a stick or fake bone, trying to scare you just by being obnoxious. I can't imagine who would like this place. It reeks of greed and neglect. Line management was a joke. We got the fast pass tickets and it hardly seemed to matter. I suspect that any positive review left about this place was done so by employees at the request of their boss, who is probably desperate to avoid sinking to the one star status that this place deserves.

Yelp
Since I was out of town for Halloween, I'd still wanted to experience the madness Halloween brings to NYC. We'd bought tickets for the last show which was on a Friday night, roughly a week after Halloween. I was very impress with how organized the staff were with such a large and challenging crowd. Oh boy! I was shivering and nervous cause I wasn't sure how intense this would be. Haha! The performers did an excellent job by scaring the heck out of me. At one point, our group were puzzle for a few minutes as we enter a small maze. Each room had a creative and haunted look to it. My favorite was the 3D experience along with the mirrors and unthinkable creatures brilliantly sneaking up on us. We took our time to digest what each room had to offer. It lasted roughly 20 minutes or so. I'd suggest don't go alone, it's much more fun in groups. Also, it's worthwhile to have a creative mind and be spontaneous so you can have a satisfying experience.

Yelp
Blood Manor had a fun, well produced and designed haunted house attraction and we got to enjoy them via GroupOn which made it an even better deal. They are probably the best Haunted House in NYC. Bear in mind though that their attraction is relatively short, only 20 minutes but you spend that time in motion going from scene to scene and dozens of different scares. The actors when we were there were very enthusiastic and they were smart enough to realize my cousin was a scaredy cat and they had fun honing in on her, much to everyone else's enjoyment. The only other thing to consider is the long lines because like anything else in the city if it's hot and people want to be there you're gonna have to wait. We got hooked up with a RIP pass so we didn't have to wait but the many times we passed by Blood Manor during the season we saw the line stretching around the block.

Yelp
I missed out on the $15 dollar living social deal in September so I bought the ticket at full price ($30 plus $3.50 service charge) in October. Getting this deal at full price was definitely not worth it. The living social deal might have made you feel better afterwards. I dropped by Blood Manor at 9 pm on a Saturday night, the weekend of Halloween. The line was long. People at the front of the line started lining up at 6:30 pm from what I heard. My friends and I waited for two hours. We got in around 11: 30 pm IIt good to bring friends to this events to talk. During the two hours, there were costume creatures walking around to scare us (one man had a knife, another man had a hammer, a third man had a axe and a girl had little baby heads, I am sure I missed some but you get the point). The costume creatures went for the little kids and girls. Due to the long wait, the costume individuals came around a few times to a point where it was no longer scary. When we finally was at the entrance, we had spent a few minutes watching a show (similiar to ripleys believe it or not, one was a man who was flexible and could bend his hand backwards). When we walked past the entrace, we went up a flight of stairs and gave the guy our tickets or purchase tickets if you do no have any. Then we line up and get turned around before we walk in. (so before you enter do not put your friends most likely to not be scared is front because he will be in the back of the line after the turn). When you enter, there is a policy of no touching the actors, they won't touch you but will get as close to you and pop out of nowhere to scare you. Theres approximatemely about 16 rooms you walk. One room involves 3D glasses. I thought we had to go in group of six but because there were so many people it was just everyone following one another. There were some dark places where you could not see where you were going. Going through the rooms did not take that long, probably 20- 25 minutes. overall, not two impressed because i did not get scared enough and thought the price of the show was pricey.. due to the crowd some people got scared some people did not. At the end you stop at the gift shop to buy gifts. They mentioned if you peed on yourself after the show you get a free t-shirt worth $10) I did not see anyone pee on themselves.

Yelp
Blood Manor! I do not know what all the negative reviews are about... The actors do an amazing job; it is legit scary and the props are GRAPHIC! You have to see it for yourself! The line moves quick; it is the perfect spot to go on a date or as a group. You people need to stop hating with the negative reviews! Ha!!!

Yelp
What a rip off! Supposedly 30 minutes more like 10! You spend the first 20 minutes waiting on a line before you can walk through the haunted house. Don't go out of you way to come here.

Yelp
So many issues with this place. First off, though we reserved tickets online and had a scheduled time of 7:30, we waited in the cold for about 20 minutes before being ushered inside into another long line. Think Disney lines where each room you think you might actually be about to get on the ride but it's just another series of people. We spent more time waiting in line than we did inside the house. When we finally did get to experience it, there were some unique elements like 3d stuff and periodic pitch black darkness, but the house was way too short (probably 10-15 minutes total). Not at all worth $50 a ticket. Staff were mostly kind but for the profit they are turning, this house should be scarier and longer. Don't waste your money!

Yelp
I mean..... Yeah, I can agree that some of the costumes were OK. They had some decent fright themes and all. But I was just not impressed. Not scary at all. well, let me not lie, there were TWO areas that put the hair on my neck up, a pitch black room(who wouldn't be scared!) and a room with werewolves(YIKES!) but thats about it. One thing I notice about NYC, there is always alot of HYPE going around and when you experience these things, you're left with MEH...... However, I am happy that I went, with a few of my coworkers after work. We had happy hour first, so that made things more fun and festive lol. The lines were incredibly long! Took us about an hour wait! We had tickets for 7pm, didn't get to front until 757pm! And was out of the maze way before 8pm! idk, maybe I'm a bit jaded lol. I'm used to going to REAL frightening places like Haunted Mansions and Haunted Barns and Corn Fields in Lehigh County, PA, where the REAL frights are! Try walking through a corn maze at 10pm(insert WIDE EYES lol!) But whoever wants to go....GO! You owe it to YOURSELF to experience a Yay or Nay! Yeah, this was kinda Corny/Cheesy, like in a "Killer Clowns From Outer Space" kind of Corny....catch my drift ? lol

Yelp
Save your money - I spent over $100 for express tickets for me & my girlfriend for a "spectacular" 7 whole minutes. The entire experience was way too short & not as described on the website (30 minutes - I did not rush this I assure you). Not to mention at the ending an actor blew off my hat with an air gun & gave me attitude when I told him it landed behind some props which was unobtainable to me. The other staff was friendly & the visuals were well put together. There is a 3D area which is cool but, be weary if you are sensitive/ prone to headaches. Overall, I would honestly like a reimbursement.

Yelp
I wasn't impressed at all. I just wasted my money on 15 minutes walk through of stinky and unorganized. The line is long some of the artist come out on the street to entertain people waiting. Apparently you can't touch the artists but they can and they really are all over you it doesn't matter hat you might not to be touched. In addition people that work there make video and take photos without your consent. Oh but you are not allowed to take photos. We were group of 10 and none of us was impressed.

Yelp
When I went the lines weren't too long, and I didn't encounter any rude staff, overall a positive experience
