One of the best places I’ve ever been to, if you like technology “this is your place”. I loved it, great job Michael Bloomberg, your building and company are amazing.

I've been fortunate to visit this spectacular place this month - to attend our WiTNY internship success party. Coming out of the elevator after check-in, everything felt so magical. The cafeteria area was huge and very nicely organized. The interior design was so beautiful and unique. The food arranged for the party was pretty good as well. The hosts were very supportive and played a major role in training and preparing women in tech, as well as towards the overall success of the WiTNY program. I hope to visit this place again. Thanks! :)

Home of Bloomberg, American privately-held financial, software, data, and media company.

Interviewed here for software engineering job last October and I joined Bloomberg in January. The modern office is beautifully designed. But unfortunately Bloomberg has a toxic engineering culture. I left within a year. If you are a software engineer, don't work here ever.

My husband works at Bloomberg, so I get the chance to visit the building regularly. It is not public, so you need to have someone request your access. If you ever get the chance to go, I highly recommend it. Bloomberg is one of the best employers in the city and you can see why people love to work there! They offer lots of fun snacks and beverages (even to visitors) there are awesome fish tanks and great views from the 29th floor.

Yelp
SKYSCRAPER: A mixed use Building which consists of Luxury Condominiums as well as Shopping & Dining establishments. Do you remember the BLOOMBERG Studios at the EXXON Building? The former site of the flagship ALEXANDER'S Department Store who still own the property. WORTH VISITING.

Yelp
It is irrefragable how definitely elite Bloomberg is as a business news reporting and business information company. More than 30% of the financial institutions have Bloomberg machines. I certainly had a Bloomberg machine at many of the companies I worked at. And furthermore, it should be realized that Bloomberg TV reaches hundreds of millions of homes worldwide. (Bloomberg TV, CNBC, and Fox Business are the three most impressive business news television presentations, in my opinion). Bloomberg Radio and Bloomberg Newsweek Magazine are also extremely professional and many would consider them as elite caliber as well. Absolutely a phenomenal organization.

Yelp
Pretty amazing building. Green, lots of light and space for conversations, conferences, free drinks/snacks and a sense of purpose to the many thousands of workers in the building. I always like to come here for their learning presentations and speakers, and the place also handles well with catering (not sure if that's an external or not). Semi-curious if they'll host external firm events... for the most part, being a client of Bloomberg will get you in the door with an appointment or an event scheduled. They also hold classes, do the radio show and TV station, and the big boss this is all named after is here, too.

Yelp
Loved visiting this place. Such a cool and stylish venue. Humming w energy and purpose. Got to see a few sets - including Charlie Rose's! - and meet interesting people. Even the big boss (Mr. B!) was there (seen in his office conf space through his glass walls) while I passed through his greater office area. Definitely happy to visit again anytime! Even the food was nice ;-)

Yelp
Amazing building! The Lobby is on the 6th floor and an amazing center atrium. The sculpture on the first floor is ugly, what were they thinking when they brought it? The metal sculpture of a "cloud" is ugly too. The Koi fish pond and aquariums are wonderful addition to the sky lobby. The design of the whole building is amazing, I would love to meet the designer or architect.

Yelp
Bloomberg is great! The building is wonderful, as are the staff members. I got to see the TV news room and ran into a few anchors.

Yelp
If you don't work here, find a friend who works here and ask them for a tour. The interior is niiiiice. There is also pantries throughout their offices where employees and guests can help themselves to all kinds of refreshments and snacks. Snacks are on the healthier side. To name a few there were fruits, trail mixes, food bars, oatmeal, dried fruit, apple crisps, zucchini crisps!! All I have to say is, you gotta see it to believe it.

Yelp
The Best News Source in the World. Who else would you trust to watch the 2009 Economic Meltdown? Plus the anchorwomen are hot.

Yelp
The magazine is delivered to my home on Fridays using the delivery person who delivers the LA Times and Wall Street Journal. For some reason, I continue to have trouble getting my copy of Bloomberg BusinessWeek on a consistent basis. It seems like I have to call circulation nearly once a month. You would think it is a delivery problem, but I don't have any difficulties with the other publications. I was missing my magazine last Friday and called to ask them to send the missing magazine, expecting to get a copy sometime this week. When I called today (the following Friday), they said I had called on Wednesday, two days ago and the magazine was in route. Sigh.

Yelp
I've done a few interviews with the Bloomberg TV team, and I absolutely love doing them here because of how beautiful their office and production environment is. Very well designed. Looks like a beautiful tech company. Bonus is the free healthy/premium snacks, treats, and drinks they make available to all of their employees and their guests! Love this place.

Yelp

Yelp
Let me be clear - I'm not writing about the television station, but the building and the Bloomberg offices inside. I had a chance to take a tour yesterday with a friend who works there and the office spaces inside are stunning. Michael Bloomberg is all about "transparency," in business and in life, and it shows at this company. There are no offices, no cubicles, no opaque walls. Everything is either transparent or translucent. There is no real way to slack off here at your desk because there are no real separations between work stations. So, you're feeling sleepy? Hungry? No need to leave the building because there's a huge snack bar on the 6th floor! Cookies, granola, pretzels, chips, protein bars, milk (skim, 2% and chocolate), juice, soft drinks, coffee, etc. What a genius business plan! I also loved the color schemes - hints of red, blue, green, yellow, purple, orange - bouncing off every wall. This just seemed like a very inspiring place to work.

Yelp
I was a subscriber to Bloomberg BusinessWeek. I was contacted for renewal and decided not to renew. Bloomberg stopped sending me magazines. That was good. However, they now send me a letter with the following verbiage: " Last Chance to settle your past-due Bloomberg Businessweek Account before it is referred to our credit & collection unit" Bloomberg BusinessWeek doesn't provide magazines unless they are pre-paid. I did not receive one magazine from Bloomberg for which I did not pay. It is dishonest and unethical to pressure people to pay with threat of sending to a collection unit for a service that was not rendered. I have a FICO score that is over 800. I pay my bills on time and would never dream of not paying for a good or service that I have received. It is disappointing that BusinessWeek would use such dishonest business practices.

Yelp
Bloomberg - So I prefer them to CNBC because they actually report the news and aren't so opinionated but most of the time their shows are so boring. I wish they'd focus more on reporting the best news stories of the day rather than off in neverland. It's weird to see the market open for 20 minutes and Bloomberg running a story about some Bee Farm in Utah. Focus on the stock market and what is moving, especially in the first few hours. I find myself turning off Bloomberg a lot!

Yelp
I responded to a mailed ad for Bloomberg BusinessWeek, enclosing a check for payment in full. A month later, I received a bill for the subscription I had already paid for. Fortunately I remembered that I had already sent a check; someone with a poorer memory would have paid twice.

Yelp
Coolest. Building. Ever. Great energy and impeccably communal-feeling. Wow.

Yelp
No delivery at all of a prepaid subscription but I get many early renewal offers in the mail constantly. No response to emails. Stay away!!!!!!!

Yelp
Their services are fine but, not worth the price [ bloomberg terminal]. Their messenger service on BT is ok. Capital IQ offers better service and more competitive for the price.
