Bloomfield Cabins and Camping

Fantastic location, a true paradise for a family fishing and crabbing holiday. Dog friendly with excellent amenities. Kat and Yogi are welcoming and perfect hosts at the oasis that they maintain, exceptionally clean bathrooms and camp kitchen which is so needed after a day of boating. Boyd,Shaz and family.

We actually stumble across this Caravan Park after an accident with our car and trailer. We explained our situation to the owners and they were so lovely and helpful to find us a site. The amenities were so clean and the caravan park is stunning to look at with big trees for shade and lovely level sites. A great find can highly recommend 👌

Highly recommend this park! A tropical oasis sheltered from the wind. Beautiful luscious green camp grounds and a great camp atmosphere. Welcoming hosts that have loads of information about the area. Super dog friendly 🙌 Thank you Kat, Yogi & Bear for having us 🤍

Stayed here for 4 nights recently,definitely recommend this stay.Great big grassy sites,beautiful gardens.Clean amenities with a great shower. Great price,value for money. Kat and Yogi are very hard working friendly hosts.And Bear is adorable.

Beautiful lush area with excellent camp kitchen and facilities. Plenty of games to keep yourself busy, very friendly and helpful owners who know the area well. Very affordable and great prices. Will definitely be coming back 😊

Mind blowing and breathtaking are just a few ways to describe this piece of paradise. I was lucky enough to spend 3 nights in the beautiful cottage and 3 days taking in all the Beauty of Cooktown and Bloomfield. Yogi and Kat are simply the best at what they do and it shows. Then there’s Bear!! He’s adorable. My little surrogate dog whilst I’m away from mine. Beautiful little guy.

What a gem of a caravan park. Hosts could not do enough to help us and the park grounds are beautiful. Met other campers around communal fire each night and there’s a great restaurant onsite as well. Loved our stay here.

The owners dog was roaming freely around the park and entered our campsite. When we checked in we were not informed that this may occur and when we shooed the dog away the owner approached us and suggested that we should have known about the dog and that we would not be welcome to stay for more than the night. I find this very offensive as a responsible pet owner. We won’t be back.
