BLOOM kitchen bar

Worst meal I have eaten in the Netherlands, at any price. They worked hard at being innovative without tasting the food. Raw tuna was old. The other dishes were just incompatible ingredients. Service was pleasant but slow. The desert tasted like bubble gum. Bar food would have been much less money and tastier. $155 for 2. A $3 bottle of wine at the grocery store was $45. The food was “The Emperors New Clothes”

Very nice fine dining restaurant in Weesp, the food is great, and the people are nice. Location is good. The inside decoration is quite simple.

Came here due to other positive reviews. If I'd known it was gourmet, I probably would have passed, but so glad I didn't. Nothing pretentious here, but amazing food served in sight of a lovely river. Difficult to say enough positive things about this place and our meals. A gourmet restaurant with clear pricing that you can dial in to your budget. The service was beyond excellent with friendly servers who explained all they brought. They accept Visa/MC (many in this small city don't.) Though the place was only 2/3rds full when we left, I'll bet this will be a reservations-only spot someday soon. We'll be back.

Ambiance was quite nice, food was delicious and service was friendly and helpful. My only small complaint is the lack of choice (2) per course and some of the bowls were impractically deep. But very minor gripes in a great meal.

We were expecting some nice dinner and good wine for an evening in Weesp. But what a delightful surprise: very delicious and photogenic food begging to be posted (and then eaten) by us! Lovely memory from Weesp, thank you!
